Rise of Humanity

Chapter 419

Chapter 419 - Birth of Xuan Yuan

What appeared before their eyes were the Swords Gate sculptures, one after another. The first one was 16 feet tall, and by just briefly looking at it, the elders could immediately visualize a Swords Gate appearing inside of their psyche ocean. It felt like as if their souls were trying to leap out of their bodies!

The second Swords Gate was bigger and more complex, giving a sensation as if Sword Qi was to burst out from within!

The third Swords Gate contained more totem patterns that changed continuously, and many skills loomed in and out of the jade surface!

The fourth Swords Gate was more grandiose than the others; it felt like if the door were opened, then the Yuan Shen secret realms would open as well!

The fifth Swords Gate appeared to be more dazzling in rays, containing the arts to coalesce the Yuan Shen and mortal body into one!

The sixth Swords Gate then contained an inner core inside of the doors!

These six sculptures of Swords Gate were stacked behind one another, the next one larger than the last while containing more profound arts within. Even the totem patterns gradually turned increasingly complex, slowly enhancing the visualization skills of the cultivators!

While those totem patterns engraved on the sculptures were also abstruse, when it came to the sixth Swords Gate sculpture, there were already tens of thousands of kinds of totem patterns in it!

One had to know that even the Lei Hu Clan's greatest technique only had over a hundred different types of lightning totem patterns!

The totem patterns on Zhong Yue's sixth Swords Gate sculpture, on the other hand, numbered in the tens of thousands!

There weren't only the sword totem patterns. Totem patterns of all the elements and various races interweaved to form a marvelous array of engravings on the Swords Gate sculpture!

Jun Sixie even noticed the concept of the Great Boundless Sword Qi within it!

“This…”

The elders and Jun Sixie were greatly shocked; the totem patterns on the Swords Gate sculptures were incredibly abstruse and seemed to burst with vitality. The patterns they formed alone could inspire a myriad of ideas and concepts to the cultivators. Not only that, but every kind of celestial totem pattern could be combined into a powerful skill!

But what most caught their eyes were the demon totem patterns!

The celestial and demon were nemeses that could not stand on the same ground together. For all intents and purposes, human cultivation techniques could be classified as celestial cultivation techniques, and yet, Zhong Yue was able to incorporate the demon totem patterns into such celestial cultivation techniques!

Even Jun Sixie was stunned, she then recollected her thoughts to quickly realize the value and importance of this cultivation technique.

This cultivation technique that Zhong Yue had created for the Swords Gate started with an introduction to the cultivation world. This introductory chapter was also a hundred times superior to the one from the【Swords Gate Visualization Art】that they had always used!

This cultivation technique was way easier for one to become a Qi Practitioner, or to put in other words — as long as the cultivator was not completely useless, they would be able to become a Qi Practitioner

with this technique!

The visualization art in the second Swords Gate sculpture was even more abstruse, suited for nourishing the spirits, while the third was good for doing the same for the Yuan Shen. The fourth was meant to open the secret realms, and the fifth was aimed to coalesce the atman and mortal body into one. And finally, the sixth one contained the art to condense and nourish the inner core!

Even if the cultivator didn't have any remarkable talents, they would still be able to cultivate to the level of Inner Core as long as they closely followed the cultivation technique!

Even after they had cultivated to the level of Inner Core through the cultivation technique, they still wouldn't be able to fully understand the whole cultivation technique. Jun Sixie deduced that only the Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioners would be able to understand the cultivation technique in its entirety.

If this were really the case, then could it still be considered a cultivation technique for Swords Gate to nurture more Qi Practitioners?

This was no different to willingly giving out a god-level cultivation technique to the Swords Gate!

“Headmaster and the elders, how are these six visualization arts?”

Zhong Yue walked over and said, "I'm still an Inner Core Qi Practitioner, I have yet to create the visualization art for Heavenly Dharma Practitioners. However, once I've entered that stage, I will then be able to expand on what I have here."

