“The Boss is here. Squishy players, be more careful when you’re dealing damage. Make sure you don’t enter the top three on the aggro chart. Wandering, make sure you’re up there on the aggro chart, but don’t draw aggro away from the Main Tank accidentally,” Lu Li reminded everyone as the little ghoul charged towards them.

Although he was only a mini boss, Timmy was definitely a lot stronger than he looked.

He might not have been much of a threat for Plate Armor classes, but because of his high Attack and high Armor Penetration, the Cloth Armor classes would usually be one-hit. Timmy was infamous for being a Cloth Armor class killer.

Even after the players progressed through the game, when high-level mages revisited this Boss, they would still have a very high chance of dying.

There was actually a small shortcut behind the nearby house which allowed players to avoid this Boss. As more and more players heard about Timmy’s background story, they could no longer bring themselves to kill the little ghoul, but Lu Li wasn’t much of a sympathetic person. From his perspective, he thought that Timmy would probably prefer to die rather than to live on like a zombie.

Lu Li recalled a quest that could help Timmy pass on to the afterlife and make him an NPC in Undercity.

Unfortunately, the quest could only be complete by Horde players, so there was nothing he could do to help him. If he could attempt the quest to help Timmy, he would have.

Azure Sea Breeze charged forwards and the Ghoul’s sharp claws scraped into his shield with a piercing metallic sound.

More than 170 points of damage appeared above his head.

“He’s got really high Attack, but not much defense. He doesn’t have any healing either,” the Main Tank reported back to his team.

Lu Li knew that this was only the beginning of the fight. When Timmy entered Berserk mode, his physical Attack and Attack Speed would both dramatically increase. When that happened, it wouldn’t matter what kind of armor you wore.

Timmy had a skill called Ravenous Claw that inflicted physical damage and healed 400 points of HP. If it wasn’t for his low defense and HP, Timmy would likely be extremely difficult to deal with.

However, since he was only lv47, his HP rapidly dropped under the relentless assault of Lu Li’s party.

Timmy did not say anything and remained silent the whole time.

Sometimes, he would stop attacking, revealing his dark and eerie eyes to the players.

They could see traces of his former human form; he wasn’t as ugly and disfigured as the other ghouls. Taking into account his appearance and the knowledge of his background story, the girls in the party couldn’t help but sympathize with him.

Because of his Lifesteal skill, it still took around 20 minutes to defeat him. The EXP reward was quite plentiful, but there were no skill points awarded.

Remnant Dream looted a hunting rifle.

Lil Timmy’s Peashooter (Dark Gold): 62-88 damage, +42 agility, +36 strength, +20% accuracy, +2 Enchantment slots. Special Effect 1: Chance of causing the target to fall over when attacking, disabling them for 2 seconds. Special Effect 2: Jump – Allows the user to jump 15 yards in a chosen direction, cooldown 30 minutes. Special Effect 3: Enrage – Physical Damage +30%, Attack Speed +20%, 20 second duration, 10 minute cooldown. Requires Level 45. Durability 115/115.

Engraved on the side of the rifle were the following words: “When Timmy was little, he liked to hide in different parts of town to scare others with his peashooter.”

Remnant Dream looked at Lu Li with her big puppy eyes.

The most valuable piece of equipment wasn’t dependent on its price but on its suitability. The stats on this weapon were excellent, including high attack and 20% accuracy, along with crowd-control, mobility and attack buff special effects. This was a perfect weapon for Remnant Dream, especially because she had always struggled with accuracy.

The gun was only slightly better than her previous bow, but she was extremely happy with it.

The second item was a Synthetic Stone – damage increased by 10%. This was quite a useful stone and Lu Li decided he might as well give it to Remnant Dream because there were two sockets on her new weapon. She planned on looking for another stone when she returned back to town.

The next Boss was also a mini Boss – his name was Forresten from Darrowshire. He had a beautiful and enchanting voice like a nightingale, and would often stand by the glowing blue lake underneath the moonlight, singing to the love of his life.

The Culling of Stratholme claimed the lives of innumerable people, whose only crimes were being in the doomed city. Forresten, a traveling singer and piccolo player named was one such victim. He continued to wander the city in death, unable to accept his tragic fate. As a ghost, he was still able to play the instruments he once loved, however, he could no longer sing as there was no one to listen to him. Music and freedom was no longer a reality of his; everything that happened seemed to be no more than a dream.

Forresten was a Yellow Health monster.

Yellow Health was a term that originated from other games and had remained in the gaming community. This basically meant that the monster was passive and would not attack unless provoked.

However, he needed to be killed because he dropped good loot.

Azure Sea Breeze smashed his shield into Forresten’s face, enraging him. Though he used to be a gentleman, he had lost his patience and kindness over the years.

Forresten immediately casted Multi-Shot, taking out a chunk of everyone’s HP. March Rain reacted quickly and began to cast an group heal, but she was stopped by Lu Li. Multi-Shot had a large area-of-effect, but the damage was quite low and it had a long cooldown. It would be a waste to use up the AOE heal skill at this point.

There were very few AOE heals skills at this stage of the game; March Rain only had two.

Forresten’s signature skill was a powerful crowd-control ability called Enchanting Lullaby, which sang the target to sleep for up to 20 seconds and dealt 5% HP per second.

If left alone, the target affected by Enchanting Lullaby would be dead for sure.

Lu Li wanted March Rain to save her AOE skill for a more dire situation.

After taking down 1/3rd of his HP, Forresten put away his crossbow and took out his piccolo. Azure Sea Breeze was not aware of the Enchanting Lullaby and laughed, “Haha, look guys – he’s given up because he knows he can’t win. He’s gonna play us a song while we beat him to death.”

Forresten did as he was told and everyone fell into deep slumber. Their HP began dropping rapidly as time went by.

“March Rain, use your badge active and heal everyone,” Lu Li said instructed

March Rain followed his orders and casted an AOE heal skill, saving them from danger.
