Warrior’s Promise

Su Mo stood quietly in the starry sky and looked at Archosaur Star from afar off. The blasting sounds kept resounding in his ears.

True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe were attacking the protective array of Archosaur Star, and they were forcing him to show up.

After pondering for a while, Su Mo turned around to leave. True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe were too powerful. Given his current strength, he only had the ability to protect himself and he could not destroy the two tribes.

He had to break through to the Martial Sage Great Completion Realm and become a King Sage.

Su Mo went back to the cave and entered the Bangle Space. He started to swallow the Spiritual Crystals to help him break through the realm.

He devoured heaps and heaps of Spiritual Crystals, and the speed was shocking.

Time passed quickly. Su Mo pushed away all thoughts and he was only concerned with breaking through the realm to become a King Sage.

Vast Spiritual Qi entered his body. It was being refined into the Five Elements Dark Force before it merged with the Chaotic Energy.

The Chaotic Sage Pill in his body churned speedily to absorb the vast amount of Chaotic Energy and it grew bigger in an instant.

Archosaur Star.

Six Empty Gods each from the Sorcerer Tribe and True Demon Tribe stood outside the protective array and continued to attack it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The explosions filled the sky and with 12 Empty Gods attacking the protective array, the array started to shake violently.

Long Cang, Long Teng, and many top powers from the Dragon Tribe stood in the air within the Air Shield Array and looked ghastly pale.

“Jiu Yang, Gu Ling, I have told you that Su Mo has left Archosaur Star. Stop digging your own grave!” Long Cang shouted. If the two tribes continued to attack them, Dragon Tribe would turn violent.

“Long Cang, we don’t mean to set ourselves against you but Su Mo has to die!”

Demon God Jiu Yang stopped attacking and he looked at Long Cang through the Air Shield Array.

He had no intention of setting himself against the Dragon Tribe but he could not care less as he wanted to kill Su Mo.

Since Dragon Tribe refused to cooperate with them, he had to use force on them.

“Long Cang, tell us where Su Mo is and we will leave!” Gu Ling said in his deep voice after he stopped attacking the array.

“How would I know where he is? He did not tell me where he is going!” Long Cang said, his face dark.

He would not have had the patience to talk to the two of them if he had been able to get more Empty Gods back to the tribe!

He had already informed the Empty Gods who were at God’s Path about their battle with True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe.

However, their Empty Gods had been having clashes with the Empty Gods from the Nether Tribe at God’s Path and they were unable to get back to help him. He had to resolve the problem on his own.

That was one of the reasons why he did not collaborate with Su Mo.

Fortunately, there were many top powers in the tribe and they were still able to contend with the top powers from True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe.

“You have no idea but Long Teng and Xiao Xiao should know!” Gu Ling said in his hoarse voice.

Long Teng and Xiao Xiao had played a part in destroying their Heavenly Sorcerer Star, thus Gu Ling knew that the two of them were close to Su Mo.

“Long Cang, hand Xiao Xiao over to us and we will leave immediately!” Demon God Jiu Yang said. He knew that it was impossible for Su Mo to be at Archosaur Star.

After all, Su Mo was smart and he would not stay in Archosaur Star. They needed time to travel to Archosaur Star, so Su Mo would have left by then.

Demon God Jiu Yang knew that Long Cang would not know where Su Mo was, and even Long Teng and Xiao Xiao might not have known.

However, as long as they had control over Long Teng and Xiao Xiao, they would be able to find Su Mo.

The two of them would help them kill Su Mo. However, Long Teng was precious to the Dragon Tribe and they would not let him take any risk. Gu Ling could only work on Xiao Xiao.

Xiao Xiao was standing behind Long Teng, and when she heard what Demon God Jiu Yang had said, she became flustered.

Although she was a member of the Dragon Tribe, they did not value her as much as they valued Long Teng.

However, her worries were soon gone when she heard Long Cang said, “We will never hand any of our men to an outsider. If you want to fight, go ahead!”

Long Cang was not threatened. Although Dragon Tribe was in a bad situation, they would not betray their men in order to survive.

“Long Cang, wake up! Do you think we dare not destroy Archosaur Star?” Demon God Jiu Yang roared and he was furious. Long Cang did not know what was good for them.

“Long Cang, your Empty Gods have been badly battered by the Nether Tribe at God’s Path and only a few are left. Do you think you are still as powerful as before?” Gu Ling said.

When Dragon Tribe was at its peak, the Sorcerer Tribe dared not set themselves against them. However, only a few Empty Gods were left in the Dragon Tribe at the moment.

Several decades ago, there was a fierce battle at God’s Path and the Dragon Tribe had lost around 100 Empty Gods. Among them were two Rank 4 Empty Gods.

Although the Dragon Tribe was still powerful, the Sorcerer Tribe was no longer afraid of them.

“Even if we are not as powerful as before, we are not afraid of you!”

Long Cang said coldly. Having said that, he turned around and flew toward the tribe.

The rest of the top powers followed behind Long Cang, looking gloomy.

“Tribe Leader, what shall we do if they continue to attack us?” Long Teng asked anxiously as he flew toward Long Cang.

Although Dragon Tribe was still powerful and they would not be destroyed, there would be a great battle if the array was being destroyed. There would be casualties when that happened.

“All the Martial Sages and above shall go and support the array. I will go and contact our Empty Gods who are at God’s Path!” Long Cang said emotionlessly.

“Yes!” The men responded and went to support the array immediately.

Long Cang returned to the tribe and went into a secret chamber in an ancient palace.

There were many complicated lines on the floor of the secret chamber and they formed a strange array.

Long Cang went to the center of the array and sat cross-legged on it. The Dragon Power in his hand surged into the array, and he slowly shut his eyes.

The array was unique. It could connect to the Empty Gods at God’s Path and allow one to communicate with them.

God’s Path was a special plane. One could not connect to it using the ordinary method.

Even the Spiritual Imprint and avatar would be alienated from God’s Path.

However, the array was able to connect one to God’s Path.

Most of the tribes had set up similar arrays as well.

Time passed quickly. One hour passed in a short while.

The light in the array dimmed down and Long Cang opened his eyes in dismay.

He had communicated with the Empty Gods at God’s Path but none of them were able to help him.

He had requested for a Rank 3 or Rank 4 Empty God to return to the tribe at all costs.

However, they would need at least three months to reach the Archosaur Star.

Long Cang looked impassive and he was silent. He could only depend on himself.

Fortunately, the array could still hold out against the attacks for a short period of time.

If the array gave way, he would have to get Long Teng and Xiao Xiao to tell True Demon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe about Su Mo in order to avoid unnecessary losses.