The elders moved around the Swords Gate sculptures and heaped endless praises of amazement at him all the while. At the same time, they couldn't help but ponder on if a mere Inner Core Qi Practitioner really could have created such a profound cultivation technique.

A mere Inner Core Qi Practitioner that had done what no other Qi Practitioners, including all of the headmasters, could do. If it were a god who had done it, they wouldn't be so shocked, but Zhong Yue was just an Inner Core Qi Practitioner.

Little did they know that Zhong Yue had fused the cultivation techniques of the many races to develop his【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】. In terms of the attainments, he was already a level above ordinary gods!

Furthermore, this wasn’t the first time he did something like this. In the demon land, he had cleared the bloodline seals for the Chi Clan’s Chi You, allowing the latter to cultivate both celestial and demon cultivation arts.

"I'm thinking about whether I should also include the method to reverse-open the five secret realms in the Awakening level visualization art."

Zhong Yue stood before the Swords Gate sculpture that contained the Awakening visualization art and mulled over the thought, "But it is very dangerous, a slight moment of distraction can result in death, the success rate is too low."

It was because he had gone through the experience himself that he intimately understood the risks that came with reverse-opening the five secret realms. Even with the third divine eye, the probability of success was too low. And without it, it was nearly impossible.

“No need!”

Jun Sixie said decisively, "The new cultivation technique is meant to cultivate the Swords Gate disciples, not take their lives. However, junior martial brother, you can still leave the method to do so behind so that the headmasters can offer it to the particularly outstanding disciples!"

Zhong Yue nodded and smiled, "That would be best, headmaster."

He had also thought of leaving behind the method of opening the sixth realm, but the danger in that was abominably great, a thousand times harder than reverse-opening the first five secret realms. Without the guidance of someone like Xin Huo or an incredible talent like Feng Xiaozhong, it was absolutely impossible to succeed in opening the sixth realm!

Thus, he deemed it to be not the right time to leave such a thing behind. To do so would only push the new Qi Practitioners into the abyss of death. However, if in the future, the Ancestral Star's Six Paths World's Six Paths Reincarnation, the risk of opening the sixth realm would be drastically reduced.

But not even Zhong Yue had the confidence of that ever happening, and even if it were to happen, he wouldn't be able to foresee when.

Granny Tao mumbled, "The visualization arts contained in these sculptures are a hundred times better than the one I'm cultivating. Is this the new cultivation technique for the little kids? They are so blessed…"

“Indeed, they are!”

The other elders concurred, and one of them said, "Even I have the urge to erase my cultivation to start over again! We might just be able to achieve the level of magnates if we have this cultivation technique!"

Shui Zian then said, "However, with this new cultivation technique, the young ones will have a bigger responsibility to take upon their shoulders from now on. With these sculptures, we of the Swords Gate will not only be able to secure our own territory, but we will also be expanding our influences. The responsibility of opening new lands and expanding our influence will be placed on their shoulders."

The others all nodded in agreement.

The Swords Gate was still weak; it was barely strong enough to protect itself and its own meager territory – the Great Wilderness. However, with Zhong Yue's contributions, the number of human Qi Practitioners was destined to rise. A small place like the Great Wilderness would then have too little resources for them to nurture the paragons they would need to ascend to the summit of the world. Thus, it was inevitable for Swords Gate to expand its territory and influence to secure more resources for their posterity!

All of a sudden, Jun Sixie said to Zhong Yue, “The other three border fortresses are in construction.”

“Nicely done!”

Shui Zian, Lei Shan, and the other elders nodded. It was just the right time to build the fortresses. Otherwise, it would be too late once the next generation of Swords Gate had grown strong enough.

The ten elders were exhilarated. It was as if they would see the bright future unfolding before their eyes.

"To be able to witness the rise of humanity ... to witness our rise from toiling in the mud to soaring through the skies ... I have no regrets in this life anymore!" Lei Shan sonorously laughed as he said.

