Chapter 510: Chapter 246: Exchange? Epic Equipment: Shadow Blood Boots
Since they hadn’t seen each other since Lin Mo left Roland Town, Edgar’s impression of him was still stuck at the level of a newly advanced Professional. This sudden, immense change was something Edgar simply couldn’t comprehend.
’Is he even f*cking human?’
’Even Giant Dragons, even the legendary Angels and Demons, couldn’t possibly have such an absurd growth rate!’
The most arrogant, most imaginative Minstrel wouldn’t dare write a story like this.
"Then it’s settled. Alright, I’m going to study this properly..."
As he spoke, Andre eagerly picked up the piece of Spirit Vein Mithril and began to examine it closely.
The group left the workshop. Edgar, unable to contain his curiosity, kept pestering Lin Mo, asking what on earth had happened to him.
Lin Mo selectively told him a few things, which was enough to satisfy his curiosity for the time being.
Afterward, he bid farewell to Edgar and Bainlo, once again took a carriage, and returned to the inn where he and his group were staying.
By now it was evening, and Deke and the others had also just returned from outside. The whole group went to a nearby restaurant, ordered a few simple dishes, and took the opportunity to discuss their plans.
According to their previous plan, on their way back to Fajade City, they could pick up some tasks from the Royal Capital and earn some extra money from the trip.
This was common practice for Adventurers operating between the two cities.
However, there was no need to take on difficult tasks for the return journey.
C Level Tasks were, after all, somewhat dangerous, and Lin Mo didn’t like doing dangerous things. There was no need for him to take such risks. Routinely accepting C Level Tasks was something he’d consider after he advanced to Elite Level.
Deke felt the same way. Although he had successfully advanced to a Silver Level Adventurer, it was mostly thanks to Lin Mo’s help. He was still very much aware of his own capabilities.
After this experience, the next time he took on a C Level Task, it would definitely be with the other Silver Level Adventurers in his party.
"In that case, why don’t we take a bit of a detour and avoid going through Blackwater Swamp?" Deke suggested.
"Sounds good!"
Lin Mo nodded at once. He wasn’t too keen on going to a place full of swamps and foul odors either.
"Then let’s head back via the Giant Stone Mine. There are plenty of tasks we can take on from that direction. We can just casually pick two or three D Level Tasks."
"As for the specific tasks, I’ll look into them in a bit. Tomorrow, we can go straight to the Association to accept them..."
「After dinner, they returned to the inn.」
Lin Mo didn’t immediately rush to wash up.
According to the pattern—or rather, the unspoken rule among them—since the Little Wolf Girl had her turn to "sneak a treat" yesterday, then today, it should be the little Maid’s turn.
Sure enough, a few moments later, Shefilya knocked on his door.
The little Maid’s bathing service was as impeccable as ever. At the same time, they also took the opportunity to start practicing their Skills and raising their strength.
Lin Mo’s current Basic Agility Attribute was 74 points, while Shefilya’s was around 90. This meant there was still "wool to be shorn"—it was a mutually beneficial exchange.
...
"Gained Attribute Point: Agility +1"
"Gained Attribute Point: Agility +1"
...
The next morning, Lin Mo looked at the notifications before him and smiled in satisfaction.
’The results are pretty good,’ he thought. ’I actually gained two points of Basic Agility.’
’But logically speaking, after my promotions in the Warrior and Mage Professions, my Constitution, which is what I urgently need to raise, is progressing far too slowly.’
Lin Mo’s Basic Physique Attribute was only 49 points.
’I’ll have to focus on grinding that later.’
Lin Mo sat up, and with the help of Shefilya, who had already been up for a while, he changed into his gear.
It was time to set off on the next adventure...
