Wei Zhirong was so mad that she started punching Wei Zixiao.
Seeing the siblings playfully fighting, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile. It seemed she didn’t have to worry; Zhirong wasn’t dejected from being rejected. That’s the Zhirong she knew.
Elsewhere, Wei Zhirong finally vented her anger, tidied herself up, and went to the front.
"Brother Xie, we’re planning to take a walk after lunch, would you like to join us?"

"Yeah, it’s a good thing Zhirong bounced back right away; Xie Yuanzhou truly doesn’t have an eye for her." Naturally, Yiyi sided with Wei Zhirong and formed an opinion about Xie Yuanzhou.
Fei Erya nodded in agreement, and then they each returned to their rooms to rest.
But as she entered the room, Fei Erya was swept up in a warm embrace, "What were you and Er Ya whispering about outside so late?"
The familiar scent made Yiyi completely relax, and she replied cheerfully, "We were talking about Zhirong."
Upon hearing this, Gu Tingyu raised an eyebrow, "I didn’t expect Zhirong to like someone like Xie Yuanzhou." Being close friends with Wei Zixiao, he always saw Wei Zhirong as a younger sister. "Alright, I won’t introduce anyone to Zhirong just yet."
Gu Tingyu chatted with Yiyi for quite a while while holding her, and finally returned to his own room.
On the other side, Fei Erya went back to her room, where Fan Qianshu was waiting for her.
"Qianshu, you haven’t gone to rest yet?"
Fan Qianshu got up and pulled Fei Erya into his embrace, sitting her on his lap, "Are you in a hurry for me to rest? We haven’t had a proper conversation today."
Feeling the warmth of his embrace, Fei Erya immediately blushed, but sitting relaxed like this really felt good.
The two talked for a long while in this position before eventually going to rest.
The next day, once Wei Zhirong and the others woke up, she led them to a breakfast place in town to enjoy a typical Li County breakfast before heading back home.
"Yiyi, Er Ya, next time we have a chance, let’s go out together again."
"Sure."
Yiyi and Fei Erya naturally nodded, and once everyone returned to Shangjing, they each headed home.
However, Gu Tingyu didn’t go straight back; instead, he dropped Yiyi off at the Ding Family before heading back. He initially planned on staying longer, but he had an urgent task and could only leave after dropping Yiyi off.
Old Master Ding saw Yiyi return and smiled, "Yiyi, you’re back! Did you have fun this time?" He then glanced toward the door and casually asked, "Why didn’t Tingyu come in with you?"
"Grandpa, Tingyu got called to work suddenly, so he dropped me off at the gate before leaving."
Upon hearing this, Old Master Ding pursed his lips.
"He’s really passing by the house without stopping in; his job keeps him so busy you rarely see each other."
Yiyi quickly replied, "There’s nothing we can do about it, and Tingyu’s work is important, so of course, he has to prioritize it."
Seeing his granddaughter stand up for Gu Tingyu, Old Master Ding felt a tinge of jealousy but, remembering their future as a couple, refrained from saying more and simply urged Yiyi to go rest.
"Grandpa, where’s my mom? Is she still busy at the clothing store?"
Speaking of Ding Yuejun, Old Master Ding furrowed his brow slightly and said, "Your mother knew you’d be back today, so she said she’d just step out for a bit and then come cook for you. But it’s been several hours and she’s still not back."

"I wonder if my mom ran into some trouble. Maybe I should go to the clothing store to find her."
