Wizard: Building a Golem Legion From Zero

Chapter 534 - 519: World-Destroying Demonic Tide

Chapter 534: Chapter 519: World-Destroying Demonic Tide

After Sargeras’s descent, the torn Plane portal in the center of Silver Moon City grew increasingly stable.

WHOOSH!

A dense cacophony of flapping wings merged into a continuous roar. Gargoyles and Winged Demons surged out first, swarming like locusts and taking over the sky in just a few minutes.

Immediately after, from within the ruins of Silver Moon City, an endless Demon army scrambled and pushed their way out in an absolute frenzy.

Hellhounds, Demon Guards, Abyssal Horror Demons... A myriad of hideous monsters converged into a roaring, writhing sea of terror. They quickly blanketed the earth and began spreading madly in all directions.

From the perspective of the Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine, countless red dots representing hostility formed an ever-expanding red tide of destruction with Silver Moon City at its epicenter.

On the bridge, Allen’s deep blue eyes locked onto the rapidly spreading "red tide" displayed on the holographic projection.

"Jarvis."

"I am here, Commander."

"Thirty Golem Legions, the flying units, and the Guard Corps. Deploy them all," Allen ordered. "Lock the coordinates at three hundred kilometers outside the Demon tide and construct a circular defense line."

"Command confirmed. Golem Deployment Skill initiated!"

The next moment, ten massive, ghostly blue spatial gates—each over a hundred meters in diameter—unfolded out of thin air directly in the path of the advancing Demon tide!

A torrent of steel poured out like a cascading galaxy!

From each massive gate marched three fully assembled Golem Legions. Thirty legions, comprising over two hundred thousand standard Golems, descended simultaneously. They carried with them a chilling metallic aura capable of making the entire Plane tremble.

Following closely behind, five forty-eight-meter-tall One-Eyed Giant Cyclopes took their positions, their thundering footsteps shaking the earth as they locked down five critical nodes.

Five pristine white Eight-winged Angel Gabriels transformed into streaks of light, hovering high above the defense line like five stars of judgment ready to strike at any moment.

The war machine began to turn under Allen’s will. From the initial deployment to the finalization of the defense line, the entire process took less than ten minutes.

A great wall of steel stretching for a hundred kilometers rose from the ground, barricading the inevitable path of the fleshy Demon tide.

Before the Demon vanguard could even register what stood in their way, they were greeted by ear-piercing screeches that tore through the sky.

"Purgatory Demon Missile batteries, Red Lotus Type II, initiate the first round of saturated bombardment."

"Targets locked. Fire!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The "Purgatory" Golems stationed at the very rear of the defense line simultaneously opened the missile pods on their backs. Tens of thousands of Magic Missiles shot into the sky, tracing dense, deadly arcs before crashing down like a shower of precision-guided flaming meteors right into the thickest ranks of the Demon vanguard.

The earth wailed.

The fiery explosions merged into one, instantly forming a wall of flames that spanned hundreds of kilometers. The terrifying heat instantly vaporized swaths of Low-tier Demons, while the ensuing shockwaves tore countless more to shreds.

In just this initial carpet bombing prior to any direct engagement, over a hundred thousand Demons were wiped off the map.

"Celestial Throne, ’Light of Judgment,’ fire at will. Cleanse all high-density target zones."

"Command confirmed."

Thirty thousand meters above, the Celestial Throne—which had remained hidden within the clouds—flashed continuously from its bottom cannons.

Pillars of pure white light, each six meters in diameter, pierced the heavens and earth in utter silence. They accurately struck the most heavily populated Demon zones. With every descending pillar of light, a circular area the size of a football field was instantly purified, leaving not even ashes behind.

"Hive Mother Ships, release the ’Mad Bees’."

"Command confirmed."

Hovering ten thousand meters in the air, the fleet of ninety inverted-pyramid Hive Mother Ships simultaneously opened their deployment bays. Over a hundred thousand "Mad Bee" drones swarmed out. The torrent of black metal rained down from the sky, instantly transforming into a blue storm of death that covered the entire battlefield.

Every "drop" of this rain was a lethal Magic Beam.

