SHEN JI YUN'S anger subsided quite a lot after hearing what Luo Yan said. In fact, instead of anger, the shyness in his heart was even stronger. He truly wanted to just pull Luo Yan close and give him a big kiss.
Contrary to him, Huang Wen felt the exact opposite. Just those words alone proved that Luo Yan and that... guy had that kind of relationship. Realizing that, he felt like a small corner of his heart just broke.

The other's usually cold eyes were now burning with flames of anger. He was looking at Huang Wen as if he wanted to choke the life out of him. It's so palpable that it felt like it would burn him to ashes.
The anger that Huang Wen felt became even stronger after seeing that. How dare this person do this? The other didn't have the right to feel angry when he's the one who felt so shitty right now. "You know nothing, so shut you damn mouth," Shen Ji Yun said through gritted teeth.
This was the first time in a while when he felt this angry. When he was listening to this bastard spouting nonsense, it felt like he was seeing the future. That this was how people would see Luo Yan once they found out their relationship. And that hurt.
That fucking hurt.
Because the only reason Luo Yan would receive those criticisms was because of him. He would be the cause of all the possible pain that Luo Yan might feel. He hated this guy for saying such things. But he hated himself more for being the root cause of it all.
Even then, he couldn't bring himself to break his relationship with Luo Yan. He was in too deep for that to even be a possibility. So, the only thing he could do was to protect and prevent things like this from happening.
Huang Wen glared at the man who was still choking his neck. "You're the one who knows nothing, you son of a bitch!"
Shen Ji Yun felt the vein on his forehead about to pop off. He didn't respond and just simply raised his hand holding the sword, ready to stab the other on the face. But before he could do that, a soft hand stopped him and pulled him up.
He only left himself be pulled because he knew that the owner of that hand was Luo Yan. At the same time that the other did that, the dark elf also pulled the annoying bastard from him.
Huang Wen had also already stood up and wanted to go forward to attack YUN. But he was violently pulled back. He glanced back and was ready to lash out but Ying Chen's expression stopped him.
The other was glaring at him with bloodshot eyes. He was obviously very angry right now.
"Huang Wen, just stop." Ying Chen's voice that was initially full of anger had slowly turned into disappointment. "Stop making a fool of yourself. If you continue to do so, then "I'd rather not be here to witness it."

Luo Yan was slightly surprised by the sudden hug but after he heard what Shen Ji Yun said next, he couldn't help but smile. It's just that, the way the other said it felt more like he was saying it to himself rather than to Luo Yan. So, he raised his arms and hugged the other back.
"I know. There's no way I would ever feel that way. So, Brother Ji Yun should also do the same."
Shen Ji Yun hugged Luo Yan even tighter. The worry and guilt that started to accumulate in his heart slowly melted away. "Yes, I will."
And then, he thought of that guy earlier and the possible problem the other could bring.
"What should we do with that guy?"
Knowing that Shen Ji Yun was referring to Huang Wen, Luo Yan started to feel a headache. Not because he thought the other would go around telling people about their relationship, but because of a possibility that he had never considered.
It seemed that Huang Wen had some kind of crush on him.
