“Vow to your skill?”

Xie Yang, Feng Yuhuan, and Shen Xiage were startled. They had heard of many other ways of making an oath. One of the most common ones was to vow to Heaven, but it didn’t always work as Heaven had no eyes and no ears. It couldn’t pick up the oaths.

Then, there was the Void Contract where one vowed on their soul and spirit. Failure to keep the vow would stop one from not being able to enter the Void World.

Other than that, there were also the vows to the Daos. In this particular case, one’s Daos would be used to form into seals in their body, breaking the vow would trigger the Dao seals and totally destroy their cultivations from within, including their Dao hearts.

However, Zhong Yue’s request of them vowing to his skill, it was the strangest way of making an oath they have ever heard in their entire life.

Is this some kind of trick?

The trio was hesitating while Zhong Yue remained quiet waiting patiently. After a long time, Xie Yang smirked and said, “King Yi, what are you playing at here?”

Zhong Yue smiled, he replied casually, “Vowing to my skill, what are you all afraid of? Is anyone of you weaker than me? I am no match for either one of you, even when you’ve turned back on your vows, you are strong enough to contain the punishments from me, aren’t you?”

Shen Xiage answered, “Which is why there must be something else going on in it. King Yi is intelligent, wise and cunning. The simpler this sounds, the more dangerous it actually is! Once we’ve made the vow, we’d have fallen into your trap!”

Zhong Yue laughed happily, “Is that refusal then?”

Xie Yang said coldly, “There’s another way, we can force King Yi to do as we desire. I have a way to control his Yuan Shen and force him to lower his head to our own terms.”

Zhong Yue sneered coldly, “I don’t even fear death, do you think I am afraid of you controlling my Yuan Shen? Furthermore, can you actually do it?”

Suddenly, he cast out the Great Six Paths Reincarnation and included the trio in it. The trio looked up at his stalwart Yuan Shen equivalent to a Ghost Monarch and their faces changed drastically.

Feng Yuhuan gently fanned the Heaven Phoenix Divine Fire Fan and the Great Six Paths Reincarnation crumbled, returning them back to reality.

“King Yi sure is amazing. Your Yuan Shen is even stronger than ours.” Rays flashed in Feng Yuhuan’s eyes, she chortled, “Then, I will make the vow to King Yi. Senior Martial Brother Xie Yang, Senior Martial Brother Xiage, what do you say?”

Shen Xiage hesitated for moments before answering unwillingly, “Fine, I will make the vow. Once we’ve escaped, I will let him go on his own. Senior Martial Brother Xie Yang, what about you?”

Xie Yang smirked, “You’ve both decided to do it and if I don’t follow suit, wouldn’t that leave me stuck here alone?”

Zhong Yue softly raised his hand and the Daos surged out from the Space Bottle into his hand. The 14th Drawings of Heavenly Daos, Tian Yin, was formed into a seal. He smiled, “Senior martial brothers and sister, please make your vow to this skill of mine!”

Feng Yuhuan, Xie Yang, and Shen Xiage exchanged a look and saw the same perplexity in their eyes toward the skill Zhong Yue has just cast. Although it was extremely exquisite and powerful, it still wasn’t a threat at all to peak Imperial Emperors like themselves.

However, it still made them feel uneasy to vow to the skill.

They had never seen this skill before, not knowing it was a Heavenly Dao’s skill. Although they could tell it was an uncommon skill, they didn’t know it’s exact power.

Xie Yang cleared his throat, his eyes squinted and smiled brightly, “King Yi, can you cast this skill and show us how strong it is?”

Zhong Yue nodded, “Why not!”

He slammed it down into the universe inside of the Space Bottle, causing a piece of blank space to crumble. It was truly powerful, no weaker than Zhong Yue’s [Dao Crusher]!

The trio exchanged a look and mulled. Indeed, it was strong, but that’s really just it. It would only make them feel pain upon taking the skill, but the threat it posed to them was really nothing major.

Then, the trio made the vow toward the seal. If they escaped from the Space Bottle, they would not attack Zhong Yue anymore. Else, they would be killed by Zhong Yue’s [Tian Yin].

When the vow was made, they felt a slight surge of their Yuan Shen flying out of their body. They turned into a strange pattern and merged with the strange seal in Zhong Yue’s hand.

Immediately, their faces changed slightly. They were only making the vow for the sake of leaving, but they didn’t expect anomalies to occur following the vows!

Vow anomaly was a kind of peculiar pattern formed when a vow was made. It usually only happened when a vow was made to an incredibly high-status figure!

And the vow anomalies from making the vows to Zhong Yue’s skill added more unease to their hearts.

Zhong Yue dispersed [Tian Yin] and smiled, “Senior martial brothers and sister, please, get on board.”

The trio oppressed their discomfort and get on board. They thought, King Yi’s skill was not strong in power, the anomalies probably only happened because that skill’s grade was high. But it’s power is still not strong enough to harm us.

“King Yi, we will cast our own divine weapons and crush the dimensions in front of us while you cast the ancient warship to sail out of the cracked dimensions!”

