The subordinate understood. He pulled the small knife out of Liu Qiang’s thigh, untied his ropes, pinned his left hand to the floor, and swung the blade down to chop it off.
"Don’t!" Yang Jing screamed in terror. Liu Yaozu’s face went deathly pale, his lips trembling so hard he couldn’t utter a single word.
Liu Qiang was already dizzy and seeing stars from the pain of the knife in his thigh. Now, about to have his hand chopped off, his vision went black, and he fainted dead away.
Shen Lu knew Boss Jin wasn’t a good person, but she never expected his methods to be so vicious and violent.
’It’s absolutely impossible to cooperate with a person like this. He’s like a starving wolf, always ready to pounce and take a bite out of you. One moment of carelessness, and he’ll devour you until not even a scrap is left.’

The thug snapped out of his stupor, grabbed Liu Qiang’s hair, yanked his head back, and pressed the knife to his throat.
He was just waiting for Boss Jin’s order, and his merciless little knife would immediately slice Liu Qiang’s throat, slaughtering him like a chicken.
"Do not provoke me so easily!" Shen Lu said, her face expressionless as she recited the soulless line. "If he dies, I will have everyone here buried with him!"
Boss Jin really couldn’t take it anymore. As soon as Shen Lu said those words, goosebumps cascaded down his body like falling snow.
He had to teach Shen Lu a lesson, lest she continue with this nonsense, playing dumb and being mysterious.
"What are you all standing around for?! Chop off both of her father’s hands!" Boss Jin roared, sending a chill through all his thugs.
Liu Qiang, who had just come to, heard this and fainted again before he could even scream.
Yang Jing fainted along with him, slumping with a THUD onto Liu Yaozu’s casted leg. Yaozu pushed at her with a look of disgust. ’Luckily, Mom isn’t heavy,’ he thought, ’otherwise that impact would have sent me right back to the hospital for another surgery.’
Two or three men surrounded Liu Qiang, pinned down his hands, and after exchanging a look, raised their knives to strike at the same time.
"Very good. You have truly angered me!" Shen Lu couldn’t tell if her lines were just so cringeworthy they were stunning people into silence, or if they were actually effective. But at this moment, there was no time to figure it out. "Duke of Thunder, assist me! Strike them down!"
RUMBLE!
A sudden clap of purple thunder exploded, making the entire house tremble violently. Fine dust rained down, getting in everyone’s eyes.

The two thugs raising their knives felt a chill shoot up from the soles of their feet, a cold sweat breaking out on their backs. Their limbs felt stiff.

"Is that important?" Shen Lu’s gaze was as cold as ice. "Heaven has a path, but you refused to walk it. Hell has no gate, yet you insisted on breaking in. You brought all of this upon yourself!"
