Humanity!

This was what Lu Li deemed as important. Lu Li believed that the basic factor for being a human being was to have humanity. Without humanity, humans were no longer humans.

Lu Li had adopted a cruel and strict solution. For one thing, what the human warriors had done to the civilian Asmodians and to the female Asmondians were brutal. More importantly, he aspired to preserve the humanity of the human race. He could not let the human race turn violent and vicious or let “the true, the good and the beautiful” qualities slip from a human’s mind.

Imagine humans being tortured and abused by Asmodians and the Feather Race. The humans being assaulted, year in and year out. Gradually, the whole human race’ nature changed.

They thought torture was natural. Maybe, the whole human race would have a change of heart after dozens of years. Could they already be called humans by then if that was the case?

If the whole human race continued to be unreasonable, bloodthirsty and immoral, like beasts, then humans would be the ones to end themselves, without being wiped out by other races.

That was not the result Lu Li wanted to see. Therefore, leveraging his authority, he punished the warriors as a warning to others. He wanted to teach the world a lesson by using the Lu Family and Jiang Family’s disciples as an example—what they did was wrong. At least while he was still around, those acted unruly would suffer grave consequences.

“Darling, you are right!”

Lu Li explained to them the details and reasoning of his actions. Bai Xiashuang was the first one to give him praise. Truth be told, she did not fully understand. Everything Lu Li did was right to her…

“Grand Master, you are a visionary, noble and righteous. You have our utmost respect!”

Patriarch Sun and the others did understand. They bowed to their waist, solemnly. They felt fortunate. If Lu Li had not realized the problem, it could spiral to a disaster in the long run.

“Sure, I understand!”

Jiang Qiling and Bai Qiuxue straightened out their thinking. They looked at each other, their eyes glowed. They had a completely new view of Lu Li. He was young, but he was a visionary, which was respectful and admirable.

“Come on, let’s go and meet this Beast God!”

Lu Li took a rest and then put the matter of the Ocean Land of the East behind. He waved at Patriarch Sun. The group flew to a mountain in the distance. In the mountain was a large cave, shrouded by mist. Inside was a portal to the Underworld Realm.

Lu Li did not let his three wives back into the Wicked Bead. He promised them a trip. Also, it was only one Beast God. Lu Li was not worried.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh~”

In the cave, Patriarch Sun and the other patriarchs explored the path. They all had jade talismans in their hands and could warn Lu Li at any time.

“Wow, wow~”

The cave was filled with mist, and it was blurring their vision. Their mission—to kill the Beast God—was thrilling and exciting. Bai Xiashuang could not stop screaming in joy along the way. Her cheeks blushed.

“There, there, Shuang-er, don’t shout. You’ll disturb our husband.”

Bai Qiuxue took Bai Xiashuang’s hands. The former was at the middle stage of the Human Sovereign Realm, and her Enchantment had not progressed to the third level. Hence, she was not quite strong in fights yet. She had to be careful because their enemy was a Beast God.

“Little White!”

Little White who was sleeping in the Wicked Bead was woken up by Lu Li. He had Little White stand on Bai Xiashuang’s shoulders. He told Little White, “Your job is to protect Shuang-er. Later, I have to fight a big guy.”

“Squeak, squeak~”

Little White stood on Bai Xiashuang’s shoulder proudly. Of the three wives, Little White’s favorite was Bai Xiashuang. Lu Li often left Little White in the Deserted World to keep Bai Xiashuang company.

“Hee, Little White is awesome.”

Bai Xiashuang was fond of Little White. She patted its head. It made Little White prouder.

“Move!”

Patriarch Sun had arrived at the entrance. Lu Li led his three wives in and nodded to Patriarch Sun. He and four others went into the portal first to explore the way.

After a while, one of Lu Li’s jade talisman glowed. He nodded and said, “It’s safe. Let’s go.”

Lu Li’s wives were swept off their feet. Lu Li stepped into the portal with the three of them. After a glare, they showed up in a bizarre world.

This small world was not small, which could be proved by the Xuan Qi in heaven and earth. The Xuan Qi here was even richer than that of the Deserted World. By theory, this small world should be larger than the Deserted World.

They were currently at a valley between two smaller mountains. In front of them was a more majestic mountain with many streams and waterfalls. Viewed from the distance, the trickling rivers were thickly dotted on the mountain, and small waterfalls were everywhere. The view was quite picturesque.

There were no Xuan Beasts or other ferocious animals around. In the river, they did see some strange fish and a jellyfish. Trees and other florals flourished. The air was refreshing.

“Whoosh~”

Patriarch Sun and three other patriarchs came to Lu Li. The former cupped his fist and said, “It is safe here. Brother Hu has gone to search the surroundings.”

“Are there any maps or documents about the Underworld Realm?”

Lu Li asked. “We don’t have any map. According to the information we have, the Underworld Realm is covered with rivers and people could easily get lost here. There is no human, or Asmodian, or any other ancient race residing here. But this world does have quite a large number of Xuan Beasts of various kinds, especially in the water. That Beast God lives in the water, in the largest river deep inside this world. However, the patriarchs that came last time did not see the Beast God before they were beaten or injured.” Patriarch Sun answered.

“Okay, let’s go!”

Lu Li was sure. He took out the Bead of Life and let his three wives stood on it. He flew at a moderate speed. He threw a jade talisman into the mountain when he left the valley. He could tell the direction by sensing the location of the jade talisman so as not to lose his way out.

“There are many rivers around!”

Outside the valley, Lu Li and his group took a look. All they could see was rivers and streams. The landscape was similar to a broken mirror with the rivers intertwined together and thickly dotted.

“Bang, bang, bang!”

From the distance came some noises. Lu Li checked with psychic power. Two patriarchs were fighting the Xuan Beasts. From a river came out many Xuan Beasts that were charging towards the two patriarchs.

“Wow, what kind of Xuan Beasts are they? They are pretty!”

Even though her realm was low, Bai Xiashuang did reach the middle stage of the Noble Lord Realm. Her psychic power was strong enough to reach the battlefield. She did not feel nervous to see the Xuan Beasts fighting the two patriarchs. As a matter of fact, she was excited.

In the distance was a large river with lots of pretty fishes swimming around. Those fish had two fins and had various colors. Water arrows came out from their mouths, and those arrows varied in color as well. Tens of thousands of such little fish had come. It was quite a spectacular view when seen from afar.

But those fishes were of low levels. They were probably at the fourth or fifth rank. On the other hand, the two patriarchs were at the Earth Immortal Realm. To those two, dealing with the fishes was easy. They smashed away hundreds of fishes every time they made a move.

“Splash~”

All of a sudden, the rivers in the distance had been disturbed. Lu Li checked with psychic power. “This place indeed has many Xuan Beasts. Some bigger ones have come. Patriarch Sun, go ahead and kill them. Let’s see if we can lure out their Beast God.” Lu Li said while grinning.
