 Yurif was a veteran amongst veterans, and the time he had served in the army was only two years less than Steven.

Therefore, if veterans like him rejoined society and wished to perform heinous deeds, normal people simply could not stop them.

Although most of their battle experience was with modern firearms, some of that skill carried over to other types of weapons.

Wei Xiao Bei ordered Steven to search for and destroy Sacred Beetle Descendants but to stay within a two-kilometer radius from where they currently stood. Satisfied, he then headed toward the blazing mountain range.

Before the soldiers left the Dust World, Wei Xiao Bei needed to kill more Yong and bathe in their blood to upgrade his two special skills.

After all, he had to deal with the problem of what would happen when the soldiers returned back to the real world. If he couldn’t think of a solution the soldiers would become useless as they would be imprisoned by the US government.

While running, Wei Xiao Bei was using [Response Search] to its maximum potential, even if doing so decreased the amount of time he could stay in the Dust World.

However, this was not a problem as all he needed to do was kill Yongs.

Soon, a Yong that was in the midst of catching a Giant Black Scorpion had appeared in distance.

When he saw the Yong, the other party also noticed him.

Wei Xiao Bei immediately became stunned. The Yong was actually flapping its wings to run away instead of attacking him.

 What is going on?

Wei Xiao Bei immediately smelled himself and could not help but hit himself on the head.

He had forgotten that he had bathed in Yong’s blood twice. Such a strong smell had traveled with the wind, so the Yong was aware of the danger and could even sense hidden killing intent coming from Wei Xiao Bei.

The Yong was not stupid enough to attack someone who was powerful enough to kill its kin.

Although it was running away Wei Xiao Bei did not give up, pursuing closely behind it.

If it was a Scarlet Pheasant, then it would have already escaped from him.

However, the Yong was not very fast and as Wei Xiao Bei continued to chase it he was able to consistently close the gap between them.

Seeing Wei Xiao Bei approaching closely behind it, the Yong immediately let out a shriek and let go of the Giant Black Scorpion in an attempt to increase its speed.

However, it would have a hard time escaping now that he had marked it.

Wei Xiao Bei was able to quickly reach the Yong, closing the distance between them to less than four meters.

Wei Xiao Bei made a slight movement and raised his right hand. A spear suddenly appeared, acting like a snake leaping at its prey, shooting straight at the Yong.

The great spear had run right through the Yong and it only lost its momentum once it was buried deep in the creature.

After suffering such a strong attack, the Yong could not fly anymore, letting out a miserable cry and dropping to the ground.

Suddenly, more than ten Yongs had appeared ahead.

There was no doubt that these Yongs were summoned by the Yong that he had injured.

In truth, if Wei Xiao Bei was still a 2-Star Creature, he would definitely run away if he encountered a group of Yongs this large.

However, Wei Xiao Bei did not run away, pulling out his Hard Metal Jian and charging toward the Yong that were moving towards him.

A familiar, corrosive pain spread all over Wei Xiao Bei’s body.

In the blink of an eye, he approached the second Yong he killed and repeated his earlier actions, bathing in its blood.

After being bathed in Yong’s blood, again and again, Wei Xiao Bei’s body gradually changed.

To level up this skill, the host needs to bathe in the blood of monsters with a higher rank.

 Desertification (Basic): After continuously bathing in Yong’s blood, Moisture Absorption has changed. The host can now absorb all fluids within a meter radius.
