Teng Guan eyed her from the corner of his vision. He saw that his lightning and flames were simply passing through her body.
He gritted his teeth and bent his knees.

Erkigal frowned and glanced in Ice Death’s direction.

Isabella nodded with the same expression. She knew that escaping from their hands would be difficult, and even her instincts were signaling that death was approaching.
"What really happened?" Isabella asked.
Before Erkigal could answer, Ice Death interrupted her.
"How about you tell us what you learned in that place? We won’t bother you as long as you give us its location and information about it," he asked in an amused tone.
He hadn’t bothered himself with her before since Erkigal was unconscious, but it was a different matter now.
"As if you didn’t know about it," Erkigal replied contemptuously.
"We know, but we don’t know everything. Moreover, we don’t know its exact location. That’s why I’m asking you." Ice Death opened his arms helplessly. "We wouldn’t even bother attacking this empire if not for that thing."
They hadn’t even bothered investigating the Great Shen Empire before making a move.
