The Elven Cultivator

Chapter 268 - 245: This Elf Must Die

Chapter 268: Chapter 245: This Elf Must Die

The sharp, piercing sound of the sword-light tearing through the air was a dense, continuous barrage, like a metallic dirge.

The Ice Thorn Dragon’s pupils contracted into thin slits.

It instinctively sensed a fatal threat. Frantically, it channeled the Ice Cold Law within its body, pushing its Magic Power to the absolute limit.

At a rate visible to the naked eye, moisture in the air condensed, forming layer after layer of thick, crystalline ice armor on its body.

The ice armor was stacked in layers, like the strata of a glacier. Each layer was about a meter thick and radiated a grim, bone-chilling aura.

However, the sharpness of the sword-light was far beyond its imagination.

In a single clash, the crystalline ice armor shattered, exploding into a maelstrom of ice shards.

The sword-light shot through the curtain of ice shards, crisscrossing over the Ice Thorn Dragon’s massive body as fast as a flash of light.

In an instant, scales shattered and flesh flew everywhere.

The Ice Thorn Dragon let out a piercing shriek. It hurriedly manipulated its Power of Law, forming countless Ice Cones that it shot in all directions, attempting to block the sword-light.

However, after advancing to a mid-grade Profound Artifact, the Sword Pill’s power had increased significantly.

The most noticeable changes were the drastic increases in the sword-light’s single-target attack power and speed.

Before the dense torrent of sword-light, the Ice Cones were like pebbles tossed into a raging current. They were shredded into a fine mist of ice without so much as making a splash.

The Ice Thorn Dragon’s struggles were futile.

About five minutes later, a beam of sword-light pierced through the Ice Thorn Dragon’s head.

The sharp energy contained within the sword-light erupted the instant it pierced through. Like a blooming metal flower, it shredded the massive dragon’s head from the inside out, turning it into a mist of blood that filled the air.

The Ice Thorn Dragon’s agonized shriek cut off abruptly.

Its massive body suddenly went rigid.

The next instant, hundreds of beams of sword-light surged from all directions, completely engulfing it.

SHINK! SHINK! SHINK!

The muffled thuds of flesh being sliced were as dense as a downpour.

In the span of just two breaths, the Ice Thorn Dragon’s massive body was completely turned into a mist of blood, which the sword-light then swept away, leaving not even a single scale behind.

For a moment, the battlefield seemed to fall silent.

Even though allies and enemies were locked in a life-or-death struggle, countless gazes were involuntarily drawn to the sight.

As they watched the blood mist rapidly dissipate, expressions of shock and disbelief appeared on every face.

Less than fifteen minutes had passed since the battle began.

’A Giant Dragon has already fallen?’

"Holy hell!"

Ignatius’s eyes widened, his whole beard trembling with excitement.

’He’d heard from Grant that Anton was strong, but he never imagined he’d be *this* strong.’

’He’d slain a Legendary Giant Dragon as effortlessly as slicing a melon.’

’And a Giant Dragon empowered by the power of Subspace, no less!’

’This level of power is far beyond that of a newly minted Legend!’

Valin swung his warhammer, forcing back the Azure Abyss Dragon before him. He glanced over at Anton, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.

In a corner of the battlefield, Byron looked as if he had just seen a ghost.

’That damned Elf... he’s actually that powerful?’

A chill ran down Byron’s back as he remembered provoking Anton to his face back in Ranfeng Hall.

’If Anton had decided to attack him right then and there...’

Byron’s cheek twitched.

The Giant Dragons fighting the allied army were also shaken to the core by the sight.

"Who is that guy?"

"That sword-light looks so familiar... I remember now! It’s the Fallen Dragon Sword Saint!"

"That’s the damned Elf who killed Isaac!"

"So it’s him!"

The moment the name was spoken, countless gazes filled with murderous intent instantly focused on Anton.

When it came to the person the Giant Dragons currently hated the most, Anton was definitely near the top of the list.

He was second only to the Five-Star Pillars of the Fallen Dragon Association.

If he hadn’t killed Isaac and exposed the truth that the Dragon Race had lost the Dragon God’s protection, the allied army would never have united to act so quickly. They certainly wouldn’t have reached the Holy Dragon Mountain Range this soon.

They wouldn’t be in this predicament!

’This Elf must die!’

At that instant, the same thought surfaced in the mind of every Giant Dragon.
