After accepting the Gift and opening it, Faye Yardley discovered it contained quite a few items Master Veridian had made himself. Besides talismans and elixirs, there was even an Array Plate.
She looked at the small, ivory-white disk in her hand, turning it over and over. This thing was actually an Array Plate for a Four Symbols Formation, recognized by the system. It was truly amazing.

Faye Yardley looked up at the still-growing Seven-Colored Tree. ’My luck really is quite good,’ she mused.
"How tall and wide can this bare tree get?"
The voice belonged to Lucy White, who was standing beside her. Faye Yardley gazed at the towering treetop and smiled. "I don’t know. As long as it has enough energy, it can definitely keep growing. I believe all trees eventually grow leaves and blossom. It hasn’t even sprouted a single leaf yet, which means it’s still small."
Lucy White stared at the behemoth before them, dumbfounded. "This is small?"
Faye Yardley hummed in agreement. ’If I enter a Dungeon now, I wonder if it will affect the Seven-Colored Tree’s growth,’ she thought.
Just as she was thinking this, she suddenly felt a tremor beneath her feet.
Looking down, she saw that the raft seemed to be moving. She looked beyond its edge. Good. The dense, fine white roots of the Seven-Colored Tree had already pierced the ice layer. Thick blocks of ice began to crack and break apart as the roots sank into the seawater, but the Seven-Colored Tree remained standing tall and firm between the sea and sky.
Beneath the sea’s surface, the roots were also growing at a tremendous speed, and any fish or sea creatures that tried to lunge at them became nutrients for the Seven-Colored Tree instead.
"The rain is letting up."
Cole Kensington had appeared beside the two of them at some point and made the observation.
Faye Yardley couldn’t help but look toward the distant sky. The hazy, rainbow-like beauty created by the drizzle in the sunlight seemed to be clearing up a little.
If the rain stopped, the amount of rainwater she could collect would become even scarcer.

However, unlike where she and her brother were, the rain was intensifying where Zephyr Sterling and his group were, changing from a drizzle to large raindrops.
This made Faye Yardley frown. ’What does this mean? Am I supposed to take the Seven-Colored Tree over there?’
’Will the Seven-Colored Tree even be safe over there?’
Faye Yardley shouted to the Seven-Colored Tree, "Want me to take you where the rain is heavier? Do you want to go? If you do, make yourself smaller."
As expected, the plants grown from Magic Seeds could understand what she said.
The previously immense branches began to retract, and the entire tree shrank at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Bramble was one step ahead, wrapping itself around her ankle as if to say it wanted to go have a look, too.

"Mr. Colby, long time no see. What’s the occasion for the sudden call?"
Caleb Colby chuckled. "Yardley, aren’t you collecting that rainbow rainwater? Don’t waste your resources buying it. I’ll just invite you over. The drizzle on our end has turned into a downpour. It’ll be faster for you to come collect it yourself."
"Okay. Are you near Mr. Pierce’s location right now? Doesn’t that mean there are a lot of you there? Is everything alright?"
"We’re fine. Those bubbles you provided are working great."
Faye Yardley saw the Seven-Colored Tree had already shrunk to a meter tall and said, "Send me the invitation. I’ll provide the Invitation Card."
After all, the time from Invitation Cards was stackable. Plus, using another Invitation Card at the new location would extend her stay even further. It all depended on whether the rain there would be enough for the Seven-Colored Tree to finally sprout leaves.
"You don’t have to provide one; we have them here. See you in a bit, then."
She hung up and immediately received the invitation. Faye Yardley stroked Bramble’s slightly fuzzy leaves. "Bramble, wait for me to come back. Don’t touch that rainwater anymore; it’s not good for you."
After putting on her raincoat, she recalled Bella to her pet space, grabbed the Seven-Colored Tree, and accepted the invitation, teleporting away.
The moment she arrived, she felt the full force of the storm.
"Yardley, you’re here! The rain suddenly got a lot heavier over here." Caleb Colby was quite happy to see Faye Yardley. Noticing the dazzling, glittering, tree-like object in her hand, he pointed and asked, "What’s that?"
Faye Yardley smiled. "Hello, Mr. Colby. This is my Florapet. I’m going to go collect some rainwater now."
She then summoned Bella, leaped onto its back, and slapped a rainbow-colored bubble onto the horse. The bubble quickly expanded to completely envelop them both.
Bella galloped off toward the edge of the raft cluster.
"Whoa, so cool!" Caleb Colby couldn’t help but feel a pang of envy.
Frank Finch, who had just come over from a nearby raft, saw Faye Yardley ride away. "Where is Yardley going?"
"You saw her, didn’t you? She rode off that way."
As Faye Yardley rode, the Seven-Colored Tree had already very consciously extended its branches out of the bubble to be nourished by the rain.
She galloped across the ice for half an hour before stopping. The Seven-Colored Tree was long past impatient; the moment it touched the ice, it began to take root and sprout branches.
Growing, and growing...
In the blink of an eye, a five-meter-tall, seven-colored tree had taken shape, and it was still growing.
As it happened, there was another team of people in the vicinity.
They were all enveloped in rainbow-colored bubbles.
When they saw such a large tree appear on the ice, they couldn’t help but run over in surprise.
As they got closer, they saw the Skeletal Horse under the great tree and Faye Yardley sitting on one of its branches.
"I-Island Master Yardley! What are you doing here? Th-This can’t be a tree you brought, can it?"
Faye Yardley looked at the five people in front of the tree, her gaze falling on the one who had spoken. "Barrett Thorne? Mm, Mr. Colby invited me over. And yes, this is a tree I brought."
"It really is Island Master Yardley! Is my grandfather doing okay on the island? Can I visit him there next time?" Barrett Thorne then remembered to introduce the teammates beside him.
"You can. I’ll invite you after I return to my island in a few days."
"Thank you, thank you." Barrett Thorne scratched his head. "If you need any help, just say the word."
Seeing her shake her head, they tactfully chose not to ask any more questions. Instead, they turned and left to continue with their own tasks.
As time passed, the Seven-Colored Tree once again grew into a colossal, sky-high tree, so large that it could be seen clearly even from the rafts where Caleb Colby and his group were.
Faye Yardley couldn’t understand it either. ’How can it give off the feeling of blocking out the sky when it doesn’t have a single leaf?’
Just as she was thinking this, with a soft POP, a single, tender green leaf sprouted from the top of the Seven-Colored Tree’s main trunk.
"Look, the tree is coming this way."
"Don’t you guys feel the rain getting lighter?"