Qiu Jin'er was also excited at seeing Zhong Yue's hard work being acknowledged by the elders.

Zhong Yue was also deeply gratified. During these two months, he had been carefully contemplating what cultivation technique he should create for Swords Gate. He had been parsing through every cultivation techniques he knew and pondering on his insights into them. And all of this also allowed him to gain even more enlightenment on the many arts and skills he had.

Most importantly, his attainments into the Million God Arts were deeper than before, and he slowly fused the core of the Million God Arts into his【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】.

When he cast out the【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】, the Yin and Yang element in it would then beget another three elements ... the three powers — Heaven, Earth, and Man. And from these three elements came into being the many gods of the universe!

This truth was touched upon in his cultivation technique — two begot three, and three gave rise to the myriad!

"Elders, the first Swords Gate sculpture will have to be replicated for the many human tribes, every tribe will have to have one copy of the first Swords Gate sculpture. Regardless of age, gender, or social status, everyone will have a chance to cultivate it." Jun Sixie gave her order as the headmaster.

The elders then nodded and immediately began to work. They cut down a massive chunk of the jade stones and sculpted them according to the first Swords Gate sculpture. Zhong Yue then turned to Jun Sixie and said, "Headmaster, I have one thing to…"

Jun Sixie listened carefully and just as Zhong Yue was going to tell her of the moon core and innate god he had stolen from the Xiao Mang Celestial Race; the whole of Swords Gate Mountain started to quake. Sonorous chants of worship then reverberated throughout all of whole Swords Gate.

Zhong Yue and Jun Sixie were both shocked. The chants came from the void through the dimensions, and it sounded as if millions of people chanted together as one voice. Blessings and praises formed a harmonious symphony that came together like a great hymn.

Then, a scarlet ray of light flashed out from the void and entered a palace in Swords Gate. It was dazzling and exuded an ethereal and divine sensation. They saw a true dragon soaring inside of the light rays.

Zhong Yue, Jun Sixie, and Qiu Jin'er were shocked as they stared in disbelief at the red ray and Qiu Jin'er mumbled, "This … it looked similar to when I was born."

She was the Innate Wood Spirit Body, her birth was accompanied by a worldly phenomenon, but there weren't the chants of worship.

Jun Sixie also nodded, "I'm quite the same, but there were no chants. Is Fu Bao giving birth?"

The trio then quickly rushed over. Abruptly, they felt a change in the ambiance, and they raised their heads and looked into the sky. A star then suddenly flared up, shining with a flaxen radiance. It was huge like the sun and sat high in the sky right above Swords Gate.

“The Earth Celestial Star!”

Jun Sixie exclaimed in shock, "This is said to be exactly what happened when Feng Wuji was born. It signals the birth of the Earth Innate Spirit Body!"

The Earth Celestial Star then shone so brightly that it felt like a second sun in the sky.

The Earth Celestial Star then suddenly dimmed down, and a huge beam of light then poured down right into the palace where the red ray previously entered!

Qiu Jin'er then mumbled, "The gift of the Human Sovereign, the soaring dragon with bright red rays, and now the Earth Celestial Star. Just how talented will Senior Martial Sister Fu Bao's child be?"

All of a sudden, a baby’s cry came from the palace. Zhong Yue listened to it carefully and then softly said, "Gongsun Xuanyuan has arrived in this world."

Suddenly, Xin Huo said to him from the psyche ocean, "Brat Yue, this Xuanyuan has quite a thick Fuxi bloodline in him! It's not any weaker than Feng Xiaozhong's!"

Zhong Yue was shocked, and immediately, he realized the reasons — the dragon shrouded in scarlet red would be the draconic Qi gifted to the little one by the Human Sovereign. It was meant to refine and purify the Fuxi blood in Xuanyuan's body, partially activating the bloodline of the Fuxi Celestial Race!
