Chapter 372 There’s a Road to Heaven, but You Refuse to Take

Ding Hao sneered. He waved his hand lightly, and as a result six magic weapons of Qi showed up around him. They shot out, turning into flowing light for strangulation.

Black Inflammation felt stunned and then he changed his trajectory in the air at a weird rhythm and speed. Incredibly, he dodged the strangulation from the layers of sword nets by leaping with a flash move and, appearing instantly in front of Ding Hao.

Ding Hao seemed to have expected that for a long time, and without any panic he held his hands in the void; an enormous sword of icing Qi appeared in his hand. In the sword the inscriptions of five Chinese characters from the Star Text Moving in the Box were flickering. As the sword struck in a rush, Black Inflammation was cut in two.

“Hey. Hey. Hey…” a strange laughter like a night owl came from behind.

Ding Hao continued the fight. With the bright sword light, he slashed at Black Inflammation, once again.

However, Black Inflammation, who had been cut off into four sections, was obviously uninjured. There was a slight flash in the air, and it turned into four human shadows and with the same size and aura. It was more horrifying than before. A substance, similar to killing intent, came to encircle Ding Hao.

Obviously, Ding Hao’s magic Qi weapons of inscriptions did not pose a threat to him.

Each time Black Inflammation was cut into pieces, it would turn into another attacking point. With Ding Hao waving his sword, there were more and more dark fog clusters in the sky; they seemed to have separation skills.

At that moment, the three men, Book, Sword and Painting were observing the enclosing thunder and lightning inscription jail made with Chinese characters.

Sword and Painting were not inscriptionists, but they were from the Tranquility Academy and they had an extremely brilliant vision. Naturally, they discovered that the lightning jail around them was a kind of inscription formation; the inscription was used to communicate with thunder and lightning between heaven and earth. If they wanted to get out of the jail, they had to destroy those inscriptions. But those square inscriptions were rare, they appeared not to be any inscriptions that they had seen before.

Among the three men, Book was the most learned and liked to study the way of inscriptions during his leisure time. With his tough Qi cultivation, he was an inscriptionist at the fourth rank and well-known in Snow Province. While looking at the inscriptions of square Chinese characters in the thunder and lightning all over the sky, Book felt confused and shocked. He found that he had never seen such type of inscriptions.

Sword had noticed Book’s reaction and felt surprised. As he knew that Book could not tackle the formations, he drew his sword backhand and struck a stream of sword light.

The light was so powerful that it could cut rock mountains. It struck the flickering inscription light wall like waves, but such a strike was like a clay ox entering the sea and did not make any waves.

The inscription formation was so powerful that it was beyond the three men’s imagination.

“What inscription formation is it? I have never seen it before. Unexpectedly, it actually used the power of tribulation. I’m afraid that with my strength, I cannot get out of here,” Book said and frowned. Among the three men, he knew much about inscription formations, but he couldn’t figure a way out to tackle such formation.

“Since we cannot get out of here, let’s work out a way to break the formation,” Sword showed an expression of killing intent and anger.

“How?” Painting asked and frowned.

Sword sneered and said, “The most effective way to break the inscription formation is to kill the inscriptionist.” Sword was always crazy about killing.

At that moment, Black Inflammation’s scream came from the side.

The three men turned around.

Nobody knew when Ding Hao’s silver sword of mysterious frost turned into a huge sword with burning orange flame; Ding Hao’s aura had changed completely from being cold to being hot. As he struck with his sword, the orange flame, containing an incredible killing force, lit up the dark fog and crackling burning sounds could be heard.

Black Inflammation was forced to produce signs of danger one after another.

Black Inflammation was being restrained.

In the twinkling of an eye, twenty to thirty clusters of black smoke had almost burned out, with only three or four clusters left.

Black Fog retracted suddenly and turned into a young man’s figure with an unclear face, but his eyes were blood red and very cruel. He shouted angrily, “It’s impossible. What rank is your flame? How can you control my Black Void Inflammation?”

Ding Hao said nothing. He shook the huge flame sword and it was divided into five or six smaller flame swords. In the sword bodies, the square Chinese character inscriptions were flickering. Then they turned into a flowing string of flame light, as it was pushed outward by Ding Hao with his palms; it moved to strangle Black Inflammation.

“Kill Ding Hao first!” Painting made a prompt decision. He shouted and took initiative to act.

The jade brush in his hand was shining. Drawing the outline repeatedly, with the void as paper, a one-hundred-meter-long mountain was drawn. As the strokes shook, the mountain was changed into real one magically and it was approaching Ding Hao to suppress him.

The large mountain with a huge shadow was falling down with a suffocating pressure.

“Haha. There is a road to heaven, but you refused to take it; there is no gate to hell, but you insist on going… Let me end it all today. You four, come and fight together,” Ding Hao laughed and said.

He made a gesture of grasping in the void, the Cold Sword of Hell Ice and the Scorching Hot Sabre appeared in his hands; the right half of his body was diffusing with pure silver, piercing cold air and in the left half, endless orange scorching flames were flickering. Two types of absolutely different strengths were integrated in him perfectly at that moment.

With the Scorching Hot Sabre Ding Hao launched a stroke in the void.

The huge suppressing mountain was silently cut like cheese; in two pieces, right in the middle.

With the scattered light flickering, Ding Hao flashed past the cracked mountain’s remains instantly and was right before Painting, exuding killing intent.

“So fast!” Painting was shocked; he felt that a strong wind was blowing, named by the God of Death, for him to be so suffocated.

None of them had expected that Ding Hao would take the initiative to attack them.

Clash! Clash! Clash!

A series of glaring fires exploded.

At that critical moment, Sword responded first, drawing his blade to block Ding Hao’s sword and saber. Painting was rescued, but Sword was repelled for more than ten meters and his face expression changed.

Book spread his hand; a large book like a door plank showed up.

He manually opened the book. Like a divine dragon sucking water, he raised the hand lightly and a cyan light came out of the book, rushing towards Ding Hao.

By looking carefully, it turned out to be a string of dense characters, which belonged to characters of the Land of Infinity, and it had the same effect as Ding Hao’s inscription with Chinese characters. However it had less meaning, being the most common inscription patterns in the world.

“Haha. Show off your slight skill before me.” Ding Hao laughed. He shook his ice sword in his right hand. Then the sword moved like a dragon and a strange meaning was exuded. With the sword as a brush, Ding Hao instantly wrote a string of inscriptions in the void—

“After experiencing all kinds of difficulties and hardships, we will see the light at the end of tunnel when the day is done!”