Feng Yuhuan cast up the Heavenly Phoenix Divine Fire Fan and said, “The Space Bottle’s power is concentrated at its mouth. It’s the lights on it that kept creating the universe, stopping us from getting close. Even when we shatter the dimensions, they will be constantly recovered. But if we keep on breaking them, we will be able to bring ourselves close to the bottle mouth. By then, we need you to sail us out with the ship.”

Shen Xiage looked around, he said solemnly, “I hope we can work together now, this is no time for internal conflict. We’ll leave everything else to them once we get out of here!”

Zhong Yue nodded, he replied solemnly, “Please, gentlemen!”

Xie Yang, Feng Yuhuan, and Shen Xiage cast out their innate monarch weapons and unleashed their powers to the peak. The innate monarch weapons were instantly suffused with a terrifyingly strong air that disturbed Zhong Yue’s heart. They were much stronger than ordinary monarch weapons!

In this situation, it really showed how important it was to secure the first strike and subsequently, the upper hand advantage. Even though their innate monarch weapons were on the same level as the Space Bottle, Zhuo Ya acted first, trapping them inside of the bottle. The trio was eventually forced to ask for Zhong Yue’s help to get out.

The three innate monarch weapons were slashed forward, causing the dimensions in front of them to crumble. Zhong Yue seized the chance and cast the thousand-winged ancient warship at its greatest speed. The ship rammed into the cracked dimensions, sailing through the thin and sharp dimensional fragments!

The trio’s attacks traveled a long distance, but the innate monarch weapons’ powers were still going forward. The piece of blank space in front of them was totally ravaged, even peak Imperial Emperors like themselves could only barely protect themselves in it. Yet, the thousand-winged ancient warship was able to sail through the space normally, leaving the three Imperial Emperors in awe!

Then, the trio lashed out the monarch weapons again while the ship’s speed grew increasingly faster.

The lights on the bottle mouth flickered constantly to repair the cracked dimensions. But it was always the dimensions behind them that were repaired first while the ancient warship has already sailing away by the time the dimensions were repaired.

Finally, the bottle universe created inside by the Space Bottle was broken apart by the four of them!

They were all overjoyed as they were getting closer to the bottle mouth in front of them.

It lasted a long time, the bottle mouth was right in front of them but their progress was incredibly slow. The bottle’s mystical lights continuously rippled, creating space and dimensions that slowed down the ancient warship’s speed.

Xie Yang, Feng Yuhuan, and Shen Xiage grew manic, they surged all their arcane energies into the innate monarch weapons while Zhong Yue also surged all his arcane energy into the ancient warship.

Finally, when the ancient warship reached the bottle mouth, they gave a final push.

Three terrifyingly strong waves of innate divine aura burst through the air. The heavenly fire burnt without reserve, the evil light shot through the firmament, and the golden dragon soared in the skies. It was truly a beautiful and amazing scene to behold!

Then, the huge ship flew out of the bottle mouth, and the four cheered loudly in joy.

But suddenly, their laughter grew softer and softer, until they turned dead quiet. Zhong Yue, Feng Yuhuan, and the rest were staring dumbly at their surroundings, their faces were devoid of happiness.

The thousand-winged ancient warship was floating in an unimaginably huge mountain ridge. The ancient warship was huge in size, ten thousand miles long in length. But it only appeared like a puny bug when compared to the mountain ridge.

Its size was indescribable and it was filled with the ancient air as if it were from the beginning of time. There were also huge claw marks with stained blood suffused with a monarch aura on the mountain bodies.

The four looked around, there were star rivers surrounding the land while the huge sun here also looked incredibly small.

This was a mountain formed during the birth of the universe that had existed since the beginning of time!

Feng Yuhuan swallowed her saliva, her voice was quivering, “This is… Is this…”

“That’s right.” Zhuo Ya’s hoarse voice like crow laughed, “This is the birthplace of my teacher, the first divine mountain of the universe, Innate Dao Mountain Sacred Ground. Senior martial siblings, King Yi, welcome to the Innate Dao Mountain. If my teacher knows the four of you are coming, he will be very happy, so happy that he will salivate.”

As he finished saying, Xie Yang collapsed to the ground with the face of a dead man.

Feng Yuhuan’s countenance turned pallid while she said quiveringly, “Senior Martial Brother Zhuo Ya, my teacher is Feng Tian Origin Lord, if Yuan Ya Deity King does anything to me…”

“Senior Martial Sister Yuhuan, don’t think too highly of yourself.” Zhuo Ya said smilingly, “To Feng Tian Origin Lord, you aren’t important enough for her to declare war on my teacher.”

He smiled mockingly and said, “All those little plays in the bottle, do you think I don’t realize them? I’ve only been watching coldly and letting you do what you wanted because I wanted to see the moment when despair swallows you once we arrived here. I’d very much like to see all your hopes dashed by cruel reality. Yes, yes, those faces you are making now, they fill me with such joy. Hmm, King Yi, you don’t seem to be despairing like the rest of them.”

He looked at Zhong Yue in interest, he asked with a smile, “Can you tell me, what other plans do you have?”
