Chapter 1436: Ancestral Stone, Demon God, Creation God
Chapter 1436: Chapter 1436: Ancestral Stone, Demon God, Creation God
“I really like that child, he has high comprehension and a kind heart. Every day he sits on a stone atop of Ancestral Mountain, watching the universe and its creatures big and small, and from that, he has gleaned many rules of heaven and earth, which he then teaches to his brothers and sisters.”
“And I, one day accidentally defecated on an Ancestral Stone on top of Ancestral Mountain, which caused the stone to fly up and try to kill me. That child saved me, and out of gratitude, I formed a natal contract with him. That very stone I defecated on is this Ancestral Stone. The evil energy inside it stems from the filth in my excrement.”
“Damn it!” Beiting Huang nearly jumped up, knowing that this evil energy had suppressed his magical beasts for ten thousand years, and it all came from a pile of shit from this damn bird. However, Beiting Huang dared only to curse under his breath as the bird’s strength was something terrifying!
And what indeed was Ancestral Mountain, the place that gave birth to the Blue Bird and the three great Creation Gods? Even after living for so many years in that technologically advanced 21st century, Beiting Huang still couldn’t fathom it.
“The Earth Mother has refined it with the Heaven and Earth Fire for many years now; there isn’t much evil energy left on top. Continue to refine it, and when the evil energy is completely purified and returns to the Ancestral Stone’s origin, then you can try to control this Ancestral Stone.”
Even without the Blue Bird saying it, Beiting Huang would refine the Ancestral Stone daily with the Nine-Colored Nirvana Fire. He had no desire to be tainted by the evil energy. Beiting Huang did not have extravagant hopes of truly controlling the Ancestral Stone. To him, his biggest dream was nothing more than to find his parents, save Yan Ye, and ultimately cleanse the Spirit God Clan.
“This Ancestral Stone came to reside inside my body on its own accord. I just need the demonic energy it harbors, nothing else interests me,” Beiting Huang said indifferently. He looked up toward the edge of Slaughtering Spirit Mountain; beyond the mountain lay the endless plains. His purpose here was to find the individual named Zhuu Yun that Yan Ye had spoken of and obtain the Life Light with his help, and if lucky, also get the Dark Demon Pearl.
“This Ancestral Stone can help you conquer many planes!” The Blue Bird could hardly believe Beiting Huang’s words. He had revealed the stone’s origins to Beiting Huang, knowing that the universe’s formidable species were all nurtured by Ancestral Mountain, and the Ancestral Stone was a part of it.
“I have no interest in being the king of a plane!” Beiting Huang felt that talking any more to the Blue Bird was a waste of time. He stepped forward and walked on without seeing that behind him, the Blue Bird was looking at him with a pair of eyes filled with slight gratification.
Finally walking out of the mountains, Beiting Huang perched atop an ancient tree that had been growing for who knows how many years. After taking a short break, he descended from the tree. Walking through the wilderness, his current plan was to find a living person and inquire about the information he needed.
In the midst of the mountain ridges, a young man in a plain black robe, his hair tied up with a purple ribbon and hanging down his back, swaying side to side at his waistline with his stride. The young man, handsome in appearance, seemed to glide over the ground, unaffected by the dead branches and fallen leaves of the primitive forest, walking with a distinguished and leisurely demeanor.
This was the outskirts of Slaughtering Spirit Mountain; traveling on for another hour or two would see him clear of it. This outer forest still featured undulating hills, though the mountains weren’t very high. Many had been hollowed out by Stone Pickers, and after mining the Demonic Source Stone from inside, the excavated soil formed numerous mounds, and ordinary wild animals lived among them.
