Chapter 3349: The Invincible Origin Progenitor

Chapter 3349: The Invincible Origin Progenitor

Lu Yin’s words caused the old man to chuckle. "So, is that what you’re worried about? You need not worry. The High Seraph will not come in the next batch of reinforcements. While it is inevitable that he will arrive in the Tianyuan Megaverse, it will not be in twenty years. This means that I will still have the final say in this war against your Tianyuan Megaverse. I am also the one who can control when the reinforcements will arrive.”

Lu Yin shook his head. "The High Seraph will definitely arrive with the reinforcements. Why should I trust you?”

The old man’s eyes grew icy. "It appears, Lord Lu, that you are testing my Spirit Nidus’s honesty. I don’t want to say anything more. Will you return the sequence base or not?”

“No, I won’t,” Lu Yin stated bluntly. He had indeed been testing the old man, but he had not been able to uncover much.

Reinforcements would arrive withIn twenty years. In other words, the Spirit Nidus’s vanguard had not taken ten years to reach the Tianyuan Megaverse, but they had to have set out much earlier than that. Lu Yin could not say the exact length of the journey, but there was at least a twenty year gap between the vanguard and the first wave of reinforcements.

Besides, if the High Seraph really was not accompanying the reinforcements, there would be nothing to worry about. At the moment, the Tianyuan Megaverse had enough strength that, even if they could not compare to the Spirit Nidus, they would not immediately collapse.

That is, unless Master Qing Cao got involved.

However, it was also possible that everything that the old man had said was a lie. Just as Lu Yin could test the Spirit Nidus, as president of the Spirit Nidus’s Chamber of Commerce, the old man could also simply pretend that he was being tested. The lines between truth and lies could grow very complex.

The round-faced old man’s expression grew even darker. "If you refuse to return it, Meng Sang will continue to slaughter the people of your Tianyuan Megaverse! A universe each time a stick of incense can burn. Lord Lu, do you have the courage to take this risk now?”

Lu Yin’s eyes flashed with killing intent. "You promised me before that you wouldn’t use the innocent to threaten me.”

The old man just sneered. "What need is there to be honest with a megaverse that is about to be destroyed?”

Lu Yin looked over at the battleship that was just beyond the stone gate. He observed the people of the Spirit Nidus. "That’s exactly why I refused to return the Eight-Fold Sealing. However, old man, do you really think that you can keep threatening me like this?

“Attack!”

His stern shout heralded the appearance of six specks of Primaldust that emerged from the void and immediately moved to block the Impression Realm.

The Origin Progenitor appeared as well, and he let out a hearty laugh. "Finally, it’s my turn to take action! Pillar, leave this guy to me.”

Lu Yin had never trusted the Spirit Nidus. He had only entered into negotiations in order to extract additional information. After all, there were some details that only the Seraphs were privy to.

With Meng Sang’s defeat, there was no longer any major threat to the Immemorial Citadel. And since Mister Mu’s strength had fallen, he allowed the Origin Progenitor to join the fight. Mister Mu had taken over the task of suppressing the sequence strings.

While the Origin Progenitor had been suppressed for too long and he had lost the use of Verdant Eternity, he was still the Origin Progenitor of the Heavens Sect, the man who had once been strongest being in the entire Tianyuan Megaverse. Lu Yin was very much looking forward to seeing just how much power the man could unleash.

The six bits of Primaldust continued to move through space, blocking the Impression Realm.

The round-faced old man was horrified by the sight. "How is that even possible?”

He had thought that the Impression Realm could intimidate the Tianyuan Megaverse and make them too nervous to take reckless actions. It was completely unexpected that the Origin Progenitor would suddenly join the fray, let alone instantly suppress the Impression Realm.

While the Spirit Nidus’s sequence bases were indeed powerful, the Origin Progenitor possessed supreme strength all on his own. If not for the intervention of an Immortal, how could the Boundary Guardians have ever hoped to seal Tai Chu? Even without either of his hands, the man had still managed to hold onto the sequence strings and protect the entire Tianyuan Megaverse.

With his hands restored and his Primaldust returned, the Origin Progenitor was able to fully demonstrate his power, and a single move was enough to suppress the Impression Realm.

Lu Yin shot past the round-faced old man, aiming for the battleship beyond the stone gate. At the same time, everyone from the Tianyuan Megaverse charged at the battleship as well.

