Chapter 1774 Traitor of the Race

Chapter 1774: Traitor of the Race Chapter 1774: Traitor of the Race Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation Armor removal and sword return, a ritual reserved for the dead!  All the commanders stood up, turned around, and knelt on one knee.  They lowered their heads and said hoarsely, “Commander, according to the rules of the Northern Army, the sword stays with us.

The day the sword is abandoned is the day we die!” “Brother, everyone’s cold sword has accompanied them in battle for half their lives.

I’m afraid it will be very difficult for them to hand it over,” Syrus Yanagi muttered softly.

“I won’t hand it over!” Harvey Lay straightened his neck and said firmly.

“Get out!” Braydon Neal’s eyes were cold as he stared at Harvey.

Harvey was straightforward.

“Fine!

I won’t hand over my blade!” With that, he walked out the door, head held high.

A few lines of frustration appeared on Braydon’s forehead.  He frowned, thinking, “I’m making a concession.

The Northern Army isn’t being disbanded.

If they gather together, they’ll be easily attacked.

Scattered across the universe, I will call you back in the future!” “As you command, Commander!” All the commanders obeyed.  From today onwards, the Northern Army would be broken up into pieces.  Everyone would become a cultivator of the universe, choose their own path, and continue to cultivate.  In the future, when Braydon reached the peak, he would naturally summon them back to slaughter all the races.  This was the first thing.

Braydon continued, “The human race Prodigy Tournament is just preparation for entering the Immortal Burial Ground.

All the armies must send out a message: all men of the Northern Army must gather immediately after the human race Prodigy Tournament ends and go to the Immortal Burial Ground with me!” “Commander, there are only 100 spots in the Immortal Burial Ground!” Tanner Lynn’s eyes were filled with confusion.  He was already a lieutenant commander.

Braydon explained gently, “I have a special way to enter the Immortal Burial Ground.

There’s no limit to the number of people who can enter, but this is top secret and cannot be leaked.

Tell the soldiers below to listen to my orders.

When the Immortal Burial Ground is over, the various armies will split up!” “Yes, sir!” Tanner clicked his tongue.  He hadn’t expected his commander to be so capable.  What kind of place was the Immortal Burial Ground?

It was a forbidden zone for the myriad races!  It only opened for a limited time in a special world and could accommodate only a hundred people.  Those hundred spots were distributed among the ten thousand races, making them incredibly scarce.  But now, Braydon had the ability to bring all the soldiers of the Northern Army in.

All the commanders were secretly delighted.

Braydon waved his hand and said, “Alright, Frediano, you stay here.

The rest of you can go back and get ready.

Treat the competition as a place to train yourselves.

I hope everyone in the Northern Army will reach the eternal realm before entering the Immortal Burial Ground!” Swoosh!  All the commanders stood up and left.  Only a few people remained in the main hall of the military headquarters.

With a wave of his hand, Braydon released the little fool and Cole Colbie.  Luke Yates, who was soaking his feet and munching on a cucumber, felt his world spin as he was released.  He blinked and asked, “Why did you let me out?” “Cole, how are you feeling?” Westley Hader stepped forward and asked.

Cole’s face was rather pale.  He waved his hand and said, “My memory is somewhat damaged, but it’s not serious.

I’ll be fine after recuperating for a while!” “The Hundred Stellar Realm Competition starts tomorrow.

Luke, follow me!” Braydon returned to his own courtyard after leaving this command.  Before he left, he even took Luke with him.  In the entire Northern Army, the only person who could control this little fool was Braydon.  If it were anyone else, they wouldn’t be able to handle this devil king.

In the main hall of the military headquarters, Jonah Shaw and the others didn’t say much and returned to their respective positions.

They waited until late at night.  The Bright Lord’s true body descended, holding a huge head with his bare hands.  A brutal aura leaked out—the aura of a peak!  Unfortunately, it wasn’t human but a demon creature.  The Wind Saint Roc’s head was as large as a star, exuding supreme pressure.

the Bright Lord’s true body held the head in his left hand as he descended on the human headquarters, shocking countless people.

“The head of a wind saint great roc!” someone exclaimed.

“Welcome back, Bright Lord!” “Congratulations, Bright Lord, on slaying a peak of the demon race!” “Congratulations, Bright Lord!” Voices echoed with excitement and awe.

The Bright Lord’s true body descended and said, “Boss, I’ve brought it.

There’s still a breath left!” “Find that traitor!” Braydon commanded with just one sentence.

It was already proven that the human upper echelons had someone at the apex who colluded with the demons.  Savoy Lanaspeze wasn’t qualified to come into contact with such secrets, but the wind saint great roc should know something, right?

The Bright Lord’s true body glanced at the head and said indifferently, “Tell me yourself, or should I investigate?” “Bright Lord!” The wind saint great roc’s head let out a heaven-shaking roar.

“You don’t want to talk?” the Bright Lord’s true body remained calm.

Swoosh!  He placed his hand down and used the Soul Search forbidden technique.  The Bright Lord could forcibly search the souls of peak existences.  His strength was terrifying.  The peak was the end of the great path—this was something universally acknowledged.  But now, there were several beings among the human race who had surpassed this peak.  This was the power of the new path!

The head, as large as a star, let out a terrified scream.  It gathered its cultivation, but it couldn’t block the soul search.  In front of the Bright Lord’s true body, the soul imprint was useless!

Everyone knew that the five lords all had eon artifacts.  These could sever souls and destroy imprints.  If someone died by their hands, reincarnation was out of the question.  What was even more terrifying was that the Bright Lord had already perfected the evil blade, which could cut off soul imprints.

Under the Bright Lord’s soul search, it took two hours.  The memories of a peak supreme being were vast and complex, making it difficult to sift through and find useful information.

When the Bright Lord opened his eyes, a cold light flashed in them.  “Where is the black-robed ancestor?” he shouted coldly.

“What?” “The traitor is Black Robe?” “This fellow—the Bright Lord spared his life back then, yet he dared to betray the race!” “Our race may have internal strife and factional disputes, but there is a line that must not be crossed.

Anyone who crosses that line will face the consequences!” “Traitors must die!” “Where is Black Robe?

I’ll kill him!” …

In just one night, hundreds of peak humans had appeared.  A traitor at the peak was a serious offense.  Everyone knew that a peak existence had already come into contact with the core authority of the race and had access to top-secret information.  The harm to the race was immeasurable!

As shock and fury spread, Chief Green Lotus spoke with a grim expression.

“Black Robe left the race 12 hours ago.

We don’t know where he is now!” “Damn it, he’s most likely defected to the demons!” Chadwick Neal’s face darkened with anger.

They were the chiefs of the race, yet a betrayal had occurred right under their noses.

This was a direct challenge against the eight lineage chiefs, a slap in the face to the various chiefs.

As the chiefs, it was a failure not to detect such a betrayal within the peaks of the race.  If a chief couldn’t suppress those below the peak, they were useless.  Incompetence at that level couldn’t protect the race.

This was why Atreus Burnett, Taarank Briones, and the others had little respect for the eight chiefs.  Though the chiefs were already quite powerful, leading superpowers in the starry sky, even they were not above scrutiny.
