The Villainess's Heartthrob Script: I Can Talk to Animals

Chapter 339: "I Don’t Mind Letting Miles Be the Happy Father.

Chapter 339: Chapter 339: "I Don’t Mind Letting Miles Be the Happy Father.

"It’s alright." Renee looked at the little turtle and chuckled. "What’s his name?"

"His name is Milo." Miles seemed a little embarrassed as he said this.

[Haha, you’re Miles and he’s Milo.]

[This guy’s personality is so shy, I love it. Too bad he’s married.]

[Don’t worry, sis. Maybe he’ll be divorced soon. You still have a chance.]

[I think his wife probably has a boyfriend, hehe.]

Renee was surprised her fans could be so blunt.

She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. "Could you guys be a little more subtle?"

[Subtle would be: a touch of green on the guy’s head.]

[LMAOOOO I’M DEAD]

Renee decided to ignore the live comments. "Hello, Milo. Can I have a little chat with you?"

The little turtle, Milo, heard her voice and slowly turned around. He stared at Renee on the phone screen with his two beady eyes, full of curiosity. "Are you the one who wants to chat with me?"

"Yes." Renee nodded slightly. "It’s me. You only just came back to Miles in the past day or two, right?"

Milo: "Yeah! It’s so much better with Miles. I was starving to death over with Nana and Connor."

"Miles, is Nana your wife?" Renee asked.

Miles replied, "Yes, she’s my wife."

Renee then asked, "And do you know a Connor?"

"Connor?" Miles’s brow furrowed in suspicion. "I don’t know anyone by that name."

[Highlight this: the other man has appeared.]

[This Connor must be your wife’s lover.]

"Okay." Renee looked back at Milo. "Did Nana and Connor not feed you?"

Milo: "Barely. Usually, Nana would only feed me after Miles called to remind her."

Renee pursed her lips and hesitated. "Miles, are you sure you want to ask Milo these questions on a live broadcast?"

’This was, after all, a very private matter.’

And from experience, Renee felt the live comments were pretty much spot on. Miles’s wife had most likely cheated on him.

Miles hesitated for a moment before nodding gravely. "I’m sure. Go ahead and ask, streamer."

"Alright." Renee gave a small nod and asked Milo again, "Do you know what Nana usually calls Connor?"

"Umm..." Milo pondered. "Nana sometimes calls him Connor, but other times she calls him ’hubby’."

"And what does Connor call Nana?"

"Connor sometimes calls Nana ’baby,’ and other times he calls her ’my dear wife’."

It took Milo a while of hearing these names to figure things out. At first, he thought it was strange. ’There are clearly only two humans in the house, so how can there be a Nana *and* a ’baby’?’

Renee: "Milo, do Connor and Nana live together?"

"Yeah, and they sleep together," Milo said. "I think some human behaviors are really weird. Can you explain them to me?"

Renee smiled. "I can. What is it you don’t understand?"

Milo: "Well, sometimes Nana and Connor will be watching TV, and then they’ll start kissing and taking off their clothes. And Connor always asks Nana, ’Am I better, or is Miles better?’"

Renee: "..."

’The little turtle is too young to understand any of this. How am I supposed to explain it to him?’

The Slider in the terrarium snickered. "What a naive little turtle! Allow me to educate you..."

Renee had no idea how Slider knew about such things, but the little guy had certainly done her a favor.

At least now she wouldn’t have to explain Nana and Connor’s behavior to Milo on the live broadcast.

Renee took a sip of water from her mug before continuing, "Did Nana and Connor ever mention Miles?"

"Oh, yeah!" Milo said. "Connor mentions Miles all the time. He even says Miles is the homewrecker who stole Nana..."

Connor was actually Nana’s first love. They had started dating in their second year of high school. Connor’s grades were poor, and he failed the college entrance exam. He studied for a year to retake it but still failed to get into a university, so he entered the workforce and started doing odd jobs.

The two continued dating until Nana graduated from college. Her parents only found out about Connor when they tried to set Nana up on blind dates.

Nana’s parents were both middle school teachers, so naturally, they looked down on someone like Connor who couldn’t even get into college.

Moreover, Connor had no ambition. He worked as a rental agent, but his salary was a meager five thousand a month.

Nana’s parents forcefully demanded that she break up with him and proceeded to arrange blind dates for her.

Nana went on several of these dates but rejected every man, claiming she just didn’t like them.

Later, her defiance angered her mother so much that she ended up in the hospital. Only then did Nana reluctantly give in, agreeing to date Miles right after their first meeting on a blind date.

However, she didn’t actually break up with Connor. Instead, she started two-timing them.

Connor had said things like this more than once. "If Miles hadn’t suddenly barged into our relationship, you would have been my wife by now."

Nana knew perfectly well that it wasn’t Miles’s fault; he was a victim in this, too.

"Connor, do you really think this is all Miles’s fault? You don’t resent my parents?"

"Silly girl, how could I ever resent your parents?" Connor said, wrapping his arms around Nana and whispering softly, "I love you, so of course, I love your parents too."

Nana was deeply moved. "Oh, Connor, thank you."

"You really want to thank me?" Connor asked, rubbing her waist.

Nana nodded vigorously. "I do."

Connor nibbled on her ear. "Then give me a son."

"But..." Nana’s brow furrowed slightly. "What about Miles? Am I supposed to actually agree to a divorce? I’m worried my parents couldn’t handle the shock..."

"Silly girl," Connor said matter-of-factly. "I don’t mind letting Miles play the part of the proud father."

He couldn’t ask for a better deal than having someone else raise his son for him.

"Are you sure?" Nana was still hesitant.

Connor: "I’m sure. I want a child that’s a symbol of our love."

With that, he pushed Nana down onto the sofa, his hands skillfully undoing her clothes.

Milo couldn’t hold back his curiosity. "Are Connor and Nana doing something to wrong Miles?"

"Yes." Renee looked at the world-weary man on the other side of the screen, a trace of pity in her eyes. "Miles, you should probably prepare yourself."

[Renee is so serious. Looks like something big is about to drop.]

[Sorry, Miles, but I’m grabbing my popcorn!]

The crowd of fluffy pets watching the drama unfold behind Renee also began to chime in.

Blueberry: "Poor guy."

Cici: "Does this mean he can get a new wife?"

Bella: "That sounds awful!"

Pudding: "So is it true? The one who isn’t loved is the real ’other woman’?"

Slider: "OMG, you guys, I can’t even... this turtle can’t take any more of this gossip!"

Renee: "..."

’How do these guys know so much?’

She collected her thoughts, pursed her lips, and briefly recounted the whole story.

[Holy shit, isn’t this too much?]

[Miles doesn’t just have a little green on his head. He’s got a whole grassy pasture up there.]
