Lu Liangwei sighed and said gently, “Come sit next to me, Ji’er. Let’s have a good chat.”
Ji’er got up and walked over to sit next to her mother.
Lu Liangwei reached out to hug her around the shoulders and smiled as she said, “Our Ji’er is all grown up now. You’re almost as tall as I am.”
“Mother…” Ji’er suddenly threw herself into Lu Liangwei’s arms despondently.
Lu Liangwei patted her back consolingly. She looked at Ji’er’s pretty face and said a little sadly, “There’s something on your mind but you’re not willing to share it with your mother.”

Lu Liangwei was taken aback by the question.
It was true that she had thought about it that way.
