If they were unlucky, they would probably be swallowed by someone like the matron dragon with a single bite and nobody would care. They wanted to rule as well. They did not want to be slaves. It was that simple.

Tiangu sighed with relief. He didn't mind being called a fool. At the very least, this would make things clearer. At this point, the two couldn't even return to Control King's lineage anymore. They would no longer be trusted.

"Keep an eye on these two." Tiangu transmitted. Then, he looked at the two and said, "Since you're here, you will handle the twins."

Of the seven Venerables on the other side, the twins were not weak. However, the tiger and dragon were powerhouses as well. Thus, this wasn't a task beyond their ability. The two looked at each other and nodded.

Tiangu continued, "The immortal race will handle Yue Luo and Yue Hao. As for the remaining three, the divine race will take one, the devil race will take one, and the nether, dragon, and phoenix Venerables will take the remaining Venerable on the other side.

"If that person does emerge, Consort Emeritus will need to delay them for a bit. We will arrive to help when we're done with our opponents."

The Consort Emeritus would handle Yue Zhan. He did not assign any opponent to Su Yu's side. At present, he would be happy so long as Su Yu didn't stab them in the back. However, he was still extremely wary toward Su Yu.

By offering to handle two of the more powerful Venerables, Tiangu was demonstrating the sincerity of the immortals. The dragon, phoenix, and nether Venerables only needed to face one Venerable. Tiangu transmitted again, "Consort Emeritus, stay back for now. If that Ancestor does emerge, think carefully before making your move. Try to get Su Yu's group to fight and keep an eye on the devils."

Consort Emeritus' eyes flickered, but she said nothing.

"According to what I know, and according to what Su Yu knows, there is a relationship between the devils and Control King's lineage. The mixing of bloodlines might not be a big deal, but we still need to be careful. If the devils do turn on us, you'll have to handle them, Consort Emeritus."

Su Yu had mentioned the mixed bloodlines, but most people had ignored him. It wasn't like that had never happened before. The human race had always been prejudiced against the mixing of bloodlines, but the other races were much more tolerant of that. Previously, the immortals had offered to handle two of the stronger Venerables. And now, they were volunteering to handle the projected beast as well. What could the others complain about this?

"Venerable Dao, handle Yue Luo. Venerable Desolate, handle Yue Hao. Sacred Source, we will remain mobile. Kill!"

The battle increased in intensity.

Instantly, numerous chaos beasts were killed. The matron dragon and other powerhouses rushed forth to stabilize the frontline. One formation after another was activated by Control King's lineage.

Having stayed here for many years, Control King's lineage had numerous contingencies in place. Numerous formations were appearing in the sky as well. Some were even brimming with the power of chaos lightning. With a rumble, a rain of chaos lightning fell upon the world below. The battle had finally started in earnest.

Giant Axe and the others looked at Su Yu questioningly. The myriad races were finally fighting for real. They were surprisingly decisive. Even with the addition of the matron dragon, the myriad races did not shrink back from the fight. As of this moment, the myriad races held the upper hand.

After a short observation, Su Yu laughed, "Let's go."
