Chapter 282 - 252: She Is Kissing Herself
Chapter 282: Chapter 252: She Is Kissing Herself
"Get off!"
Gu Ning was furious, kicking at him as she tried to back away.
With just a little effort, Leo scooped her back into his arms.
"Get off!" Gu Ning kicked and squirmed in his arms.
"Shhh..." Leo covered her mouth and whispered, "Don’t wake up the pup outside. You wouldn’t want me to have to beat him up, would you?"
He didn’t feel the least bit guilty about sneaking into Gu Ning’s bed in the middle of the night. He just didn’t want any other beastman butting in and ruining the wonderful atmosphere with his little female.
Gu Ning glared at him. ’He has the gall to talk about beating up Cook?’
’If you ask me, Cook should be the one beating *him* up!’
Leo felt himself getting worked up from her squirming. He was already breaking a sweat after just a few moments.
"The sofa’s uncomfortable." Leo couldn’t completely pin her down, so he resorted to coaxing her. "Just let me lie on the bed for a bit."
Gu Ning snapped, "Fine, lie down, but stay away from me!"
"Shh, quieter." Afraid that pup Cook would wake up, Leo covered Gu Ning’s mouth again. "The bed’s only so big. We can’t help it if we’re close."
’Like I’d believe that!’
This bed was built to a Beastman’s proportions; it could easily fit two or three of them, but he just had to press up against her.
And it wasn’t just pressing against her. He was hugging, groping, and licking her too.
Seeing that this dog absolutely refused to get off, Gu Ning put more force into her kicks.
"Oof..." Leo let out what sounded like a pained groan. "You heartless little thing. You kicked me in the stomach."
Gu Ning froze. She drew her foot back and her hands frantically searched his body. "Are you okay? Does it hurt badly?"
Then, she pushed against Leo’s shoulder to sit up, intending to get off the bed.
The moment she moved, she felt a familiar, warm gush—
"..."
’Wait a minute...’
Gu Ning stiffened. When it dawned on her, she reached a hand behind her bottom.
"What’s that smell?" Leo detected the scent of blood mixed in with her strong, sweet fragrance. His expression immediately grew serious. After sniffing the air a few times, he quickly located its source.
He shoved his head into Gu Ning’s lap, pressing against her abdomen and sniffing vigorously.
His nudging pushed Gu Ning back down, and his dog-like head naturally followed the scent downward.
"You’re bleeding?!" The tip of Leo’s nose brushed against the damp spot on her pants. His expression changed. Looking up, he asked, "How did you suddenly get injured?"
"Let me see." Worried and impatient, he tried to pull off her pants.
Gu Ning pushed him away in a flurry. "I’m not injured!"
Right now, she desperately wanted to grab his dog ears and yell, ’It’s my period! Menstruation!’
Even more, she wanted to crack open his stupid dog head and cram some knowledge about menstruation into his brain.
"You’re bleeding this much, and you say you’re not injured?" Seeing her pants soaked through with blood, Leo didn’t hesitate. He swept her into his arms, pinning her hands with one arm so she couldn’t struggle, while his other hand went for her pants. "Be good. Let me see your wound."
"It’s not... Let... let me go!" Gu Ning couldn’t say the word for "period" in the Beastman language, and this dumb dog probably wouldn’t understand even if she could. She was getting desperate.
The more she struggled, the heavier the bleeding became.
Her hands were pinned, and she couldn’t break free. Panicked, she opened her mouth and bit down on his chin.
Leo froze, stopping what he was doing.
’She... She’s kissing me.’
Leo completely ignored the faint pain from her teeth, focusing only on the soft touch of her lips against his chin.
Her potent fragrance made his head spin. He instinctively wrapped an arm around her neck, wanting more...
BANG!
The bedroom door was thrown open, slamming against the wall with a deafening crash.
Gu Ning jumped at the startling sound. The moment she let go of Leo, she heard Cook’s furious "WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!" as he charged at them.
