Chapter 1850 Today, This Path is Blocked

Chapter 1850: Today, This Path is Blocked Chapter 1850: Today, This Path is Blocked Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation The top 100 demons had to stay.  With a swift motion, he drew out an ancient sword and channeled his immense power into it, fully awakening the sword’s sharpness and artifact spirit.

He shouted, “Wake up!” Whoosh!

The sword emitted a loud hum.  A green-robed man emerged from the sword, his expression cold and solemn.  He was the artifact spirit, and his aura was particularly intimidating—about 30% stronger than Isildur’s.  This artifact spirit had grasped the meaning of transcendence, having once served a master who was on the verge of transcending.

“The awakening of our ancestral weapon coincides with a demon invasion of our race.

Please seal this place with the race artifacts!” Isildur said solemnly.

“Demon race?” The green-robed artifact spirit’s eyes flashed with cold light.  The ancestral weapons had slain at least half of the experts in their time.

“Please use your race weapon to suppress the four directions!” Isildur said, cupping his hands.

“Today, it’s not just about suppressing the four directions!” The green-robed artifact spirit’s presence intensified.  The sword embedded in the sky shone with brilliant light as it declared, “Seal the sky, lock the earth, and trap all living beings!” As soon as he finished speaking, the seven ancient swords unleashed a fierce power.

The human race’s 23 stellar realms were now under siege by the demon race.  The seven ancient swords were all pseudo eon artifacts.  A peak figure of the demon race, a mythical guardian lion, revealed its true form, covering the sky and roaring like thunder, “All of you peaks, retreat!” But it was too late!

The seven treasures, comparable to eon artifacts, sealed off this section of the sky.  Not even those at the peak or beings who had comprehended the path of transcendence could enter or leave.  Only an eon artifact or someone with true transcendence could break through.  Otherwise, they would all perish today!

This part of the starry sky was sealed!

The ancient sword released its aura, slicing through the stars as if cutting grass.  None of the demon creatures, whether gods or weaker demons, could escape death.  The killing trap had been set and was now fully operational.  No peak demon could escape.

“You’re courting death!” From the distant core area of the demon race, a furious roar echoed from the ancient palace.

“Race Artifact, tear the void and bring them back!” “All peak demons, move out!” The orders revealed the demons’ rage.  They hadn’t anticipated such audacity from the human race.  The one who had secretly set up the formation was incredibly bold, aiming to wipe out a top 100 demon race expert in one battle.

Such a significant loss was beyond what even the demons could endure.  Losing the top 100 would severely weaken the demon race, and with chaos on the horizon, the consequences of losing so many peak experts would be unpredictable and terrifying.  No one could foresee the full impact.

Some old demons of the demon race mobilized to attack the human race’s 23 stellar realms.  However, as they moved out, a green bull appeared over the abandoned ancient battlefield.

The green bull carried an old Daoist and wandered through the starry sky like a leisurely cloud.  As the old demon sensed a great danger, he was startled and angry.  Transforming into his human form, he confronted the Daoist with cold, vertical eyes.

“Who is it?” “Human, Humberto Cobb,” the old Daoist replied calmly.

The old demon had never heard of him and, with pressing matters at hand, didn’t linger.  He attacked fiercely.  This old fellow was a mutated beast, the ancient soaring bird.  Its wings were blood-red, spreading out to cover the stars.  The shadow of its main body loomed behind it, exuding terrifying pressure.

A peak expert!

The old Daoist said, patting the green bull’s head with calm composure, “How many years has it been since you’ve tasted blood?” “Don’t you know that for at least 30 million years, you’ve been making me eat grass every day?” The green bull spoke with the gruffness of an old troublemaker.

As the old demon attacked, the green bull opened its mouth and began swallowing the starry sky.  Within a million miles, several small stars were engulfed along with the soaring bird, all sucked into its stomach.  The dramatic scene left the demon experts arriving behind feeling shocked, angry, and a bit frightened.

Who was this green bull?

He was terrifying!

The old Daoist clasped his hands and said calmly, “Today, this path is blocked.

Please return!” His words acted as a barricade, as he aimed to use his own strength to stop the demons from coming to the rescue.

He was overly confident!

An old fox with a white beard muttered, “The human race has had its glory, but I’ve never heard of Humberto Cobb before.

However, I do know that 90 million years ago, there was a sect at the peak of the human race.

Its disciples were all geniuses.

But in the last generation, they raised an ungrateful person.” “The Humbert Cobb who betrayed the sect?” “He’s still alive?!” A voice from the crowd was filled with shock.  The old Daoist, wearing cloth shoes and looking calm, raised his hand and struck down, killing the old fox with the white beard.  As his palm landed, nearby stars shattered.  The old fox’s body exploded into a bloody mist.

The sheer power of the old Daoist intimidated many demon experts.  It was clear he didn’t appreciate hearing about the past.

The white-bearded old fox, severely injured, fled, saying, “Don’t provoke him.

Let’s go!” Who would dare to provoke someone so close to transcending?

It was clear now that the human race had powerful experts.  Before facing a disaster, experts would always emerge.  Over a hundred old demons turned and left, not daring to press on.  A man and a green bull blocked the path, and the old monsters chose to cross the void to avoid the Daoist and the green bull.

They intended to use the array platform to cross the border and enter human territory.  The black array platform was covered in dense runes.

On the other side, a peak expert was backing them up.  The passageway to the platform was established.  The old fellows all transformed into human forms and stepped into the teleportation passage.  As soon as they entered, the passage shook slightly—not from an attack, but because their combined cultivation was so immense that the spatial passage could barely withstand it.  But no one paid it any mind.  Even if the passage shattered, it wouldn’t harm them.  They only needed the passageway and the coordinates.

All the 100 peaks entered within a few seconds.

Swoosh!

A terrifying spear light tore through the sky and earth, severing all connections in the starry sky.  The 100 demon experts were forcibly expelled from the passageway into the outside world.

Nearby, a path-comprehension tree rooted in the universe stood.  Beneath it sat a black-robed youth with an unkempt beard.  His eyes were closed, and he held a wine bottle.  Beside him was a long spear gleaming with a cold light.  A little purple squirrel hopped around him.  It was a peaceful and inviting scene.

“Today, this path is blocked!” the stubbly young man said without opening his eyes.

“Damn it, who are you?!” An old man with antlers, still retaining the traits of his original form, was filled with murderous intent.  His anger was palpable at having his path blocked repeatedly.

The white-bearded old fox’s face went pale.  Having just been severely injured, he barely managed to consolidate his body to sustain his soul.  He glanced at the old tree and then at the purple squirrel, gasping, “Northern Cosmos Spear?”
