Chapter 234 The Heavenly Maze Of Doom (3)
After a few days, Ji Yuan and his party had finally cleared the first section of the labyrinth and found the entrance of the nightmare labyrinth.
There were two portals facing them now; one leading into the nightmare labyrinth and the other would lead them back to the entrance of the trial.
All six of them were looking quite sheepish at one another; it was because they had been lost for a few days in the maze and was lucky to have found the next entrance of the maze.
None of them had been right with their directions. Left or right, it did not matter.
It was because this labyrinth was not a simple maze but a spatial maze that had multiple levels and portals. The normal rules of the maze just did not apply to it.
Ji Yuan laughed. “We have finally found the next section of the maze now. We must be geniuses to find the entrance so soon. Haha.”
“Not so soon. We’ve taken several days.” Ling Feiyue sighed.
Feng Minyue smiled. “It is actually quite soon. Many of the trials often take some time to clear. We have actually been quite lucky for the last two trials.”
Ji Yuan laughed. “Hear! Hear!”
Bai Qianfeng said quietly. “I am afraid that the first section of the labyrinth is actually the easiest to clear. The next two sections won’t be easy. Just hearing the name nightmare labyrinth and uber labyrinth is worth being cautious about the next two sections.”
Shui Xisi was feeling a little impatient as she said. “Come, let go in now. We are just wasting time here.”
Ji Yuan and the rest of the party agreed as they went into the portal that would led them into the nightmare labyrinth.
After they had entered into the portal, they soon found themselves in a cavern and there were steps leading down the platform.
Below the steps were six large desolate beasts waiting for them!
This startled them as they all quickly unsheathed their swords.
But they soon calm down as they suddenly realized that these desolate beasts were fifth rank desolate beasts.
Fifth rank desolate beasts were still dangerous and they could kill a careless saint if they were careless since their natural weapons like their claws and jaws could tear apart a cultivator easily.

The reason why Ji Yuan and his party had calmed down because they had realized that these desolate beasts were all kept at bay by an invisible force and they could not approach the steps of the platform.
“This is the safe zone, I guess.” Ji Yuan quickly calmed down after a quick observation. In his hastiness to unsheathe his immortal-step sword, he had also grabbed his Mirror of Telepathy as well.
All of a sudden there was a shimmering glow in his mirror that startled Ji Yuan.
Someone seemed to be trying to communicate with him via the Mirror of Telepathy…
The other five maidens were startled too as they turned to look at Ji Yuan curiously.
Ji Yuan was perplexed as well as he curiously imbued his profound animus into the Mirror of Telepathy as he frowned. “Don’t look at me like this. I have no other friends inside the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth…”
When his profound aura had touched the Mirror of Telepathy, a sweet but tired voice had immediately greeted him. “Great Hero Ji…is it you? I have finally contacted you.”
Ji Yuan was startled to hear that the sweet voice had come from Mu Wan’Er.
“Wan’Er, it is you? Yes, I am Ji Yuan. Why are you using the Mirror of Telepathy?” Ji Yuan was startled.
The other five maidens had also recognized Mu Wan’Er voice and they were equally startled.
It is Wan’Er? Why is she calling Ji Yuan for?
Mu Wan’Er said melancholy. “I am afraid that this trial may be my very last. I can’t exit from it…and I wish to talk to you for the very last time.”
Ji Yuan was startled as he quickly asked. “What happen? What is this trial that you are facing right now? Don’t give up hope please. You can still overcome this trial!”
Mu Wan’Er answered weakly. “I have been lost for many days now in this trial and I can’t find the exit portal to recuperate my profound strength. Before I die, I have suddenly thought of you and thought of bidding you farewell…”
“What trial is this?” Ji Yuan interrupted urgently as he knew that they could only communicate for only a few minutes.
“I’m in a maze and I am lost. I really don’t know where I am and it is a terrible place…filled with traps and monsters…”
Ji Yuan quickly interrupted her as he mustered a manly laugh. “You have found the right person! I am good in navigating mazes. Listen to me and I will get you out soon enough.”
Mu Wan’Er was startled. “Really?”
Ji Yuan said firmly. “Trust me and I will get you out of this place soon enough. I am the master of navigating mazes and there are none that are better than me. All you need to do is to navigate extremely left or right by touching your fingers along the walls. I promise you that you won’t get lost in this manner. Do as I say and you will get out of the maze in no time.”