Fearing Gu Ning would get hurt, Leo reacted in a flash, spinning around with her in his arms to shield her from Cook’s attack with his own back.
"Cook, don’t fight!"
Gu Ning had barely spoken when Cook tackled Leo away, and a hand from out of nowhere plucked her from the bed.
"What did he do to you?!" Barto’s furious voice roared in Gu Ning’s ear.
Smelling the heavy scent of blood on Gu Ning, Barto shot Leo a cold, ruthless glare. He couldn’t be bothered to punish him just yet; his priority was to check Gu Ning for injuries.
Gu Ning couldn’t explain. She pushed at Barto’s hands, saying, "I’m not injured! Cook, stop!"
Leo and Cook were already tangled in a brawl. Seeing their shadowy forms thrashing in the dark and hearing Cook’s snarls, Gu Ning shouted, "Cook, get over here!"
Cook heard her voice and hesitated for a second, but then Leo punched him in the face. His feral instincts flared, and he lunged forward again, trying to tear into him.
Just as Barto was about to carry her out of the bedroom, a figure rushed to the doorway. CLICK! The bedroom light flashed on, followed by Vine’s furious shout:
"Stop it!"
The second he spoke, Leo shoved Cook away, warning, "Come at me again, you mutt, and I’ll get serious."
Gu Ning rushed to pull Cook back, soothing his fur. "Cook, good boy, I’m okay."
Cook snarled at Leo, baring his teeth, then turned and whimpered, burying his head in Gu Ning’s arms. Sniffing the familiar, sweet-tinged scent of blood on her, he licked her face, then nuzzled his head against her lower abdomen as if trying to hide the smell.
Barto pulled the dog away and stared at the bloodstain on Gu Ning.
She was wearing white pajama pants, making the patch of blood all the more conspicuous.
He stared at the crimson stain on Gu Ning’s pants for several seconds, then whipped his head toward Leo, his gaze so ferocious it looked like he wanted to devour him.
Gu Ning’s reflexes were quick; she grabbed Barto as he started forward to attack. "I’m fine! Don’t fight."
"What did you do?!" Vine bellowed at Leo, his eyes fixed on the blood on the little female’s pants.
Seeing them all questioning him, Leo said, "What did I do? I was just sleeping with her. Just check her wound already."
With that, he started walking toward Gu Ning.
Hearing this, Barto’s and Vine’s faces turned even uglier. Gu Ning mentally cursed the stupid dog. ’Why is he so determined to get himself beaten up?’
Seeing that Vine was on the verge of attacking, Gu Ning stepped between the three of them, holding up her hands. "I’m fine! Really, I’m fine!"
’Can everyone just calm down and let me change my damn sanitary pad in peace?! I’m bleeding out here, for crying out loud!’
"Why are you defending him?!" Barto demanded, pulling her to his side.
She was bleeding; how could they possibly believe she was fine?
Seeing Leo try to approach Gu Ning again, Vine was about to move forward, but Philinos suddenly appeared behind him. He shoved Vine aside and struck Leo hard in the chest with his sheathed longsword.
The unrestrained force of the blow sent Leo stumbling backward. A sharp CRACK echoed as one of his ribs broke.
Philinos had just returned from outside, and a cold air clung to him, but his expression was even icier. He twirled the scabbard in his hand and whipped it across the back of Leo, who was still clutching his chest.
The scabbard cut through the air with a whistle before landing with tremendous force on Leo’s back.
Before Leo could even straighten up, the blow sent him sprawling to the floor.
Philinos’s two attacks were over in an instant. By the time Gu Ning processed what had happened, Leo was already down on the floor.
She saw that Philinos was about to strike the "dog" again, and that Barto and the others had murder in their eyes. Gu Ning knew that if she didn’t give them an explanation that could calm them down, Leo would be beaten half to death, and she would undoubtedly be forced to let them inspect her "wound."
"I’m not injured!" Gu Ning took a deep breath, gritted her teeth, and yelled in desperation, "I’m in heat!"
