The Strongest War God

Chapter 1832 Honest and Genuine

Chapter 1832: Honest and Genuine Chapter 1832: Honest and Genuine Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation “Palace Master Neal, please make yourself at home!” The Divine Origin Palace’s palace master and the others were accustomed to this kind of recruitment process.  Unless a truly world-shaking talent appeared, they wouldn’t show up.

Braydon Neal didn’t put on any airs.  He moved like a white shadow through the air, and no one dared to stop him.  All the young people looked up with reverence.  It was because of the royal robe he wore—the robe of a palace master.  As one of the ten palace masters, he was a supreme figure to the participants and one of the rulers of the divine palace with core power.  Catching his eye could mean a chance to rise to great heights.

Braydon’s gaze was sharp.  Wherever his eyes fell, he made an evaluation of those he saw, until he came across a 12-year-old youth.  The youth wore beast clothes and wielded a crude iron piece as a weapon.  His attacks were not refined; he relied on sheer brute force to defeat his opponents.

In an instant, Braydon had arrived.  He stood on a tree with his hands behind his back, observing the battle.  There were at least three elders from different palaces around.

“Palace Master Neal!” The three elders were startled by his arrival.  They all bowed and saluted.

“I like this kid!” Braydon remarked.

“Then we’ll take our leave!” The three elders laughed bitterly.  In the entire divine palace, who would dare to challenge Braydon?  Not even the nine palace masters would dare.

As the battle continued, the three youths surrounded and attacked the beast-robed youth.  They soon noticed Braydon’s presence—a palace master of the divine palace had actually descended here.  The three youths, eager to impress, tried their best, but even together they struggled to subdue the beast-robed youth.

The young man fought like a wild beast, charging forward and overpowering the three opponents until they were coughing up blood and retreating.

“Not bad, you’re a promising candidate.

How old are you?” Braydon stepped into the arena and released his aura, sending the three opponents flying.

“Who are you?” the beast-robed youth asked warily, gripping his metal piece tightly.

“Are you here to fight me too?” “I’m from the divine palace,” Braydon replied with a chuckle.  He hadn’t expected the youth not to recognize the palace master’s robe, which suggested they came from a very remote area.

The youth sighed with relief.  Though his tone was a bit childish, it was filled with determination.

“My name is Mylo Acton.

I’m twelve years old and I’m from the Lamape Tribe in the Blontt Mountain Range!” The surrounding elders were taken aback.  What a find!  A twelve-year-old true god from such a remote place in the divine realm, where major factions were almost nonexistent.  The region was home to various large tribes leading primitive lives, without access to sophisticated cultivation methods.  Yet, he had reached the true god realm at just twelve.  With a few more years, he could potentially become a heavenly god by eighteen.  His future potential was limitless, and he already had the bearing of a god king!

The nine palace masters were instantly intrigued and dropped their pretenses, arriving swiftly and eyeing him like a prized find.  When the other elders saw this, no one dared to compete.

“Why do you want to join the divine palace?” Braydon asked casually.

“There are beautiful girls in the divine palace,” the beast-robed youth answered bluntly.

“If we bring them back to the tribe, they can give birth to strong children!” “Tell me the truth!” Braydon’s mouth twitched at the strange reason.  Joining the divine palace to find a woman?

At just twelve years old?

The youth added, “The divine palace can also provide food!” “Hmm?” Braydon looked at him.  Wrapped in beast skin, with unkempt hair and bare feet, the youth’s living conditions must have been extremely harsh.  His body was also covered in scars.

They were all scars from demon beast claws!

“This is your last chance.

Tell me the truth!” Braydon pressed.  He needed to know why the youth wanted to join the divine palace, and this was his final opportunity.

Garvie Nantz appeared quickly, noting how rare it was for his master to be so patient.  It seemed Braydon valued this beast-robed youth highly.  He couldn’t help but add, “In the divine palace, Master is the leader of the ten palace masters!” “Really?” The youth’s eyes brightened at the news.

“You have one chance left,” Braydon said softly.

The youth replied sincerely, “If I join the divine palace and become an inner disciple, the divine palace will reward my tribe with many resources.

Then, my people won’t have to worry about food!” His simple and honest demeanor made his tone seem genuine.

Braydon laughed in frustration and said, “I have a little fool beside me who seems honest and sincere on the outside but is actually full of tricks.

You’re the same type of person!” It was clear Braydon believed the youth was not being truthful.  The reason for this suspicion was simple: this beast-robed youth had grown up in a harsh environment, and his primary goal had likely been survival.

In the Blontt Mountain Range, where beasts and god emperors roamed, it was extremely tough for human cultivators to survive.  The youth’s numerous scars spoke of a life filled with hostility and struggle.  His true motivations were likely buried deep within.

The beast-robed youth fell silent, not expecting the seemingly peer-aged Braydon to be so probing.  He was struggling to answer why he wanted to join the divine palace.

“Joining the divine palace for revenge?” Braydon suddenly asked.

“Hmm?” The youth’s eyes flickered with panic, betraying his inexperience.

Braydon chose not to press further.

Instead, he said, “Join the Northern Palace.

I’ll teach you!” “Palace Master Neal, the divine palace has always been open and respects every contestant.

He’s free to choose his own palace!” The Divine Origin Palace’s palace master was reluctant.  A talent like this one would be a regret to lose if he didn’t fight for it.

“The palaces will compete fairly,” Braydon said indifferently.

“Little fellow, if you join the Divine Origin Palace, with your talent, you might even inherit my position in the future.

Do you understand?” The Divine Origin Palace’s palace master’s offer was tempting.  The position of palace master was above everyone else and held the core authority of the palace.  It was truly impressive.

But to the beast-robed youth, none of this mattered much.  Those who grew up constantly facing death weren’t easily swayed by prestige; they cared more about immediate benefits.

Braydon could easily guess that the beast-robed youth had likely done whatever it took to survive in the Blontt Mountain Range.  In such a harsh environment, kindness often means becoming prey for the demon beasts.

Thus, Braydon remained calm, allowing the nine palace masters to make their pitches.

The beast-robed youth, annoyed by the show of offers, turned to Braydon and showed his true colors.

“They’ve offered all kinds of conditions to recruit me.

Why aren’t you saying anything?” “The opportunities for all beings are different.

It’s up to you to choose,” Braydon said, admiring the youth’s straightforwardness.
