As the snowy line came out from the crack on Shangde Peak, a thin and gray line also came out, looking like a thin vine growing out of a plant unnoticed.

The thin gray line headed toward Tianguang Peak, alarming everybody on the peak top.

The Immortal Guangyuan and Nan Wang were ready to defend the peak top after the initial shock.

Zhuo Rusui hid behind the Round Turtle as quickly as he could.

Gu Qing stepped in front of Que Niang and Zhao Layue.

Fortunately, the gray line didn’t exert any lethal force.

With a loud thud, a hole appeared on the cliff wall of Tianguang Peak, the rock chips falling down with a rustling sound. Liu Shisui clenched to his chest while lying in the heap of broken rock chips, his clothes covered with blood. His dark face looked considerably pale.

After finding out that it was Liu Shisui, Zhao Layue and the others felt surprised as well as thrilled.

Jing Jiu and the Dead Dog didn’t bring Liu Shisui with them when they came out from the hermit peaks. They thought that he had died along with the Immortal Taiping, and that he wouldn’t have any chance to return alive now that Shangde Peak had been compressed so much by the Fairy Lady Bai Ren.

Unexpectedly, he was still alive, and the owner of the snowy line didn’t forget to throw him back to Tianguang Peak as she was about to fight with the Fairy Lady.

“What is going on? Who is the person over there?”

Zhuo Rusui came before Liu Shisui as quickly as he could and asked hastily, “That person is so strong; is he actually the Great Grandmaster Daoyuan?”

The energy exuded by the snowy line was obviously stronger than anyone in Chaotian, and it was actually close to that of the Fairy Lady; otherwise, the Fairy Lady Bai Ren had no need to retreat to such a high spot in the night sky.

No matter how hard he tried and thought, Zhuo Rusui couldn’t think of a figure in such a formidable state at the Green Mountain Sect, so he made up a story instinctively.

Thinking of this possibility, he couldn’t help but curse in his mind, as he thought that the two Grandmasters were indeed weirdos who dared lock anyone in the Sword Jail…Was it a habit of the Green Mountain Sect to betray their masters?

Liu Shisui had no idea that so many thoughts had occurred to Zhuo Rusui in such a short time. He said in bewilderment, “That is not a grandmaster of our sect.”

Looking at the snowy line in the night sky and feeling the quiver in the distance, Zhuo Rusui remarked in surprise, “My goodness…not even the Fairy Lady can suppress him. Who the heck is he?”

All gazes were fixed on the shooting lights and the spreading icicles in the night sky. Even though they were more than ten miles away from it, they could still see it clearly; the scene almost occupied a half of the night sky.

The people were astonished, wondering who the person on the snowy line was and why the person dared fight against the Fairy Lady directly, and how the person could last so long.

It wasn’t until now that the air waves generated by the two massive forces had reached the ground, causing a violent windstorm among the peaks. The wind dispersed the ocean of clouds and knocked many rocks off the cliffs, with many trees snapping in half with frequent cracking sounds.

In addition to Zhuo Rusui, the other Cultivation practitioners had fled someplace else to escape the wind, and didn’t dare confront the powerful energy of heaven and earth.

No sooner had the whistling wind ceased than the snowflakes began to fall down. An extremely cold energy arrived among the peaks, and the broken tree branches were soon covered with a thin layer of frost.

The snowy line returned to the top of Shangde Peak. A small and short figure could be vaguely seen amid the wind and snow.

Shangde Peak had never been this cold over the years even though the chill was caused by the cold source underneath the peak and the Flowing-Snow Sword style, and thus covered with the wind and snow all year long.

Along with a faint golden wind, Bai Ren dropped down slowly from the night sky. Her eyes displayed a hint of golden smoke and energy, which was the residual of the fairy wills, meaning that she hadn’t held back her Cultivation state in the earlier fight.

The most shocking and baffling thing was that a corner of her skirt was sliced off, emitting thin and faint light specks into the night sky as it was tousled by the wind.

Her body became a fairy entity after she succeeded in ascension, and both her body and her clothing were full of the fairy energy. This also indicated that she had also been wounded in the fight.

Who in this world could injure a fairy lady?

Looking at the small and short figure on top of Shangde Peak, Bai Ren demanded icily, “Show your true identity!”

This was something all the others wanted to know as well.

Who was this person?

The wind and snow had gradually abated. The warm wind and ubiquitous fairy energy were melting the snow and nurturing the peaks of Green Mountain that had suffered a great deal of damages that day.

The figure had finally shown her true appearance.

Many surprised screams went up among the peaks and in the sky.

It was because what they saw was not a human being.

It was a snow woman.

She had a pair of black eyes, but no mouth, nose or ears. She should be a girl since her hair was long enough to drop to her back and shoulders.

She was wrapped in a thick quilt, on top of which were some embroidered phoenixes and flowers. The quilt looked rather worn, and water beads were dripping down from its edge, as if it were bleeding.

