The Martial Emperor with Dragon Blood

Man Qi held the energy hammer in his arm as if the Barbarian God had descended onto the earth.

The arena began to form cracks as thick as an arm. Even as Man Qi remained still, the crowd could feel the enormous energy coming from him.

Winds began to swirl around the hammer as purple lightning enveloped the top of the hammer. The aura that Man Qi gave out was stronger than Ye Changsheng’s Purple Blaze, even when he hadn’t even moved an inch.

“Take this! Heavy Lightning Hammer!” Man Qi shouted as he struck the stage with his hammer.

It was as if lightning had struck the arena as thousands of bolts shot towards Ye Mo.

Ye Mo held the Formation-Breaking Spear with both of his hands as he spun it in front of him, forming a black shield that protected him from the bolts for a short second before breaking apart.

Shocked by the power from the lightning bolts, Ye Mo quickly withdrew his spear and took a few steps back. Ye Mo could feel his hands becoming numb as the purple bolts remained on his spear.

“You managed to block my attack?” Man Qi gasped in surprise as the hammer disappeared with a swing of his arm. Energies began to wrap around his fists as he shot towards Ye Mo.

Man Qi thrust his palm out, and a huge amount of Energy Palms shot towards Ye Mo as if a machine gun was shooting at him.

Man Qi decided to defeat Ye Mo with everything he had after testing his ability using the hammer, which indeed proved that Ye Mo wasn’t the average joe.

Yet, Ye Mo remained where he stood despite being attacked. He kept spinning his spear as the Dragon Energies in both of his hands roared. With all of his energy gathered on the technique, Ye Mo evoked the Dragon Rampaging in the Wild as a black barrier formed around him.

As the palms landed on the barrier, Ye Mo could feel immense pressure from them. The cracks on the arena became wider and wider until it collapsed.

A few warriors that were standing under the stage were sent flying away from the pressure as the others took a few steps back.

“He took my attack head on again?” Man Qi shouted in awe.

As the Energy Palms disappeared, Man Qi launched himself into the air and punched straight towards Ye Mo. Ye Mo sheathed his spear and responded with a punch of his own that was reinforced by 12 Dragon Energies.

The two fists met and sent a shockwave into the crowd. Ye Mo was pressed straight into the collapsed stage.

“Too weak!” Man Qi laughed as he landed.

“This is the power of an Energy Shaping First Realm? It’s nothing!” Ye Mo shouted as he jumped out from the pit and landed in front of Man Qi. His shirt was torn as blood dripped from his mouth.

The crowd was already staring in awe, especially the clan leaders that were standing on the tower. They never thought that Ye Mo could fight toe to toe with Man Qi who was an Energy Shaping First Realm warrior.

Even Half-Energy Shaping Realm warrior couldn’t achieve that feat.

Even Man Qi was stunned by the fact that Ye Mo only suffered minor injuries after taking three straight hits from him. Even Man Hu would’ve suffered serious injuries if he was in Ye Mo’s place.

Yet Man Qi also knew from their exchange that Ye Mo’s attack power was only slightly stronger than Man Hu’s. He guessed that there must be a treasure on Ye Mo that allowed him to defend himself.

Man Qi smiled as he pictured himself getting the treasure over Ye Mo’s dead body.

“Not bad! Let’s see if you can defend against my next attack!” Man Qi smirked as a 100 feet energy giant appeared behind him. It was as if the giant was an ancient deity, holding the thunder god’s hammer in one hand. The giant roared, and the ground began to shake wildly.

As the crowd witnessed the power before them, they began to taste fear. Not one of them dared to challenge the giant by themselves. If the giant were to bring his hammer down, the plaza would’ve been destroyed.

“This is the Descent of the Barbarian God!” Qin Hao shouted as his face changed. “Warriors who are not in the Energy Shaping are to keep themselves at least a hundred meters away from the giant!”

“This is bad!” Ye Mo mumbled as his expression tightened. He held his spear in his hand and charged towards the giant like a dragon was swimming in the ocean. The Descent of the Barbarian God was just the appetizer; the most terrifying part of the technique was Man Qi’s Thunder Strike.

The technique, Dragon Emerging from the Ocean, was both an attacking and defending technique. The spearhead has turned into a black drill as if a dragon was drilling its way towards the threat.

Man Qi laughed at Ye Mo as the energy and space around the giant began to bend. The giant brought his hammer down towards Ye Mo. The sky darkened as purple lightning filled the sky that could strike fear into the hearts of both demons and deities. One strike from the hammer was enough to cause serious injury to an Energy Shaping First Realm warrior.

“Die!” Man Qi shouted.

“Not good!” Xiao Yuanshan reacted to the attacked as his expression changed. He could feel the power of the Thunder Strike and began to worry that Ye Mo might not be able to defend against it.

The Barbarians all looked at Ye Mo as if they were all waiting for his death.

“I don’t have time to evade it!” Ye Mo shouted to himself. He pushed all of his Dragon Energies as the speed of his attack rose. Just as the hammer hit Ye Mo, Ye Mo dug his spear into Man Qi’s body.

Bolts that was as thick as an arm struck Ye Mo, causing him to feel numb all over his body as he began to lose his consciousness.

“Brother Ye Mo!” Ling’er shouted. “These bolts are all energies! You should be able to absorb them!”

With the help of the Rising Dragon Pillar, Ye Mo sucked all of the bolts into his body. When he looked at his Energy Center, he could see five dragons opening their eyes and breaking free from the pillar.

Even if Ye Mo had absorbed the bolts, he was still hit by them. Once again, he found himself in a pit while blood began to flow down from Man Qi’s shoulder where Ye Mo’s spear had hit him.

“It’s your loss, Ye Mo! Even Half-Energy Shaping Realm warriors couldn’t take this attack head on!”
