The Ultimate Evolution

Before the Divine Servant could even react to the continuous damage of ‘Holy Grasp’, Kulutego had already smashed down with a spiked stone mace. Even in such a situation, he could still react by blocking with his right hand, while his left wrist flipped in the air, apparently intending to retrieve a weapon.

But how could Sheyan, who was watching him closely, give him the chance?

A long-ready ‘Uppercut’ struck the Divine Servant right on the chin!!

The Divine Servant was immediately sent flying by the punch and landed heavily on the ground after a few flips. Zi’s second chant concluded then. The illusionary image of a giant black finger sunk into the spot between the Divine Servant’s eyebrows. The nail on the finger, sharp as a beast’s claw, suddenly dug out with force!

‘Force.Needle Explosion’!

This blow continued to keep the Divine Servant’s body in a stiff state and his mind in a stunned state. He could only watch as the cyclops violently smashed its huge mace down him. The MT was also furiously swiping a weapon shaped like a beast’s claws, tearing away flesh from his body, although he could not feel any pain presently.

He could not even lift a finger from the moment the fight started. This was something that had never happened to him before.

In the reformed mind of the Divine Servant, his own life was secondary to issuing a warning! The Evil Sword Apophis that he was carrying must not be lost! He must notify his master as soon as possible!

He did ask his master why he did not carry something as important as the Evil Sword Apophis personally. His master answered that it was because his power came from the fringes, or more precisely, the loopholes in the rules of the Realms, so it was something that should be kept hidden. Once it was combined with something like Apophis, a weapon that also walked along the edges of the rules of Realms, it would inevitably attract the attention of multiple Realms eventually.

Therefore, not only must his master not carry the Evil Sword Apophis with him, they should not even be in each other’s vicinity for a prolonged period. Fortunately, his master had a really powerful ability. As long as the Divine Servant could send a warning to his master, everything would be fine. Based on past experiences, the longest his master would need to get to him was 37 seconds, and the shortest was 8 seconds!

The Divine Servant harboured no thoughts of defending or attacking at all in his mind. He was only trying with all his might to bend his thumb so that it could touch the middle joint of his pinky finger. Such a simple little action would send a warning to his master. In this moment, it was the only meaning of his existence.

However, right when the Divine Servant felt that his paralysis was finally fading away, he saw the man who had just knocked him away with a punch pull out a silver gun! The gun suddenly emitted a holy power which seeped into his body, as if it was trying to squeeze every last drop of hidden evil out of him.

Then, a dense milky-white light shot out of the gun, and that detestable feeling of paralysis once again returned to the Divine Servant’s body!

What could be done in five seconds?

Zi could cast an instantaneous spell, then chant the spell for ‘Force.Collision Wall’ which had a three-second cast time.

Reef could leave three deep wounds on the enemy’s body with his steel claws.

If Mogensha were still alive, he could have showered the enemy with at least fifty rounds of bullets.

Kulutego could let his stone mace make two intimate contacts with the enemy’s head.

Sheyan, on the other hand, could use the ability he had just acquired, one he had never used before.

‘Ultimate Impact’!

Thanks to Rocky’s information on Bind, Sheyan knew that Bind had an ability to swiftly come to the aid of the Divine Servant. In view of that, he had no intention of letting the Divine Servant regain control of his body in this fight!!

The moment Sheyan activated ‘Ultimate Impact’, he instantly felt his blood boiling.

‘Ultimate Impact’ was an attack which accumulated all his pain, joy, sorrow and delight, then compressed them together into a single burst of power!

Sheyan’s right fist slowly pulled back, just like a bow that was slowly drawn to its limit!

After that, a clear, striking flash of light could be seen. Sheyan’s fist punched out with a bang. The punch could only be described in one way:

Simple, yet lightning fast!

The force in this punch had been heightened to the limit, like the climax of a soprano piece. It seemed as if it could even shatter fate itself!

Like a heavy tank driven at the speed of an F1 car, it went crashing towards its target with terrifying force and speed, seeking only to produce the most powerful impact.

It accelerated forward resolutely, unstoppable like a crashing waterfall. Not even the person who launched the punch could stop it now.

Sheyan had packed all his anger and pain into this punch, letting everything out!

