Ling Feng nodded slightly. "So, this Abyss of the Netherworld might truly have fragments of the God of Oblivion’s divinity? And your organization head wants to absorb the fragments to become the new God of Oblivion?"
"It might be so, but only the leader knows the detailed plan; I’m not sure!" The man in the cloak cautiously looked at Ling Feng and said, "I’ve disclosed everything I know; I’m not hiding anything!"
Ling Feng nodded. "I know, but since the Shrine has already eliminated the God of Oblivion, it means there’s no need for him to exist anymore. Now, someone wants to collect the God of Oblivion’s divinity while the Twelve Main Gods have yet to appear—interesting!"
"By the way, what’s your name?" Ling Feng asked the cloaked man.
"My name is Wan Hu. Our organization is called Null, and the leader is a masked man known as Dark Owl," Wan Hu said.
Ling Feng nodded slightly. He initially thought helping Yu Rujiao’s tribe fight for a habitat was enough, but unexpectedly, someone is trying to collect the God of Oblivion’s divinity behind the scenes.

Yu Rujiao is a Temple Envoy, and also a Divine Servant under the Hall of the War God’s command, belonging to Ling Feng’s faction.
"Yes, my lord!" Yu Rujiao replied solemnly, then left with Shi Yue.

After they parted, Ling Feng chuckled. "Who is this fellow? His strength is quite good!"
"He goes by Leng Yi; his skills are similar to mine—one of the leader’s favored ones!" Wan Hu whispered. "He manages an area for power consolidation faster than I do, hence his arrogance."
Ling Feng chuckled lightly. "I can tell; he acts condescendingly. Is your leader at the mountain peak?"
"Yes!"

Moments later, Wan Hu had led Ling Feng to the very top.
"How’s your task going, Wan Hu?" A deep voice issued, its owner seated at the highest point of the mountain, speaking with his back turned to Wan Hu.
Wan Hu didn’t respond, having reached here meant his task was accomplished.
"Why aren’t you speaking?" The man turned, spotting Wan Hu obediently standing behind another man.
The masked man was astounded, as he couldn’t sense Ling Feng’s presence. When did he climb up?
"Who are you?" Dark Owl said cautiously.
Ling Feng chuckled lightly. "No need to be so nervous. Someone aspiring to become the God of Oblivion shouldn’t be so timid!"
"Wan Hu, you revealed our plans?" Dark Owl’s voice was low and tinged with anger.
Wan Hu paled for a moment but quickly eased. Even with Dark Owl’s great power, he hadn’t refined a divine status and couldn’t possibly challenge the War God.
"War God, I’ve confessed everything and cooperated entirely with your actions; please, grant me a way out!" Wan Hu pleaded.
Ling Feng waved. "Alright, you may leave. I, the War God, won’t go back on my word. Since you’ve helped me find this place, I won’t hold you accountable. Go!"
Wan Hu left joyfully.
"War God?" Dark Owl’s expression was solemn. "The Twelve Main Gods have perished; before, only the Goddess of Victory and the God of Plague resumed position. Unexpectedly, the War God appeared so quickly; it seems I must accelerate my pace!"
"You’re out of opportunities!" Ling Feng stated calmly. "The God of Oblivion shouldn’t exist in this world. You’re delusional in desiring to refine the God of Oblivion’s divine status!"
"Existence justifies itself! Since the God of Oblivion once existed, it implies he has a purpose!" Dark Owl replied seriously. "And I aim to unearth that purpose!"
