When Lu Li and Ming Yu arrived, they saw several people coming towards them. At the front were three elders with two young masters and a young lady under their protection. They were running at the top of their speeds, scared to their bones, apparently.
When those at the front saw Ming Yu and Lu Li, the young lady and the two young masters were overjoyed. One of the young masters said, "Save us, save us, we don’t want to die."
The young lady was crying. She looked at Ming Yu and Lu Li with begging eyes. One elder of the Eternal Realm acted as if he had seen a straw to clutch at and he shouted, "My lord, young master, we are from the Han Family of the Mystic Fire Region. They are our family’s young masters and young lady. Please save us. The Han Family will reward you greatly."
Lu Li and Ming Yu had no idea where the Mystic Fire Region was and they were not after rewards. Lu Li nodded and said, "Go on and we will stop the Gargoyle Rats for you."
"Thank you, young master!"
Those people were excited. Granted, they had more than 10 warriors of the Eternal Realm but only two of them were at the peak. They could not stop so many Gargoyle Rats.
Ming Yu rushed over. He immediately released his Force when he saw crowds of big rats coming his way. Those crazy rats stopped at once.
"Roar, roar~"
Some poisoned men came as well. Two of them were at the Eternal Realm. Since they could not use Xuan Energy now, their abilities were greatly diminished.
Ming Yu and Lu Li cooperate quite well. Lu Li moved as 100 clone shadows appeared. He moved about in the nearby area so that his shadows could be everywhere.

All the human rats were killed. Those that had run away had gone for more than a mile now. Lu Li and Ming Yu quietly left after Lu Li released more shadows.
Soon, they caught up. What made them speechless was that… they made another encounter of Gargoyle Rats. There were only four of them but those from the Han Family still had a hard time dealing with the rats.
Seeing that Lu Li and Ming Yu come over, they were cheered up. Ming Yu moved closer and stopped the four Gargoyle Rats with Force.
The elder at the peak of the Eternal Realm that spoke to Lu Li made sure that the Gargoyle Rats could not attack now. He turned to Lu Li and said, "Young Master, can you take our ladies and young masters away with you? Our deaths are not to be regretted, but our young masters and young lady are in the prime of their lives. They are the hope of our Family. With us, they don’t have much of a chance to live."
Lu Li could not make any promises of this kind. With three additional people, none of them could live if they run into a large number of Gargoyle Rats. He would not go with them who would simply be a liability.
Lu Li thought for a bit and said, "I am sorry, but we cannot take three of them. We don’t have the abilities."
Lu Li’s words drenched the fire of hope for the young lady and the two young masters. Their expressions grew gloomy, but the elder at the peak of the Eternal Realm heard something from Lu Li’s words. Taking a look at the vulnerable girl next to him, the elder said to Lu Li, "Then can you please bring our young lady with you? The Han Family will be greatly indebted to you."
The young lady seemed to be only 13 or 14 years old. She was a vulnerable poor little girl. She was pretty but her looks were not so good right now because of the fear.
Lu Li was hesitating. The young girl was only at the later stage of the Soul Pond Realm. For Lu Li and Ming Yu, this girl could only slow them down. What if the girl dragged them down?
But Lu Li saw the hopes in the girl’s eyes and then he turned to Ming Yu to ask his opinion. In the end, Lu Li couldn’t be as cruel as the thought. He nodded yes.
What surprised Lu Li was that the two 14 or 15-year-old young masters were not upset at all that the young lady could go with Lu Li. So the young lady must be of high status at the Han Family.
The elder of the peak of the Eternal Realm was very happy. He came over with the young lady, bowed and asked, "Thank you very much. Can you tell me your name, young master, so the Han Family can reward your good deeds?"
"I am Lu Li."

This young lady called Han Yue spent her journey in terror. She was nervous to go with two strange men, men that were wearing scary masks. She was so young that she didn’t have much experience. It was normal that she would get scared.
Lu Li looked at Han Yue. He suddenly took off his mask, smiled at her and said, "Don’t be afraid. We are good people. We will protect you."
Looking at Lu Li’s kind face, Han Yue somehow felt better. She nodded. Ming Yu rushed on. They soon ran into Gargoyle Rats again. There were too many rats around here that nowhere was safe.
Actually, one more person made no difference for Lu Li and Ming Yu. They would cooperate by confusing Gargoyle Rats and then quietly leave.
"Roar, roar~"
Two hours later, Lu Li met with more than 10 human rats, seven or eight of them were escorts of the Eternal Realm of the Pavilion of Delicacy. There were dozens of bodies with flesh chewed off and blood drained.