Looking down from above, ghostly blue lights constantly flickered on and off amidst the sickly green Demon tide. Every flash signified the deaths of dozens, if not hundreds, of Demons. The beams wove into a massive net, sweeping swaths of flying Demons from the sky as they attempted to cross the defense line.

The aerial battlefield was the first to engage in close combat!

One "Gabriel" traced an elegant, deadly trajectory through the air. It locked onto a Lord of Purgatory—a behemoth towering over fifteen meters—hovering above the battlefield. The Gabriel’s eight wings folded together to form a pure white Holy Spear. The moment it left its hands, it broke the sound barrier.

The Lord of Purgatory was pierced through in a single strike. The Seven-Layered Chain Curse Technique detonated sequentially within its body, ultimately shattering it from the inside out into burning debris.

Eighteen "Freedom Gundams" and five "Gabriels" acted as highly efficient ace hunters. Under the cover of thousands of "Storm Falcon" fighters, they shuttled across the sky at high speeds, accurately sniping down the massive, terrifyingly imposing High-tier Demons.

The ground, meanwhile, had turned into a gigantic meat grinder.

Faced with the charge of tens of thousands of Demons, one Cyclops didn’t retreat, but advanced.

"Terrain Reconstruction."

Countless stone spikes erupted violently from beneath the earth, skewering thousands of Demons against a stone wall and leaving them twitching in their death throes. Immediately after, it engaged in a brutal brawl with a gargantuan Demon.

However, the true core of the meat grinder was the nine thousand "Peacekeeper PX-3s". They divided into hundreds of mobile fortresses, slicing through the incoming Demon tide.

The moment the first row of Demons crashed into them, it was like slamming into a wall of red-hot steel. Their flesh and blood instantly vaporized and stripped away under the intense heat and vibrations. Severed limbs and shattered organs were thrown into the air, only to be trampled into mush by the Demons following closely behind.

The densely packed "Spider-Killer Type IIs" acted like Ghosts, silently traversing all kinds of terrain. They harvested isolated targets with sniper fire and their razor-sharp appendages.

On one side was an apocalyptic Demon tide—a swirl of sickly green and crimson red, reeking of sulfur and echoing with crazed roars and the sounds of tearing flesh.

On the other side was an army of steel, painted in ghostly blue and silver-white. They emitted nothing but the cold whir of machinery, the thud of uniform footsteps, and the hum of precision energy blasts.

These two diametrically opposed forces clashed violently upon the lands of Ionia, staging a primal yet magnificent epic of destruction.

The number of Demons seemed endless. Every passing second, thousands upon thousands of them surged out from the Plane portal, charging fearlessly toward the steel defense line.

Yet, Allen’s Golem Legion acted as a highly efficient meat grinder. They felt no fear or fatigue. Under unified command, every single unit executed highly optimized slaughter protocols.

Battle damage reports continuously refreshed on Allen’s retinas. The Demon death toll kept rising, and the situation seemed incredibly favorable.

However, Allen’s brows remained tightly knitted.

Through the hundreds of Demon Eyes scattered across the battlefield, he focused all of his attention on a single location.

Above the ruins of Silver Moon City.

That mountain of a figure—the Purgatory Monarch, Sargeras—had simply stood there from the very beginning, watching with total apathy as his legion was slaughtered in droves.

It was as if this tragic war playing out before him was just a theatrical performance that had nothing to do with him. It was as if that endless Demon Legion was truly nothing more than expendable cannon fodder to be squandered at will.

This sheer indifference felt far more bizarre to Allen than any display of fury.

"Is he so fearless because the Demon Legion is truly endless?" he wondered.

Right then, Jarvis’s voice rang out on the bridge, sounding like music to his ears.

"Commander. The Ten Thousand Miles of Sunshine’s ’Zero’ Antimatter Annihilation Main Cannon has fully charged its energy matrix. Ready to fire at your command."

Allen’s gaze instantly pierced through hundreds of kilometers of the chaotic battlefield, sweeping past the endless Demon tide to lock onto that pair of terrifying eyes that seemed to burn with the flames of the entire Plane.