The round-faced old man tried to block the charge, but the Origin Progenitor stepped out in front of the Seraph and stretched out one hand.

The old man brought out his golden pen and pointed it towards the Origin Progenitor’s attack.

“Be careful, Master,” Chu Yi warned.

The Origin Progenitor’s eyes were as deep as an ocean. He allowed the attack from the golden pen to land. Starting from his palm, golden light began to spread over the Origin Progenitor’s body.

Lu Yin turned back, concerned. "Origin Progenitor!”

The Origin Progenitor let out another boisterous laugh. "I don’t need you children to worry about me!”

He then shook his hand, scattering the golden light.

The old man’s scalp went numb. This was impossible! The Impression Realm had been suppressed, and his own Spirit Transformation weapon had failed. The Seraph stared at the Origin Progenitor in horror, realizing that this was someone whose strength was comparable to the High Seraph’s.

The Spirit Nidus’s intelligence was wrong. Had they not received reports that said that the Tianyuan Megaverse’s Origin Progenitor had lost most of his cultivation and been incapacitated? Why was the man so damn strong?

Right, that was from Meng Sang. Damn! Meng Sang had been severely injured recently and could no longer threaten the Immemorial Citadel. That was what had allowed the Origin Progenitor to appear; there was no longer anything restraining him.

The Origin Progenitor struck the golden pen, and it shattered. The old man felt an unstoppable power pressing down on him. It felt as though the heavens themselves were crushing him, and he was launched backwards.

Lu Yin was astonished. "Is this the strength of the Origin Progenitor? How terrifying!”

Lu Yin believed that his strength had reached the point where he could overpower most people in the current megaverse, but there were still a few individuals who he believed to be beyond him. Those were the people like Mister Mu, True God, and Wei Nu.

The Origin Progenitor was clearly on that same level, and he was likely to be the most formidable of them all.

Aeternus had dared to declare war against the Heavens Sect because of the Origin Progenitor’s severe injuries. If not for that, how could True God have had the audacity to attack the Heavens Sect?

Wei Nu had been able to pose as Destiny when interacting with the Three Realms and Six Daos, or she could have chosen to appear as herself. However, in front of the Origin Progenitor, Wei Nu had not been able to disguise herself at all, and she had never been able to pose as Destiny.

When Meng Sang had pulled him into the dream realm, the Origin Progenitor had been able to choose whether to be drawn in or awaken in an instant. Nothing about the attack had surprised him.

The Origin Progenitor was the only one who had ever drawn out an Immortal to take action against him.

The Origin Progenitor was also the only one who had absolute confidence that he would overcome Dukkha. That was why he was someone even Immortals were wary of.

The Origin Progenitor was, indeed, the most powerful being in the megaverse.

If not for his wariness of the Immortal, the Origin Progenitor would have taken action long before. He had hesitated to fight against the Spirit Nidus due to the threat that Meng Sang had posed to the Immemorial Citadel, which was why the Origin Progenitor had stayed there. The sequence strings needed a protector at all times.

With Meng Sang gravely injured, Mister Mu had taken the Origin Progenitor’s place beneath the Immemorial Citadel, and the Origin Progenitor had finally emerged to demonstrate his power.

He was truly peerless. A single hand was all he needed to overwhelm the round-faced old man and leave him breathless.

“Bao Qi, help me!” the old man shouted.

From the distance, green sword qi sliced through space. The attack was aimed at the Origin Progenitor. At the same time, Bao Qi stepped out from the battleship. His eyes blazed when he looked at the Origin Progenitor. This man was an expert who truly stood at the peak. Bao Qi pushed the Cauldron Bell forward and moved towards the Origin Progenitor.

Lu Yin did not intervene. While it looked like two people were going to gang up on one, the Origin Progenitor remained unfazed.

Without Bao Qi's protection, the battleship was as good as Lu Yin’s.

Possibly because he had not been able to fight for so many years, the Origin Progenitor was exhilarated. He crushed the golden pen that he had grabbed and simply allowed the green sword qi to slice towards him without moving at all.

The round-faced old man continued to retreat. His face grew pale. This man was definitely on the same level as the High Seraph.

Silent power formed a fine stream that quickly cut through the universe. It was aimed straight at the Origin Progenitor as Bao Qi used the Cauldron Bell to attack.

The two Seraphs completely ignored Lu Yin and worked together to face the Origin Progenitor.

