The Strongest War God

Chapter 1816 The Arrival of Ebbe Cortsen

Chapter 1816: The Arrival of Ebbe Cortsen Chapter 1816: The Arrival of Ebbe Cortsen Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation “Is there a hole in your head?” Loki Foreman asked, eyeing Deacon Iversen with suspicion as he wiped a smear of blood from the corner of his mouth.  He had used the ninth blade move and injured himself, but the invincible aura around him remained unchanged.

Deacon Iversen replied calmly, “One of your slashes cut through my vital Qi.

Though this is our first meeting, we can consider ourselves friends.

To witness such a monstrous strike and experience it firsthand, I consider myself fortunate.” Loki rolled his eyes.  This guy was still cheerful despite being beaten up—clearly not normal.

Deacon Iversen looked at Loki seriously and said, “Young cultivator, I represent the divine palace in extending a formal invitation for you to join us.

As for your earlier question about surpassing the heavenly god realm within 5,000 years, I can assure you that with your talent, you will certainly make significant breakthroughs.

Whether it’s reaching the ancient god realm, the god supreme realm, or even the god king realm, the divine palace will provide all the resources you need.” Deacon Iversen was clearly trying to recruit Loki.  If he spoke, Chrille Ibsen and Brogan Balfe would have to step aside.  Chrille, having lost two servants, was reluctant.

“Deacon Iversen, I invited these four first.

Your interference not only makes me unhappy but will also displease my father if he finds out!” “We both work for the divine palace, and I have the responsibility to make promises.

I represent the divine palace and can offer any powerful conditions.

Can you?” Deacon Iversen’s words were blunt, bordering on theft.

Chrille was frustrated but powerless.  Loki thought for a moment and realized that his Grand Master was still in seclusion.

The shortest time would be three thousand years, and the longest ten thousand years.  With nowhere else to turn, the divine palace, being the top faction in the divine world, must have valuable resources.

“Is that true?” Loki asked.

“Will the four of us receive the same resources if we join the divine palace?” Deacon Iversen hesitated.  He had witnessed Loki’s terrifying combat strength but had yet to see the abilities of the other three.

Bedirhan Leitner placed his right hand behind his back and raised his left hand slightly.

“I’m a newly advanced heavenly god realm.

Please enlighten me!” His confident stance spoke volumes about his assurance.  Deacon Iversen hesitated, scanning the scene.

Could there be another super genius here?

He steeled himself and nodded.

“Alright, let’s see if today’s good fortune comes in pairs!” “Please advise me!” Bedirhan stepped forward.  All eight gates opened, and his aura surged.  In no time, he advanced through all eight realms, reaching the eighth level of the heavenly god realm.  This display left everyone stunned.

“F*ck!” Deacon Iversen was even more shocked.  What kind of day was this?

A monster appeared, advancing through eight minor realms in the blink of an eye.  This talent was astonishing!

But it didn’t end there.  Bedirhan’s aura became even more terrifying.  He took a step forward, and his left hand transformed into a blur.

“Flying Immortal Strike!” he said softly.

The attack, a blend of white and red light, sliced through the air and struck Deacon Iversen’s body.  It was a razor-sharp blow that cut through his arms and waist.

Bedirhan’s face paled from the strain of using such a forbidden technique at his current level.  Still, the place fell silent once again.  Deacon Iversen’s already heavily injured body took another severe blow, and his recovery was noticeably slower, taking a full fifteen minutes.

Deacon Iversen’s face grew even paler.  Bedirhan, unrelenting, added, “Deacon Iversen, how is my strength?” “Terrifying!” Deacon Iversen admitted honestly.

“Senior!” Garvie Nantz stepped forward and cupped his hands.

“I’m a newly ascended heavenly god, Garvie Nantz.

Please enlighten me, senior!” “No need!” Deacon Iversen instinctively declined Deacon Iversen instinctively refused, still feeling the effects of the earlier confrontation.  “The four of you will enter the divine palace at the same time.

The resources you’ll have access to will far exceed what I promised.” “Don’t you need to verify it?” Garvie asked, unwilling to let it go.

“Deacon Iversen’s divine body is injured.

Let’s not push him further,” Bedirhan said with a touch of sympathy.

“Garvie’s strength is probably the most unpredictable among us,” Femi Kabbah noted, understanding well that Garvie had inherited a formidable legacy from his teacher.  His combat strength was likely on par with or even superior to the others.

Deacon Iversen, hearing this, wiped his cold sweat in secret.  He hadn’t anticipated that the most formidable person among the four hadn’t even made a move yet.

“Please wait a moment,” he said.

“I’ve informed the divine palace.

An elder will come personally to escort you there shortly.” “An elder’s coming?” Chrille asked, shocked.

“Which elder?” he pressed.

“Elder Ebbe Cortsen,” Deacon Iversen replied nonchalantly.

Chrille’s eyes widened, and he immediately fell silent.  Elder Ebbe’s status was significantly higher than his father’s.

“Elder Ebbe?” Brogan asked in surprise.

“Out of the 36,000 elders in the divine palace, Elder Ebbe is ranked ninth?” “Naturally!” Deacon Iversen replied calmly.  He was loyal to Elder Ebbe.  Within the divine palace, the strength of the elders ranked closer to the top was incredibly formidable.

True to Deacon Iversen’s words, a short while later, a daunting figure appeared in the sky.  His aura was restrained, and he looked like an unassuming old farmer, with rough hands and patched clothes.  He was quite inconspicuous.

Seeing him, Deacon Iversen immediately bowed respectfully.

“Chrille Ibsen greets Elder Ebbe!” Chrille said, not daring to be casual.

“Elder Ebbe!” Brogan added humbly.

“No need for such formality,” Elder Ebbe replied.

Ebbe raised his hand and tossed a jade bottle to Deacon Iversen.

“Take one pill every night.

Your body will be completely healed within three days.” “Thank you for the medicine, Elder!” Deacon Iversen said with relief.

“If the four people you recommended prove to be genuine,” Ebbe continued calmly, “you’ll have made a significant contribution to the divine palace.

You will be rewarded, and advancing to the ancient god realm should be within reach for you.” “Elder, I am forever grateful!” Deacon Iversen tried to contain his excitement.

Advancing from the heavenly god realm to the ancient god realm would normally take hundreds of thousands of years if done alone.  Without a special opportunity, he might not reach the ancient god realm in his lifetime.

“Come back to the palace with me later.

What are your names?” Ebbe asked, nodding.

“Loki Foreman!” “Bedirhan Leitner!” “Femi Kabbah!” “Garvie Nantz!” … The four of them looked at the old man with a touch of caution.  Though he appeared ordinary, they sensed he was an expert of immense power.

Ebbe nodded and waved his hand, parting the fog around the forbidden zone to reveal a damaged ancient tower.  The tower had nine floors and was in ruins.

“How many levels of the nine-story god tower have you cleared?” he asked.

“I cleared it completely!” Loki responded openly.  The condition to leave the tower was to clear all nine floors.  If you couldn’t, there was no way out.

Ebbe nodded.

“In the divine palace, there’s a 99-story divine tower.

Clearing this smaller one is just a starting point.

It’s only enough to qualify you to join the divine palace!”
