Before Su Qing could say anything, Li Huan asked in delighted surprise, "What kind of reward, Grandpa?"
"A certificate of merit, a cash reward, and on top of that, Qingqing will be given a nominal position at the Municipal Public Security Bureau. They’re also giving her a Second-Class Merit award," Mr. Li said.

"Grandpa, is there any way I can turn down the position?" Su Qing asked with a slight frown. "I don’t need the Second-Class Merit award."
"You were involved in that case, and you snuck into Xiangcheng. There needs to be an official explanation on record to make this all go away smoothly. Otherwise, did you really think you and Huanhuan would have been able to come back from Xiangcheng so openly?" Mr. Li explained. "Don’t worry, it’s just a nominal position. You don’t have to show up for work or anything. You just keep doing what you’re doing. In a few days, you and Huanhuan will be starting school. Just focus on being a good student."
"That’s a relief." Su Qing had never been one to be tied down, so hearing she wouldn’t have to report for duty was a load off her mind. When Mr. Li mentioned school, she couldn’t help but ask, "Oh, right. Which university did I get into?"