ULTIMATE

IMPACT!!!

The fist landed on the chest of the Divine Servant, right on the spot where he had been punctured by Rocky’s Gungnir! The injury had yet to heal, and it now had to sustain yet another attack, an attack that came crashing into it like an avalanche! The fist actually penetrated deep into the Divine Servant’s chest, and then burst out from his back! Blood gushed out like a fountain, carrying with it fragments of broken bones!

The horrifying 800 points of true damage was indeed as crazy and violent as one would expect.

But a mysterious smile surprisingly appeared on the Divine Servant’s face, despite the severe injury. That was because he was starting to regain some sensations in his limbs. He was, after all, a fanatic who was willing to die, as long as he could issue a warning to his master. This matter was more important than his life!

The Divine Servant’s thumb was already moving towards his little finger, but at that instant, Reef came crashing down from the sky like a giant meteorite. He slammed into the ground violently, dust billowing. A dark gold shock wave spread from where he landed to once again paralyse the Divine Servant.

The ability on his dark gold boots — ‘Frog Leap’! It enabled Reef to jump 5~30 meters away and produce a shock wave upon landing which could stun nearby enemies for 4 seconds.

These precious four seconds of stun meant that the Divine Servant’s thumb was doomed to never be able to touch the skin on his little finger, even though it was mere millimeters away!

Sheyan took a deep breath as he watched the Divine Servant be submerged in magic spells, Reef’s long claws and Kulutego’s stone mace. Sheyan was determined to be the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

Within the darkness of the night, sounds of friction came from Sheyan’s shoes. Sheyan’s bare feet broke through the shoes and burrowed knee-deep into the ground like the roots of a tree. A large number of cracks radiated in all directions with Sheyan at the centre. Even the high-rise buildings nearby were slightly trembling!

Sheyan raised both his hands. The shadow behind him turned into an illusion of the ‘Stairway of the Sun’, its tendrils dancing wildly in the air. Melody, who was fighting with Jakaya in the distance, could not help turning back to stare at Sheyan in amazement. The aura Sheyan was exuding at the moment gave her a contradictory feeling of both terror and delight.

Then, the ‘Beast of Corrosion’ came flying out.

The ‘Beast of Corrosion’ this time took on the form of a miniature ‘Stairway of the Sun’. As soon as it dug into the wound on the Divine Servant’s chest, it extended a large number of tendrils which drilled deep into every part of his body!

An intense light glowed at that moment. The Divine Servant’s body became transparent like it was being X-rayed. They could now see that his bones were actually made of steel, each one vivid and delicate. The Black Crystal Skull was also visible.

More terrifying was that there were actually some naturally-formed wrinkles on the surface of the brain inside his head. Together, they formed a line of text: “Bayonet: Brain Clone No. 11”!

This anomaly lasted only a few seconds before it went away.

The Black Crystal Skull was still suspended in mid-air. A fracture suddenly appeared in the empty space, as if something extremely sharp had sliced through the barrier of time and space. It instantly swallowed the Black Crystal Skull. Cracks started appearing on the rest of the Divine Servant’s body, like it was porcelain. The body broke into fragments, then turned to ashes.

A gust of wind blew past. The ashes dispersed and completely disappeared from this world.

Sheyan finally heaved a sigh of relief. Party Ace may have been attacking fiercely and seem like they had the upper hand, but that would not last forever. The opponent was clearly just waiting for an opportunity to pounce. He was like a compressed spring — the harder a spring was compressed, the stronger the rebound would be. If they were unable to kill him before he recovered, they may very well become the prey instead.

By killing the Divine Servant, they were finally able to vent a bit of their frustration! From how much the guy called Bind cared about the Divine Servant, they knew that the Divine Servant must have something important on him. Whatever it was, it had now been reduced to ashes along with the Divine Servant himself. This would no doubt be a brutal stab in Bind’s heart!

Since both sides were already past the point of no return, this brutal stab in Bind’s heart naturally gave Sheyan endless joy.

By this time, Melody had already chased Jakaya two blocks away. The rest of the party quickly jumped into another car to go to her aid. When the engine roared to life, Sheyan vaguely heard a clink, as if something had fallen down. He did not pay much attention to it. With a step on the pedal, the car accelerated away.
