The Villain Has Something to Say

There were altogether four nations in the Yun State, namely Cheng Chong Kingdom, Luo Xuan Kingdom, Ming Shen State and Zhao Ti Kingdom.

Cheng Chong was the most powerful kingdom among the four, taking up half of the land in the Yun State. The other three would pay tribute to it for protection. There was no strong cultivation sect on this land, so a lot of minor sects sprang out here, who outlined the sphere of their influence and plundered resources from those kingdoms.

Each sect would send a plenipotentiary to act as the Prime Minister of the kingdoms.

As the strongest one, Cheng Chong Kingdom paid tribute to all four sects every year, so it had four Prime Ministers.

However, ordinary people didn’t care about those deity-level affairs. They just started work at day break and retired at sunset. For hundreds of years, they just lived in this peaceful circle with the elder, seldomly confronting big troubles.

Right now, in a small town on the border of Cheng Chong kingdom, the annual temple fair was in full swing. A lot of young men and women wore their new clothes and came here. Ladies were wearing the finest jade hairpin, while the gentlemen were chanting poetry and painting pictures on teahouse, waving silk fans gracefully. Once a lady’s pleasure boat stopped, they would raise their voices, making everyone laugh out.

The bring and clean moon was hanging on the sky, casting its velvety light on everything. The clear moonlight, the well-illuminated town, all of these seemed brilliant and pleasant. As the boats moved through the river, the faint sound of oars and elegant smalls of ladies made the night even more charming.

A gentleman in white was quite drunk, staggering to the riverside. He lost his balance, nearly fell into the water.

Within a blink, a soft hand held him. He raised his head and saw a beautiful lady wearing a veil, who was gazing at him. Her eyes, as attractive as the crescent moon, indicated her smiling. She said gently, “Be careful, gentleman. Don’t fall into the water.”

The gentleman felt a little bit nervous and hurried nodded.

As her boat moved away, ripples quivered around it. He looked at the handkerchief in his hand, noticing a simple but elegant character “Fang” on its corner. The character was embroidered on the handkerchief, making him quite happy.

It was the custom of the town-if a lady had a crash on a man in the temple fair, she could give him the handkerchief embroidered with her family name. If the man also fell in love with her, he could go to her home and propose a marriage with that handkerchief.

The moon was so bright today, and more and more stars began to shine like fireballs, which were getting larger. The gentleman gazed at the seemingly falling stars and he already could imagine the day after when he came to her family and proposed.

What sort of a lady was she?

Her voice was so soft, her behavior so demure and her eyes so beautiful.

When countless horrible fireballs hit the ground, the gentleman was chased of by numerous hideous monsters. When he hid on a boat by the river, he saw her eyes again.

Her eyes, used to be as attractive as the crescent moon when she was smiling, were now fixed on the bow frightenedly. She was impaled by a wood spike from the back, and her eyes were full of fear, desperation, regret and dread.

Her soft, shy voice was still ringing in his ears-

Be careful, gentleman. Don’t fall into the water.”

The drunk gentleman goggled at the scene. The handkerchief in his chest was “burning”, making him angry and eager to revenge. He cried out and rushed out of the boat with red eyes. Before the wood stick in his hand touched the monster, the demon’s sickle claw had cut his head open.

Before the temple fair ended, the small town had been devoured by flame.

Cheng Chong Kingdom was subjugated within a day.

It was the largest kingdom in the Yun State, blessed by the ocean, protected by four Prime Ministers and guarded by the elite soldiers. However, just within a day, twelve of the thirty-seven sectors ran away, only twenty-five of them swore to fight until death. In this battle, tens of thousands of demons were killed. However, when one was down, ten of them would take his place.

All three thousand six hundred and eighteen cultivators in Cheng Chong Kingdom died. The battlefield flowed with rivers of blood, with no survival in the kingdom.

Demons were madly slaughtering the residents in the nation, where flesh, blood and bones could be seen everywhere.

Before the demons broke through the capital, the emperor went to the ancestral shrine. He knelt down and wrote an Edict of Introspection, then stroke his head against the ground to death. The ministers also followed him and kept kowtowing, with seventy-right of them dead.

That day, thirteen million one hundred and twenty-nine thousand eight hundred and forty-six people were killed.

The message shocked the Gui Yuan Sect in the Cen State. They immediately sent cultivators to the Yun State. The Fiend Palace which was just separated by the Yun State by a river also heard this sensational tragedy. Countless Fiend Cultivators confirmed the toll repeatedly with disbelief. When they knew that no one survived in Cheng Chong Kingdom, even the Fiend Cultivator who had killed tens of thousands of people denounced, “Demon, you go too far this time!”

Just as the Fiend Cultivators prepared to go to the Yun State, demons landed at the Thirteenth Ocean.

Countless demons blotted out the sky and covered up the earth, while thousands of Fiend Cultivators hurried to the front, forming a strong tide. Some of them ran away against the tide, yet no one stopped them.

In half of a day, the Fiend Cultivators blocked demons out of the Fiend Realm.

Currently, there were nine hundred and twelve Fiend Cultivators, but tens of thousands of demons!
