"Ah, Wei Yao, are Wu Yun and Liu Ping here? I have something to discuss with you all," Chen Jinglou said with a smile, trying hard to appear amicable.
But Wei Yao looked at Chen Jinglou with great caution and fell silent.
"Would you like our conversation to be overheard?" Tianmiao suddenly interjected, pointing at Wei Yao’s wrist. That’s where a chip implant would be.
Wei Yao was stunned. Who was this chubby kid with the childish voice? Why was this little one speaking in such a mature and pointed manner? A child shouldn’t be saying something so worldly-wise.
"Let’s go inside to talk. I think I can possibly join you," Chen Jinglou suggested.
Wei Yao still didn’t budge, frowning and hesitating.
"Then I’ll have to shout out what you’re up to, and then it will know, and your plan will be ruined!" Tianmiao said, nudging Wei Yao’s wrist. After all, she looked like a pesky kid now, might as well do what pesky kids do.
"Get in here now!" This made Wei Yao anxious, hurrying to step aside and let the two of them in.
After the two entered, Wei Yao squeezed in too, then quickly closed the door with a snap.
Inside the room were two others, Wu Yun and Liu Ping, the other two high-IQ students.
Seeing Chen Jinglou appear, both were astonished and stood up. Wei Yao had just said there was someone outside, but they didn’t believe it at first.
