Chapter 134: The Fish in the Fishpond Meet

Chapter 134: Chapter 134: The Fish in the Fishpond Meet

When Renee and Michelle Fuller arrived at Jenny’s house, Sleepy Senior and Rice Cake were sitting on the living room sofa, drinking bubble tea.

Seeing them, the two of them quickly got up and came forward to greet them.

"Host, you’re really here!"

"Oh my god! You’re even prettier in person than on your stream!"

Rice Cake then looked at Michelle Fuller, who was standing beside Renee. "Let me guess, this must be the host’s best friend, Autumnal Bloom."

"You’re so smart!" Michelle Fuller exclaimed, snapping her fingers and extending her hand. "I’m Michelle Fuller."

"I’m Rice Cake." Rice Cake shook her hand.

Michelle Fuller looked at her in surprise. "Is that your real name?"

"Yep," Rice Cake explained. "When my mom was pregnant with me, she had a huge craving for rice cakes, so my parents just decided to name me that."

"That’s a very unique name," Michelle Fuller remarked.

Sleepy Senior also took Renee’s hand and introduced herself. "My name is Wendy Griffin. Just call me Erin."

"Okay, Erin." Renee gave a small nod.

Jenny handed the other two cups of bubble tea from the coffee table to Renee and Michelle Fuller. "Here, drink up. I’m just packing my bags. After we’re done tearing this scumbag apart, I’m going to go crash with my best friend."

Seeing that she was in much better spirits, a smile touched Renee’s eyes. "Need any help?"

"Not with packing my bags." Jenny paused, her eyes narrowing as she gritted her teeth. "Just help me deal with the scumbag!"

"No problem!" Michelle Fuller slung an arm around Renee’s shoulders, grinning. "I’m the muscle Renee brought in. I’ll make sure to knock that scumbag’s teeth out!"

Renee said with a laugh, "Don’t hit him too hard. I’d hate for you to hurt your hand."

Michelle: "If my hand hurts, will you feel bad for me?"

Renee: "Of course."

"A great best friend is more reliable than any man!" Michelle Fuller declared proudly.

Renee’s eyes curved into crescents as she laughed.

"You said it!" Jenny agreed wholeheartedly. "You guys sit for a bit. I’ll be done packing in no time."

"Okay." Renee nodded. "You focus on what you need to do. Don’t mind us."

"Alright." Jenny smiled and walked into her room, her heart feeling warm. The sorrow of being cheated on was completely gone.

Around 5:30 in the evening, Renee started her livestream.

The viewer count instantly shot up to thirty thousand. Clearly, everyone had been waiting for her to go live.

[Here for the drama~]

[So excited!!!]

[Got my popcorn ready!]

[Has the scumbag arrived yet?]

Renee said gently, "The scumbag isn’t here yet."

Wendy Griffin, Rice Cake, and Jenny all crowded in front of the camera to say hi to the viewers.

[They’re all so pretty! What a wholesome vibe!]

[I’m actually a little jealous of those three...]

[Me too! For the first time, I wish I was getting cheated on by Carson Larkin too! Just so I could fight alongside you all! (My thoughts are so toxic)]

[The power of sisterhood is seriously so captivating!!!]

Michelle Fuller pulled a bag of caramel-flavored sunflower seeds out of her purse, tore it open, and leisurely started snacking on them.

Renee flipped the camera around to focus on her face, saying with a grin, "Let me introduce everyone. This is the muscle I hired."

[It’s Michelle!]

[Hahahaha, so it’s our resident drama-watcher, Autumnal Bloom.]

[Did Michelle bring her own sunflower seeds?]

Renee’s eyes crinkled as she smiled. "That’s right, Michelle brought her own snacks. She’s an elite-level drama-watcher."

Michelle Fuller blinked. "Is the camera on me?"

Renee nodded.

Michelle Fuller puffed out her chest and raised an eyebrow. "Don’t you all worry. I’ll make sure to beat that scumbag Larkin until he doesn’t know what hit him!"

They chatted with the audience, reading the scrolling comments for a while, when Jenny suddenly heard the sound of the keypad lock on the front door.

"I think he’s back."

[The scumbag’s back?]

[Battle stations!]

[Let’s fight, sisters!]

Jenny went to open the door. Renee, who was standing behind her, had her phone on a lanyard around her neck to make sure the viewers wouldn’t miss a single moment.

Carson Larkin was startled to find Jenny at home, but a gentle smile quickly spread across his face. "Jenny, didn’t you say you were going out with friends today?"

Jenny’s hands, hanging by her sides, clenched into tight fists. She suppressed her fury and replied, "I brought my friends home with me."

Carson Larkin’s gaze shifted to Renee, a flash of stunned admiration in his eyes. He feigned calmness and asked, "Is this your friend?"

[The scumbag’s Adam’s apple bobbed when he looked at the camera. Disgusting!]

[What a creep!]

Jenny: "Yep, I have a few friends over today. You don’t mind, do you?"

"Why would I?" Carson Larkin looked at her with a doting expression. "As long as you’re happy, anything goes."

[Gag!]

[Damn, this guy is way too smooth!]

Normally, Jenny would have been so touched she would have thrown her arms around him, stood on her tiptoes to give him a kiss, and praised him for being so wonderful.

But today, she just smirked, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Wow, you’re just so nice."

Carson Larkin froze for a moment, looking at her in confusion. "Jenny?"

"Come on in, Ashton," Jenny urged him. "I’ll introduce you to my other friends."

Carson Larkin thought he was just being paranoid. "Coming," he said with a smile.

But when he saw the other two women in the living room, the smile on his face froze, his eyes filled with utter shock.

’How could they be here...?’

Jenny smiled as she introduced them. "Ashton, this is Wendy, Rice Cake, and Michelle."

Carson Larkin stood frozen to the spot, a cold sweat breaking out on his back. His eyes darted around nervously.

"Wendy, Rice Cake, this is my boyfriend, Carson Larkin." Jenny dragged his rigid body to stand in front of them.

Wendy Griffin and Rice Cake both stared at Carson Larkin with frowns.

"Ashton, why aren’t you saying hello to my friends?" Jenny shook his arm. "Ashton?"

Wendy Griffin stepped forward and, without a word, slapped Carson Larkin across the face.

[So satisfying!]

[Ahhh, that felt good!]

After Wendy Griffin slapped him, Rice Cake stepped up and slapped his other cheek.

Jenny was secretly delighted but put on a shocked expression. "What’s the meaning of this? Why are you hitting Ashton?"

[Hahaha, Jenny can barely suppress her smile.]

[Jenny, you’ve had professional training! Don’t laugh!]

[Isn’t this better than watching a scripted drama??? This is amazing! Follow the host for more blockbusters like this!]

"Ask him!" Wendy Griffin said coldly. "Carson Larkin, you’d better give us an explanation!"

Rice Cake added furiously, "I can’t believe you’re this kind of person!"

[Sleepy Senior’s acting is the best!]

[Even when she’s mad, Rice Cake is so adorable with those big eyes...]

Carson Larkin’s heart was pounding in panic, his mind a chaotic mess.

He never imagined this day would come—all the fish in his pond had actually run into each other!

"Wendy, listen to me, this is all a misunderstanding." Carson Larkin looked at Wendy Griffin, reaching out to take her hand. "Let’s go downstairs. I promise I’ll explain everything clearly, okay?"

Michelle Fuller asked, still snacking on her sunflower seeds, "Why are you only in a hurry to explain things to Wendy and not the other two?"

"Is it because Wendy is the best catch of the three?" Renee added calmly.