They had no opportunity to consider anything else, as they could only focus on the Origin Progenitor.

Lu Yin passed through the stone gate. The Impression Realm was still being restrained by the six pieces of Primaldust, and it was therefore completely immobilized. This battle would cause the Spirit Nidus’s vanguard to meet their end.

From Lu Yin’s left and right, two figures approached. One was a breathtakingly beautiful woman who was surrounded by green water. She was Palace Master Yao, the greatest expert in the Spirit Nidus beneath the Seven Seraphs. The other was Tian Ci.

Tian Ci stared at Lu Yin with hate-filled eyes. If not for this brat, things would never have devolved into this situation.

With two Ortusers targeting him, Lu Yin released his inner universe, instantly repelling all sequence particles. Clumps of dirt appeared, and an enormous landmass appeared overhead as Lu Yin’s hand pressed down. It was Flipping the Sky.

Just one execution of Flipping the Sky caused both Palace Master Yao and Tian Ci's expressions to change in unison. They could feel a terrifying power that caused reality to overturn.

Both Ortusers were forced downwards. They let out muffled groans as blood trickled from the corners of their mouths.

Palace Master Yao was astonished. This young man truly did possess the strength to fight against a Seraph, which should have been impossible since Lu Yin had not even comprehended any sequence particles yet.

Tian Ci endured the pressure of Flipping the Sky and thrust his sword, Three-Foot Edge - Zero, at Lu Yin.

From the other side, Palace Master Yao raised a hand and released her green sword qi again: Bifrost Unscathed Sword.

Lu Yin reached his hands out towards his two opponents, and his fingers bent. His inner universe spread out again, forcing sequence particles away. Dirt appeared once more, and it filled the sky overhead as Lu Yin attacked with Flipping the Sky again.

A sharp sword and green sword qi drew near.

Lu Yin did not expect his inner universe to shatter the two attacks on its own. As he watched them fall, he stepped forward and thrust both hands out, releasing the stored power of both his Wielder-realm battle force and Extremes Must Be Reversed at his two opponents.

Tian Ci's eyes flared. This was simply courting death.

The sound of something shattering echoed out as Lu Yin’s two palm strikes made contact, shattering both Tian Ci's and Palace Master Yao's sharp attacks. The force of Lu Yin’s attacks continued unimpeded, and both Ortusers were struck. Thunderous booms sent them reeling, and they spat out blood as the space around them warped and shockwaves rippled out.

Lu Yin used Inverse Step to give chase, even as the nearby soil took on the form of long spears that shot forwards.

Palace Master Yao transformed the green water in her hands into a sword, and it swept out to deflect the dirt spears. The blade continued to spin as countless strands of green sword qi rained down on Lu Yin.

He waved a hand to release Setting Sun.

As the sun set, its glow spread out from the horizon.

Palace Master Yao saw the beautiful sunset ignite space nearby, and her knowledge of martial arts was consumed.

Over the years, she had used tremendous effort to forge every step she had taken on her martial path. However, at this moment, the burning glow of the Setting Sun chased all of her expertise and knowledge of martial arts away. It all faded to nothing. Her spiritual force, her killing intent, her body, and her battle techniques all vanished in the afterglow of the sunset.

She coughed up blood and then turned to stare at Lu Yin in shock. Once again, she had been attacked with a comprehension technique; this person had actually mastered two comprehension techniques.

Palace Master Yao was astonished. She understood that comprehension techniques were similar to sequence particles. They could be slightly stronger than regular battle techniques, but not by much.

However, what people knew was only due to a limited perspective.

The battlefield where comprehension techniques truly shone brightest was in fights between Ortusers.

Once one entered the Origin realm, they could not be touched by the laws of the universe. When two people at this level fought, factors other than sequence particles became deciding factors in determining victory. Things like physical strength, spiritual force, consciousness, and even comprehension techniques.

These techniques only truly shone at the Origin realm.

This actually suggested that comprehension techniques were even more difficult to comprehend than sequence particles. Legends from ancient times claimed that those who had managed to master comprehension techniques were no less important than sequence powerhouses.

As far as many Ortusers were concerned, they would rather skip mastering sequence particles if they were able to instead pursue mastering a comprehension technique.

Lu Yin's two comprehension techniques left Palace Master Yao badly shocked, and Lu Yin then turned his attention to Tian Ci.