“Really! Please don’t lose up hope…” All of a sudden the Mirror of Telepathy went dead as Ji Yuan’s voice was cut off.
He sighed softly as he muttered. “Good luck…”
Ling Feiyue asked him. “Do you want to use my Mirror of Telepathy to reach out to her again?”
Ji Yuan shook his head with a regretful soft sigh. “There is nothing we can do for her. We can only wish her good luck for now. Better save the Mirror of Telepathy of our own emergency uses.”
Feng Minyue sighed softly. “I hope she will be alright…”
Xiang Li was also saying woefully in Ji Yuan’s soul sea. “Yea! Hope Maiden Wan’Er will be alright!”
Little Princess took a look at Ji Yuan before she chuckled softly. “Ji Yuan, did you just claim that you are a master of navigation in the mazes? Then why are we lost in this place?”
Ji Yuan: …
When the other maidens heard Little Princess, they could not resist a soft giggle.
Shui Xisi laughed. “We seem to be lost in this place.”
Ji Yuan immediately made his protest. “We are not lost. As a matter of fact, we have only just got into this place. How can you claim that we are lost?”
Ling Feiyue rolled her eyes before she smiled wryly. “We are definitely lost for a few days in the earlier section of the labyrinth.”
“That is because the whole lot of you didn’t go left and insist on going right.” Ji Yuan protested weakly.
Ling Feiyue winked at Bai Qianfeng who was standing near her before she turned to look at Ji Yuan. “Then why not we let this ‘Master of Navigation’ lead us this time round?”
Bai Qianfeng laughed softly. “We should definitely give him a chance to prove himself to us.”
Shui Xisi could not resist a few chuckles. “I doubt that he is as good as he has claimed to be.”
Ji Yuan: …
“Ahem!” He purposely coughed to get everyone attention first. “Of course I am the master of navigation and I bet that you will be awed by my awesomeness…”
Except for Feng Minyue, all the other four maidens were all giggling.
“I don’t believe…”
“He is boasting again…”
“Ji Yuan is so funny…”
“He is making a bluff again…”
Ji Yuan: …
Ji Yuan: …
Ji Yuan: …
Feng Minyue said quietly. “I think he isn’t boasting…”
Ling Feiyue giggled as she pulled Feng Minyue to her side. “You don’t know Ji Yuan well enough…”
Ji Yuan rolled his eyes as he watched his only supporter got pulled over to the other side…
“Listen up!” Ji Yuan proclaimed loudly. “The nightmare labyrinth requires us to find a silver key in order to gain access to the uber labyrinth. Therefore finding the entrance of the uber labyrinth is useless unless we can find the silver key.”
Bai Qianfeng smiled. “Isn’t this common sense?”
“So what do you propose that we do first?” Little Princess asked teasingly.
Ji Yuan said heroically, “Is there a need to ask? First all, we have to kill these desolate beasts at the bottom of the steps first…”
“He doesn’t have a plan at all.” Ling Feiyue laughed softly as she rolled to and fro as she interrupted him.
Ji Yuan was not upset but he was grinning; Feiyue, you look really very beautiful especially when you are laughing. You look even more beautiful naked and laughing as I am banging you a couple of days ago…
He put his hands on both his hips as he laughed heartily. “If you’re ready to see how I beat this trial then let’s go now!”
Ling Feiyue laughed as she put her head into Little Princess’ bosoms. “Sorry…I just can’t stop laughing.”
Then she turned to wink at Ji Yuan. “But before we can see you in action, shouldn’t you first prove your action first by getting rid of these desolate beasts first?”
Little Princess, Bai Qianfeng, Shui Xisi and even Feng Minyue were all giggling when they had heard Ling Feiyue’s tease.
Ji Yuan muttered. “There are six desolate beasts. One for each of us. It is just nice…”
“But you are the only man in the party.” Shui Xisi laughed. “So gogo!”
Ji Yuan shrugged his shoulder before he formed a weak smile at the six desolate beasts below. “You know monsters. If the ladies want you to die in my hands, you have to accept it. If you can understand me, quickly flee or fear my wrath that will soon be upon you. Because in a short moment time, it won’t be funny for you anymore and you can’t roar at me anymore.”
