When she heard she had to take off her clothes, Gu Ning looked at the silver bracelet on her wrist. Knowing that Little Mei probably wanted to inspect the Silver Armor on her body, she hesitated for a moment before taking off her pajama pants.
Marshal Mei glanced up, and her brow twitched slightly when she saw the silver briefs Gu Ning was wearing.

Gu Ning glanced down and immediately wanted to look away. In truth, if the thing didn’t move, she could barely feel its presence. But after what had just happened, its presence was intensely palpable, and she could no longer ignore it.
Marshal Mei activated the bracelet on her terminal, grabbed Gu Ning’s left index finger, and pressed it against the bracelet to grant her access. Afterward, she proceeded to operate the Silver Armor from the terminal.

Windsor also spoke up. "This Silver Armor is a good thing. As long as you’re wearing the bracelet, you can use it. It can be a weapon or a defense."
Marshal Mei said, "This bracelet is made of the same material as the Silver Armor and fits your wrist perfectly. No one can remove it except you. Later, I’ll transfer the operating system to your terminal. After that, you can figure out how to operate this thing on your own."
"It shouldn’t be difficult for you." Marshal Mei gave Gu Ning a meaningful look, as if trying to read something from her face.
Gu Ning didn’t catch the deeper meaning behind her words and simply nodded.

"Thank you." Gu Ning put her pants back on and thanked Meira. "Mei..."
The name was on the tip of her tongue, but she stopped herself.
She didn’t know how to address this female who was called Little Mei. That probably wasn’t her real name, and it didn’t feel right to call her that, as Windsor did. She also couldn’t bring herself to call her "Mom."
She already felt it was disrespectful to call Windsor by her given name, since she was an elder so much older than her. That’s why she had added "Teacher" after her name earlier, which Windsor seemed to accept.
"Meira. That’s my name." Marshal Mei saw the little one’s dilemma and said, "If you don’t want to call me Mom, just call me Meira."
"Meira... Miss," Gu Ning said, searching her mind for a suitable form of address.
Menela said, "Just Meira. Or Mom."
Hearing her decisive tone, Gu Ning relented. "Meira."
Hearing her obediently call her name, a corner of Marshal Mei’s mouth twitched up slightly. But in an instant, she composed herself and said, "It’s getting late. Eat the food on the table and get some rest. I need to sleep, too. Windsor and I will come see you again in the morning."

Windsor and her daughter left the hospital room, paying little mind to the three males standing guard at the door, and went to the hospital roof.

Hearing her tone, Ah Mo chirped, "Are there other problems?"
Menela said, "There are plenty of problems."
As she spoke, she turned to Windsor and asked, "Mother, are you sure she’s a female from Sky Watch Point?"
Windsor said, "I’m eighty percent sure."
Menela said, "That remaining twenty percent isn’t a small chance."
Ah Mo tilted his head. "Chirp?" (Why do you think the little one isn’t a female from Sky Watch Point?)
Menela said, "She knows nothing about the Silver Armor. If she were a female from Sky Watch Point, it’s impossible that she wouldn’t know about it. Her genetic test report also didn’t match anything in the gene bank. I can’t draw a definitive conclusion based solely on speculation about her appearance and linking it to recent events."
Then, she asked Windsor, "Mother, what are your thoughts on that twenty percent?"
Windsor shook her head gently. "That twenty percent is reserved for Ningning."
Menela paused. "What do you mean?"
Ah Mo let out a chirp, understanding Windsor’s meaning.
Windsor said, "The people at Sky Watch Point know Ningning isn’t a female from the Beast Alliance. In that case, where she comes from is no longer important. We just need to let her put down roots here in peace."
Menela thought for a moment, and then understood.
’No wonder those guys from the Heavenly Beast Clan were being so sneaky. Discovering a wild female, how could they not try to snatch her up for themselves immediately? If I don’t hurry and establish the little one’s identity, I’m afraid she’ll become an excuse for Sky Watch Point to attack the Beast Alliance. I will not let that happen.’
"No one else can know about this," Menela said in a low voice.
Windsor brushed the snow off Little Mei’s shoulder. "This will be hard on you, Little Mei."
Menela crossed her arms. "What are you talking about, Mother?"
Windsor said, "I’m old now, and I face many restrictions. Otherwise, I would have taken Ningning back to Zone 9 to look after her."
Marshal Mei remained silent.
With a chirp, Ah Mo raised a wing and wrapped it around Windsor. "Darling, don’t say that. You can see how much Little Mei likes this little one. She’ll take good care of her."
"Hmph." Marshal Mei shot him a sidelong glance. "I’m very busy. The rest is up to her. I won’t meddle too much. You two had better stop running all over the place and go check on her from time to time."
