By now, the luxurious van had stopped and the manager opened the back car door. Jingtong stepped out of the van in all of his glory.

Wearing a blue checkered blazer and since he was the ambassador of the brand Milan, all of his attire was custom-made and he was given a professional stylist to accompany him on his schedules. With his fair skin and distinct and well-sculpted features, he was the center of attention once he made his appearance.

A group of lovestruck fools starting screaming as their tried to get closer to Jingtong.

“Jingtong is really young,” Lin Shiyu spoke.

Tang Mo’er linked her arm around Lin Shiyu’s arm. “What do you mean? Jingtong is 25 years old this year. Though he’s considered young with his level of fame, you’re still meant to address him as older brother.”

His manager made way for Jingtong to walk through the crowd, the most excited people in the bunch were clearly Lu Qi’er and Lin Ruoxi.

They were both celebrities involved in the entertainment industry and now that they’d seen a top star, Jingtong, they weren’t able to hold themselves back.

If they were able to gain the opportunity to collaborate with Jingtong, their popularity would skyrocket to unbelievable heights.

Lin Ruoxi had learned her ways, she threw a glance at Lu Qi’er before smirking evilly. “Jingtong, welcome! We’re all huge fans of yours. I wonder if we’ll have the honor to listen to you play the piano tonight? It’s such a coincidence, our queen of the music industry is here too. It’d be our greatest honor to be able to watch a performance by the famed king and queen of the music industry!”

Lin Ruoxi then hurriedly pushed Lu Qi’er in front, implying that Lu Qi’er should collaborate with Jingtong.

There were already two pianos prepared for them and he took a seat at one of the pianos.

Stretching out his hands, his fingers stopped on the piano keys lightly, before he started a touching melody.

No matter who listened to his performance, their ears would be pleasured and the lovestruck fools in the crowd almost fainted.

Lu Qi’er was feeling incredibly restless inside. If she were to get the opportunity to collaborate with Jingtong, it would be the greatest opportunity and one that all stars yearned for. It was practically once in a lifetime that she could get this chance.

As the beloved daughter of the Lu family, she was heavily involved in performing arts and even received accreditation and multiple awards for her piano skills. However, even she didn’t dare to go upfront and approach Jingtong for a collaboration.

After all, Jingtong was a known prodigy who played the piano without any rehearsals and did not use any piano scores. His skills were out of this world.

Even as the renowned queen of the music industry, she knew where her own capabilities lay. There was no way she was as talented as Jingtong.

Lu Qi’er threw Lin Ruoxi a glance and clenched her fists silently. Lin Ruoxi was no longer her ally and their bond had fallen to shreds, it was obvious Lin Ruoxi was out to sabotage her.

Everyone was waiting for her, the queen of the music industry, to collaborate with the king, Jingtong.

As her eyes scanned the crowd, Lu Qi’er’s eyes suddenly lit up when her gaze fell on Lin Shiyu. “Shiyu, I’m getting married in two days and as a bride, I can’t tire my wrists out. I remember that you were fond of playing the piano when you were young. I suppose I’ll have to sacrifice myself and give you an opportunity instead. Quick, go over and perform with Jingtong!”
