Chapter 647 - Battle in the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect Pt. 2

Chapter 647 Battle in the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect Pt. 2

After the fierce warning, all kinds of shrilling alarm sounds broke the silence of the area.

The black range had been quiet at first. Black flames rose up right after. A killing intent that could even cut your skin began to permeate between heaven and earth. Wall of black light seemed to be coming out of thin air, cutting the place into different areas. Even space started to become twisted, making people have a distorted and unrealistic feeling.

“Haha, there will be no more Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect from this day on.”

While they laughed, a fair and chubby fatty flew out from among the hundreds of figures.

The fatty’s flesh was almost about to tear his robe open. He was holding an emerald green three-legged cauldron and casting a spell with his hands; terrifying auras immediately began to permeate in the vicinity.

The three-legged cauldron was the size of a palm at first. It turned into a gigantic thing hundreds of meters tall when the fatty flashed it in the wind. Flower, bird, fish, and insect patterns were carved on its surface. Then, the patterns were all transformed into living things and started to attack the walls of black light.

Various roars and howls of animals instantly resounded in the sky.

The gigantic cauldron was like a massive teleportation gate that released appalling creatures. A strong creature would come to life every time a pattern flashed; it would then roar as it attacked the light walls.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Countless broken pieces of the light walls fell like withered black butterflies, while horrifying explosion sounds were heard–just like those that would be heard on doomsday.

Most of the defense formations in that mountain range had actually been destroyed at that moment.

Many black mountains fell and were completely crushed. Earth veins broke; all kinds of energy flows clashed. The area transformed into a huge killing machine. Numerous Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect disciples hiding in different places were either hurt or killed at that moment.

A shout rang out from the black range, “The Blue Cloud Formation-Shattering Cauldron? Is the Blue Cloud Sect here too? We’ve never held a grudge against each other. Why would you attack our Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect?”

Then, figures dashed out toward the sky from the farthest parts of the range, leaving streaks of light in the void, as if a swarm of bees were surrounding the zone.

“Haha, Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect, weren’t the things you’ve done exposed? You sent experts into the Snow Province to stir up wars and attack sects of the Human Clan. You’ve done something you shouldn’t, and today you should pay the price!” The fatty Song Que laughed.

He had activated a quasi-supreme weapon, the Blue Cloud Formation-Shattering Cauldron, and consumed too much Qi in the process. His body shook in the air because of it; Lin Tianyu and Wang Linghe hurried to support him.

Ding Hao also offered him a piece of top-grade Qi-restoring pill.

A shocked and angry voice rang from a distance. “Extermination Swordsmanship Sect, Blue Cloud Sect… Well, well, well, the two top sects in the Northern Region joined hands to attack our Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect. We feel honored!”

Then, figures flashed and then thousands of Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect experts descended from the sky. The leading man had covered half of his face with a bronze mask. His hair was as black as ink and he was of lean build. Swords lights were flowing in his eyes, which showed his great strength; even lights around him became distorted.

“You should have thought about this outcome long ago, when you slaughtered the Swordsmanship-seeking Sect’s disciples.” Ding Hao smiled contemptuously, not showing a trace of weakness.

“Today is the true beginning of my revenge.

“Qi Qingshan, Li Jianyi, Tang Folei… You must be watching this from above, right?”

“Hmm? Who are you? You’re a nobody. Scram! You don’t deserve to talk to me!” The expert with the bronze mask sounded quite overbearing. He still acted tough while being in such a predicament; his attitude was domineering and arrogant.

Ding Hao slowly drew out the rusted sword and the devil saber, then took one step at a time in the air.

Shocking killing intent was brewing in his eyes. He said, “I’m just a practitioner from the Swordsmanship-seeking Sect located in the Snow Province. My name is Ding Hao. You’re the leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect. All right. Today I’ll give you a taste of what it feels to watch your sect being crushed.”

“Ding Hao? The Saber and Sword Addict Ding Hao? It’s you…” The leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect was dazed by his words. Then he realized something and scoffed, “You managed to leave the Snow Province with your life. So you killed all of the men I sent over?”

Ding Hao nodded. “I killed them all.”

“Looks like I’ve underestimated you. You’ve got something and even persuaded the Blue Cloud Sect and the Extermination Swordsmanship Sect to turn against us.” The leader gnashed his teeth. “I should’ve personally gone to the Snow Province to kill all of your so-called Swordsmanship-seeking Sect people, and then chop you into pieces to avoid any further problems.”

“You still don’t regret what you’ve done even now. You caused the downfall of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect.” Killing intent was burning inside of Ding Hao.

The leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect had just admitted that he had known Han Yangjian, Wan Jiansheng, and others had conducted a masquerade in the Snow Province, but he didn’t regret it in the slightest; he didn’t even care, which was downright inhumane and cold-blooded. This revelation validated Ding Hao’s plan; this sect should really cease to exist.

