“I’ve asked Ah Si to investigate. I don’t know who just yet but in this matter, the person is either against you or me.”
When Jiang Xuecheng’s grave voice entered her ears, Su Wan was taken aback. There was no doubt if the person was against her but why would the person be against Jiang Xuecheng?
“Can’t the person be against Gu Zihang?”

The main characters of this secret meeting were her and Gu Zihang. As the CEO of Gu Group, being exposed to such scandals would certainly damage the company’s image.

Seeing Gu Zihang in suit and leather shoes in the picture, Jiang Xuecheng sneered. How he wished he could beat him up again.

“He is fast to clarify things.”
When Jiang Xuecheng’s voice entered Su Wan’s ears, Su Wan did not miss the cold disdain in his voice.

Su Wan was taken aback. Before she could even respond, Jiang Xuecheng had seized her waist and brought her into his embrace.
“Wan Wan, I don’t like to make assumptions but if that sort of things were to happen, you wouldn’t be at fault. I’d only hate myself for not protecting you well.”
Jiang Xuecheng held Su Wan’s face and every word he uttered was serious with a little loneliness.
Su Wan had not expected Jiang Xuecheng to have this thought. She knew she had said something wrong. Her heart shook and she quickly seized his palm.
“I’m wrong. I didn’t mean to upset you. It’s just that sometimes, it’s amazing to think that we can be together and even feel worried and afraid to lose each other.”
It didn’t feel real probably because Jiang Xuecheng loved and doted on her too much. Women were probably deaf to all words. Jiang Xuecheng was excellent but it only added to her fear of losing him.
“Do I make you feel insecure?”
Jiang Xuecheng tapped Su Wan’s waist helplessly and then lowered his head. Seeing Jiang Xuecheng’s intention to kiss her, Su Wan’s heart beat in disorder.
Su Wan tilted her face slightly and was about to take the initiative when Jiang Xuecheng’s face switched directions and went next to her ear.
“Wan Wan, marry me.”
Upon hearing this, Su Wan was astonished as she tilted her head. She shook her hand, showing the ring on her hand and put it next to Jiang Xuecheng’s ring.
“Aren’t we married?”
Jiang Xuecheng smiled and his deep eyes were tightly fixed on Su Wan’s face. There was an unconcealed devotion in his expression.
“Silly girl, I mean, let’s have our wedding ceremony.”
Su Wan was taken aback when he heard Jiang Xuecheng mention it. Didn’t he say he was considering having the wedding ceremony in October the last time they had gone to the Jiang family’s old mansion?
Why was he thinking of bringing the wedding ceremony forward all of a sudden?
Ever since she saw her best friend Lin Fei’er’s marriage crisis, she didn’t have much obsession with wedding ceremonies.

Suddenly, Su Wan figured something out. She realized why and nodded. “Is it because of the Weibo topic? Are you thinking of giving the media an account?”
They did not explain a word when the media had interviewed them earlier on and had been misunderstood as having a guilty conscience. It would indeed be the best way to counter-attack by holding their wedding ceremony.
At least it’d stop the reporters’ mouth from saying they had a broken marriage. It would be much better than any clarification media release!
Jiang Xuecheng couldn’t help laughing upon hearing what Su Wan said. He stretched his hand to tap Su Wan’s nose.
“You’re being silly again. How could I have a wedding because of the media?”
He only wanted to hold a grand wedding for the one he loved.
This incident was an opportunity at best but most importantly, the present he was preparing for Su Wan had been completed.
He had been preparing this gift carefully for a long time and had been dragging the wedding because he wanted to give her a surprise.
“Why, then?”
Su Wan was confused. When she was about to make a careful inquiry, she saw Jiang Xuecheng staring at her with lots of devotion. He held her shoulder and neck and kissed her.
The atmosphere in the room changed all of a sudden.
Jiang Xuecheng’s kiss was overbearing with a trace of tenderness, making it hard for one to refuse.
When the man’s scorching hot breath came closer, Su Wan felt as if she had been splashed with hot oil and couldn’t think about the problem just now.
“Wan Wan, I love you.”
Jiang Xuecheng’s hand caressed Su Wan’s cheeks. His voice was soft but firm.
Su Wan’s long eyelashes fluttered gently. She answered softly, “Me too. We have agreed that your current life and your next life belong to me and you can’t regret in the future.”
Jiang Xuecheng was amused by Su Wan’s tone of voice when he heard Su Wan imitating him. He instantly sealed her lips.
To a cold person like him, only the woman in front of him called Su Wan could fit in his heart and nothing else.
