Chapter 1499 - 1500: Asura’s Tomb

Chapter 1499: Chapter 1500: Asura’s Tomb

"There are still beasts in the Dead Soul Domain capable of harming your sister?"

Ye Mo was greatly astonished. A Perfect Soul Body and Great Perfection of Spirit realm, he couldn’t imagine anything stronger than this.

"In terms of human Soul Bodies, my sister is naturally the strongest. However, the Dead Soul Domain is not as simple as you imagine. Although my sister is the zone master, there are several places beyond her control. One such place is the Three Thousand Dead Spirits Realm, which is guarded by Ghost Spirits said to have descended from the immortal world, tasked with guarding the realm. Another place is the Nether Prison, where there are many adventures, and even materials for rebuilding the body. But the danger is unimaginable. My sister went to the Nether Prison in hopes of rebuilding her body and reviving."

Staying in the Dead Soul Domain is ultimately not the right path. Unable to marry, have children, eat food, or break through cultivation levels. It simply cannot compare to a physical state.

It makes sense to want to go to the Nether Prison to find materials for rebuilding the body.

"The Asura is the feared creature guarding the Nether Prison. No one can invade its territory. Once we enter the Nether Prison, we must be cautious at all times. It’s fine if we aren’t noticed, but if we are detected, we’ll have to retreat immediately!"

She believed that even if they teamed up, they couldn’t contend with the Asura. They could only sneak in to find the Divine Soul Fruit.

"En!"

Ye Mo nodded, saying nothing more. A beast that could harm the zone master must be extraordinary.

"The Nether Prison is located at the Mountain of Death Souls, where endless Soul origin forms the Gate of Nether Prison. Fortunately, the Power of Laws exists that prevent the beasts within from escaping the Gate of Nether Prison."

After Luo Po finished speaking, he led Ye Mo to the Mountain of Death Souls, the place where Ye Mo and Ye Mo had just entered the Dead Soul Domain.

As the Holy Mountain of the Dead Soul Domain, the Mountain of Death Souls has the densest Soul origin, causing the Gate of Nether Prison to form here. The gate isn’t guarded; any Soul Body entering without strength is simply courting death.

Then Luo Po led Ye Mo to resist the Gate of Nether Prison. Even before approaching, Ye Mo could sense waves of black mist within, which was resentment. So dense, it nearly condensed into liquid, dripping down from the top of the gate, permeated with a ghastly aura.

"Is this the door to the Nether Prison?"

Looking at the Gate of Nether Prison, even in his Soul Body state, he felt a tingle on his scalp.

"Yes, are you scared?"

Luo Po looked at Ye Mo’s expression and couldn’t help but smile.

"Afraid? What a joke, nothing has scared me yet."

Ye Mo smiled and jumped directly through the Gate of Nether Prison. As the defier of fate, the only one in the three worlds, he feared nothing, taking this trip as a tour.

"This guy doesn’t seem ordinary either, daring to leave his flesh to enter the Dead Soul Domain; such courage isn’t something just anyone possesses."

Seeing Ye Mo jump into the Nether Prison, Luo Po followed him through the Gate.

Entering the Nether Prison, Ye Mo felt as if he had stepped into a grand hall of a tomb, with many demonic and ghostly murals on the surrounding walls.

There were plenty of coffins around, but things were not illusions; they were real objects.

"This is the Asura’s tomb; I didn’t expect us to be transported here immediately. Despite the danger, the Divine Soul Fruit lies within this tomb."

As Luo Po spoke, she conjured a phantom blade in her hand, probed the surroundings, and walked out of the hall.

But as they prepared to leave, many ghostly spirits in phantom forms rushed out of the grand hall, mostly female ghosts, all bleeding from seven apertures, hands drooping forward, appearing terrifying.

"These are all vengeful spirits formed by condensed resentment and are without consciousness. It’s best if we don’t provoke them."

Luo Po advised.

"Such vengeful spirits should be weak; why not just deal with them directly?"

Ye Mo couldn’t help but ask.

"How many can your power kill? Don’t you know that repeated spiritual attacks can affect a Soul Body’s capability? We need to conserve strength for real dangers."

Luo Po rolled her eyes.

"Haha, forgot I was a Soul Body."

Ye Mo scratched the back of his head. Multiple spiritual attacks by a Soul Body will affect it, and a regular Soul Body requires immediate recovery after an attack before continuing.

Ye Mo’s Perfect Soul Body allows multiple spiritual attacks, but facing so many vengeful spirits would rapidly deplete his strength.

"Let’s go; as long as we don’t disturb them, they won’t attack us!"

Luo Po said, flying over the vengeful spirits’ heads, followed by Ye Mo. Once they left the spirits behind, they descended and navigated the tomb’s passage.

"In the ancient era, the Divine Soul Fruit was a sacred fruit offered to the Asura by strong vengeful spirits. Consuming one ensures a Soul Body on the brink of obliteration can instantly reform and return to peak strength. Asura, being immensely powerful, rules the Nether Prison completely, rendering him needless of the Divine Soul Fruit, so it was stored away. However, there were thefts of the fruit, so now they lie within this tomb, guarded by two powerful Zombie Kings."

Luo Po explained.

"What strength do those Zombie Kings hold?"

Ye Mo asked.

"They certainly possess the Great Perfection of Spirit realm, but you have an advantage. They’re Advanced Soul Bodies, while you are a Perfect Soul Body. Killing a Zombie King should pose no problem. However, we can’t linger here long; if we disturb the Asura, we’ll likely perish."

Luo Po spoke, her expression solemn.

"Hmm!"

Ye Mo understood that once they kill the Zombie Kings, their spiritual power would greatly diminish. If they then encounter the Asura, escape wouldn’t be possible.

As they searched further, they found the tomb chamber. It’s very tall, nearly several dozen feet, with walls adorned with Dragon and Phoenix Ornaments.

At the center of the chamber were two gigantic stone coffins, crafted from Amethyst Spirit, standing upright as if guarding something.

"The Divine Soul Fruit!"

Ye Mo focused his gaze, spotting, behind the coffins, a giant square cauldron levitating several phantom-like purplish-brown fruits.

Then, as they entered the tomb chamber, two huge transparent ancient corpses flew directly from the coffins. These ancient corpses had seals on their foreheads and held magic wands, standing before Ye Mo and Luo Hun, whose tightly shut eyes suddenly opened, emitting a blaze. Their eyes seemed aflame.

"Intruder of the tomb, die!"

The two Zombie Kings released a brutal aura. Their voices sent shockwaves through Luo Po’s Soul Body, causing her to distort and waver, while Ye Mo remained undisturbed, seizing with a mighty hand that transformed into ghostly claws attacking.
