Chapter 2210 - 2207: Conquering the Demon Dragon
Chapter 2210: Chapter 2207: Conquering the Demon Dragon
"Awesome!" the Goddess of War shouted excitedly, also a bit shocked. The strength of the Wind God of War, Ling Feng, was indeed formidable. Just relying on physical strength to halt the charging Abyssal Demon Dragon was truly extraordinary!
No wonder he could absorb the Vital Energy here without being affected by the Corrosive Qi of Darkness. With such physical prowess, perhaps even the Corrosive Qi of Darkness got absorbed by him!
But now wasn’t the time to think about this. The Goddess of War approached the Abyssal Demon Dragon and said loftily, "I am the Goddess of War, submit to me!"
Immense Divine Power enveloped and pressed down on the Abyssal Demon Dragon. It felt this overwhelming Divine Power but did not submit, instead assuming a stance of resistance.
"As expected of the King of the Abyss of the Netherworld, truly stubborn!" the Goddess of War said with a smile. "In that case, why don’t we have a battle? If you win, I’ll let you go, ensuring the safety of you and your child, but if I win, you’ll become my divine beast chariot, submitting to me, how about it?"
The Abyssal Demon Dragon growled lowly, its eyes turning. A deep voice then echoed, "Do you really mean it?"
"Do I have any reason to deceive you?" the Goddess of War said calmly, "I am one of the Twelve Main Gods of the Chaos God Temple, the Goddess of War, and the one who repelled you is a God of War of the same level as me. We have no need to deceive you. If you truly wish to protect your child, you have to trust us!"
The Abyssal Demon Dragon took a deep breath, "Alright, I believe you. I accept, but if I win, you must let me go!"
"It’s a deal!" the Goddess of War chuckled, and then with a flash of golden light, a towering banner appeared in her hand.
War Banner? Ling Feng’s heart stirred. Was this huge banner the War Banner of the Goddess of War? Sure enough, it exuded a powerful Divine Power.
"War’s Pressure!" the Goddess of War shouted in a deep voice. From the War Banner, a golden cloud materialized, appearing above the Abyssal Demon Dragon’s head, exerting tremendous pressure upon it.
Roar! The Abyssal Demon Dragon roared in anger, a massive black Energy Ball forming in its mouth, brimming with the Force of Destruction.
"Roar Bullet!" After a furious roar, the massive black Energy Ball shot towards the golden cloud, but was swallowed by the golden cloud without causing any significant ripples.
The Abyssal Demon Dragon’s expression changed. Its attack had no effect on her; how could this be? This was its home turf!
"Your Roar Bullet is powerful, but my War Banner is a Chaotic Divine Artifact. You have no hope of winning!" the Goddess of War smiled slightly, "War Elements, ice, fire, thunder!"
Boom, boom, boom, around the Abyssal Demon Dragon appeared three enormous Elemental Puppets: an Ice Elemental Warrior, a Fire Elemental Warrior, and a Thunder Elemental Warrior!
Each of them possessed power not inferior to that of the Immortal Realm. Soon, the Abyssal Demon Dragon was captured by the Goddess of War.
"Admit defeat!" the Goddess of War said calmly, "Though you are the King of the Abyss of the Netherworld, unafraid of the aura of the Main God, the power of the Main God is not something you can resist!"
The Abyssal Demon Dragon struggled fiercely a few times but could not break free from the restraints of the Elemental Warriors, showing a hint of despair.
Defeated, truly defeated! Even in the Abyss of the Netherworld, causing storms, it was no match for the Main God!
"I admit defeat. I can become your divine beast, but I have one request!" the Abyssal Demon Dragon said in a deep voice.
"Speak, what is your request?" the Goddess of War asked.
"I want to send my child back to Deadwater Lake, only there it can grow smoothly!" the Abyssal Demon Dragon said in a deep voice. "I can become your divine beast, but my child absolutely cannot!"
The Goddess of War nodded, "That’s not an issue. I’m not interested in your child either."
With that, the Goddess of War squeezed out a drop of blood, which fell on the Abyssal Demon Dragon’s forehead. The blood transformed into a mysterious pattern, and then the Abyssal Demon Dragon transformed into a woman over two meters tall, holding a sleeping child in her arms.
"Such a cute little fellow!" the Goddess of War couldn’t help but say as she looked at the child in the woman’s arms, "What’s his name?"
The woman was taken aback, "Name? Our Abyssal Demon Dragon Clan doesn’t have names!"
"How can that be possible? This won’t do; he must have a name in the future, and so must you!" the Goddess of War said seriously, "Why don’t you be called Alison, and your child Aidoya, how about that?"
Alison? A flicker appeared in the Dragon Lady’s eyes, but quickly vanished, "I obey the master’s orders!"
"Alright then, Alison. Let’s send your child to Deadwater Lake first. But I’ve always been curious, where exactly does the bottom of Deadwater Lake lead to, and why nobody but the Abyssal Demon Dragons can enter without getting trapped?"
"I don’t know either. I only know that at the bottom of Deadwater Lake, there are two huge black holes. One constantly sucks the water from the lake in, while the other continuously releases water, maintaining the lake’s water level!"
"But apart from our Abyssal Demon Dragon Clan, any other creature approaching any black hole would be swallowed by it. We have no idea what’s going on either!"
"Lake bottom black holes?" the eyes of the Goddess of War lit up, "Ling Feng, did you hear that? There are two black holes at the bottom of the lake. How about we go down and take a look?"
Ling Feng resolutely refused, "No, I’m not particularly interested in it. If you want to check it out, do it yourself! Anyway, I’ve helped you subdued the Abyssal Demon Dragon, that’s enough for me!"
"Such a dull man!" the Goddess of War said, a bit displeased.
Ling Feng just smiled; the mysteriousness of Deadwater Lake’s bottom black holes meant he wouldn’t willingly plunge himself into trouble. After all, once this was settled, he needed to prepare to return to Earth. What if trapped by some black hole? There’s no point in looking for trouble!
Seeing Ling Feng’s firm stance, the Goddess of War didn’t insist. Anyway, today’s task was completed, and she was satisfied.
After Alison returned her child to Deadwater Lake, the child transformed into an Abyssal Demon Dragon again. He glanced back at Alison before diving deep into the lake.
"Don’t look so distraught; you’ll have a chance to return in the future!" the Goddess of War said lightly, "Becoming my divine beast doesn’t mean being imprisoned for life!"
"Yes, Master!" Alison said with a hint of gratitude.
