He glanced down and saw that it was a package. At first, he did not think much of it and bent over to pick it up when he suddenly realized it was somewhat familiar—it was none other than the package Ji’er had dropped in front of him that afternoon.
He picked it up, intending to put it back in the wardrobe.

The girl’s voice was soft and sweet, and she sounded as if she was whining adorably when she stretched out the last syllable of his name.

“Yes?” he murmured without looking behind him.
“Um…” After a moment’s consideration, Ji’er decided to walk out from behind the folding screen.
However, her posture was dreadfully strange and awkward.
“What?” Chu Qi still did not turn around.
Thinking about what she wanted to say, Ji’er blushed scarlet.
She hesitated for a long time, and only when she felt something warm gush out did she blurt out in alarm, “M-my period’s here, but I didn’t prepare a sanitary belt. Help me…” She sounded tearful and distressed.