The leader averted his gaze after speaking with Ding Hao.

He fixed his eyes on Song Que and Bai Quanshui. A trace of grimness flashed across his eyes as he said, “Since you two juniors have shown up here today, I guess there’s not much room for negotiation, is there?”

“The Heaven-Splitting Mountain Range could use a new master,” Bai Quanshui answered him concisely.

Song Que smirked. “Your sect has left too many gruesome cases unresolved during the past years. At least 60 to 70 sects have been crushed and your Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect was behind this. You’re rotten, having become a cancer for the Human Clan. Just one of the myriads of crimes could earn you a death sentence according to the laws enacted by the Holy Palace of Mysterious Frost.”

“Haha. What a speech! I didn’t expect that you, Blue Cloud Sect and Extermination Swordsmanship Sect, would be willing to act as minions of the Saber and Sword Addict. You’ve really shamed your sects with this decision.” The leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect laughed. “How silly of you! Today you help Ding Hao with all your might, but you’ll me nothing more than stepping stones when he rises higher to dominate the Northern Region and the whole world.”

He was trying to drive a wedge between the three.

Song Que grinned and Bai Quanshui stayed expressionless.

They had been everywhere in the Northern Region and were famous in all provinces. Their current status was a result of their strong will. How could they simply change their minds just because of a few words spewed by their enemy? Moreover, they had planned that for a long time; they would never change it.

“Fine. I won’t waste my breath since you’re too daft. You will also have to pay the price if you want our sect to die,” the leader roared and his aura surged. Domineering Qi raged like waves on the sea. The sky turned pitch-black as if ink had been poured over it. He smiled contemptuously and asked, “Which one of you dares to fight me?”

“Haha, since you old guys want to fight, we juniors will just watch.” Song Que laughed.

Before his voice died away—

A figure dashed out from behind him and went straight toward the leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect.

He was a senior expert from the Blue Cloud Sect, gray-haired and with wrinkles all over his face. He was also quite thin seemingly unable to catch his breath. By the looks of it, it seemed that he could kick the bucket at any moment. However, his move was truly terrifying; he struck out with his palm and the entire world shook. Cyan Qi waves shrouded the sky like the sea waves, directly hitting the leader.

Since they had decided to declare war against the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect, both Song Que and Bai Quanshui had made preparations.

They were the top young experts, but their strength was still a bit insufficient to challenge the senior cultivators. The Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect could be counted as a big sect in the Northern Region, one with a rich history. Their leader was rumored to have been a Martial Sage expert, whom they couldn’t hold a candle to. Therefore, super experts from both sects would need to take part in this battle.

The old Blue Cloud Sect expert who had just attacked was one of their Highest Elders. He had dominated the Northern Region in the past, rarely encountering a rival. He had also killed many demons; it had also been said that he had lived for thousands of years. He had taken part in a Sage Battlefield once; he only had a few years left to live, so Song Que invited him to fight one last time against the experts from the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect.

“It’s you? You’re still alive?” The leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect was shocked.

As the old expert struck, the unique Qi technique reminded the leader of a legendary figure, so he immediately went all out and countered the strike with all his might.

“Cough, cough, cough, you were just a kid when I met you back then. They say you can tell a man’s heart by his face. I just thought you didn’t look nice and that your face seemed evil. You indeed have led the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect astray…” The old man coughed and coughed; but the entire world seemed to be shaking every time he attacked, which was truly terrifying.

“Hmph, old guy, if it were in the past, I might be afraid of you. But now you’ve weakened; you’re no longer strong like you used to be. Yet you still dare to act tough in my area. I’ll finish you and send you to heaven.” The leader of the Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect sounded very ferocious.

He noticed that his opponent was not in good health, so he immediately continually attacked. His every move was fatal as he tried to win the glory of killing a senior expert.

The strong ones’ battle was extremely dangerous for others.

It was also the first time that Ding Hao had seen such a Martial Sage experts’ battle. It was way beyond his imagination. Even thousands of meters away, he could still feel the terrifying energy. Ding Hao guessed that his body might not be able to survive the aftermath of the battle if he got too close, for example, less than 500 meters away from the battle circle; he would be crushed to pieces.

The two experts’ bodies gave out brilliant lights. In the end, as if they had fallen into the void, their figures flashed like they were going through space gaps.

“This is what Martial Sage experts can do. They can sharply feel the rules so they can go through space gaps freely, just like traveling in time and space…” Ding Hao thought.

At that moment—

A strong force rushed out from deep within the Heaven-Splitting Mountain Range.

It was another Martial Sage expert.

Heaven-Splitting Swordsmanship Sect really wasn’t a sect to be taken lightly.

However, this time, the other two sects had prepared well as well. Beside Bai Quanshui, another aged senior expert flew out.