If it were real blood, she must have been wounded as well, and she must have been wounded worse than the Fairy Lady Bai Ren.

Anyone who saw the Snow Girl the first time would think she was adorable, like what Tong Yan and the Green Girl had thought back then.

Yet in the next moment, they felt terrified; it was because this feeling was caused by the pressure from a lifeform in a much higher state.

The Cultivation practitioners on Green Mountain felt the same way. They were all pale-faced and wished to flee, especially when they figured out who the Snow Girl might be.

“Is she the daughter of the Queen of the Snowy Kingdom that you brought back from the snowland? You people dared raise her in the Sword Jail this entire time…Don’t you fear that she might cause a great deal of trouble for the humans in the future?”

The stern voice of the Immortal Tan suddenly burst out.

Hearing this, an uproar went up. Those Cultivation practitioners who hadn’t figured out who the Snow Girl was felt more dumbfounded now.

The Queen of the Snowy Kingdom gave birth to an offspring more than one hundred years ago, which was a significant event everybody knew of in Chaotian.

After the birth, the snowland had quaked for a long while; later, the Queen of the Snowy Kingdom had fought with her child in relentless combat and eventually drove the girl out of the snowland.

In the minds of the Cultivation practitioners, the daughter of the Queen had already died at the hands of the Young Zen Master.

But she was unexpectedly still alive.

According to what the Immortal Tan said, the Green Mountain Sect had raised this hideous monster in the Sword Jail the entire time. What did the Green Mountain Sect intend to do?

“Even the Bloody Demon Church didn’t dare do such a thing back then, and yet your Green Mountain Sect has been doing it. How can you call yourself the leader of the orthodox sects?”

The Immortal Tan sighed while looking at Jing Jiu, “In order to compete with our sect, you people don’t even take the safety of the human race into account.”

Jing Jiu didn’t give a response to this claim, because he thought it was rather tedious.

But Zhuo Rusui didn’t think so; he exclaimed indignantly, “The Center Sect has called back the Fairy Lady; is it too outrageous to invite an outsider to help us?”

Yes, it was indeed outrageous.

The war between the Center Sect and the Green Mountain Sect was nevertheless the matter of the human race. The Snowy Kingdom was the most menacing threat to the humans, like a Damocles sword hanging over their heads. It was a fact the people in the world couldn’t accept that the Green Mountain Sect raised the Snow Girl in secret.

The golden smoke and fog in Bai Ren’s eyes grew brighter as she said, “Even if your mother came here, she wouldn’t be my match, to say nothing of you.”

She was the guardian of Chaotian, and what the Green Mountain Sect had done enraged her.

She would in no way allow the Snow Girl to live.

The Snow Girl had never had any emotion before, or at least, she had never displayed it, even when Bai Ren called her the ‘beast’ earlier.

But when she heard this statement, the black eyes of hers emitted a flash of bright light; did it mean that she was angry or that she simply showed a contempt?

She brought her hands to her collar and untied the thick quilt.

She did it like a general in the battle, taking off the blood-stained overcoat for the final fight.

Countless surprised screams broke out among the peaks of Green Mountain.

She thrust her fist toward the night sky.

Her fist was very small and snow white, looking like an adorable snowball.

Yet, nothing in the world was more formidable than this fist.

The whirlpools in the Thunder Region had become brighter all of a sudden; but no thunder and lightning struck down.

The strong winds whipped up among the peaks, and then gathered at a point, as if they would pierce through the night sky.

Bai Ren extended her right hand, sweeping her palm at the top of Shangde Peak.

Boom!!!

The posts in the stone forest at the foot of Tianguang Peak were toppling down one after the other, producing endless smoke and dust.

The monkeys of Shenmo Peak and Shiyue Peak had all fled to a cliff by the Sword-Washing Stream, not daring to make a sound.

The exceedingly hard Shangde Peak, which was transformed by the fairy magic, had…disappeared; or in other words, it had sunk into the underground.

Water kept dripping down from the Snow Girl’s body, wetting the black ground under her feet.

A moment later, the water turned into ice; and soon, the snowflakes fell down from the sky.

Everybody sensed that the energy and pressure were much stronger at the moment than before.

The golden light speck drifted down from the night sky.

The water was the blood.

The golden light speck was the blood.

The cold intent was the blood.

And the fairy energy was the blood.

The outcome depended on whose blood would spill more than the other.

Judging from the situation in this amazing face to face combat, the Fairy Lady Bai Ren was not a match for the Snow Girl.

Standing in the night sky and looking at the Snow Girl quietly for a long time, Bai Ren suddenly asked, “Who on earth are you?”

“She is not the daughter of the Queen; she is the Queen of the Snowy Kingdom.”

Jing Jiu said to Bai Ren, “She is the most powerful being in this world.”
