Chapter 2190: Chapter 2040: Cash on Delivery (Part 4)

Just then, three more buses pulled up by the curb. All of them were from the same fleet as the one whose driver beat up the old man. The drivers saw a big crowd gathered here and knew it had to be the place. They pushed in to take a look and saw a medium‑built guy looking down with disdain at someone lying on the ground. The three bus drivers took a closer look—wasn’t the guy on the ground their own coworker from the fleet?

"Get him!"

The three drivers charged up, and three seconds later they were lying on the ground, motionless, together with the bus driver who hit the old man.

"Kid, you think you can fight, huh? Just wait till I call our fleet captain!"

"Go ahead, I wanna see who you can call. I’ll give you time, I’m right here waiting." Song Xiaodong said disdainfully to the four men on the ground.

"I told you to apologize to my wife!" Song Xiaodong turned to the bus driver who had pushed Chu Xianling down.

"Laozi was fighting someone else, you cheap bitch just had to rush in. You got hurt, that’s on you for not watching where the hell you’re going! And you, kid, even if you can fight, don’t get cocky. My Brother Hu is already on his way. You know what my Brother Hu does?"

"You know what I do?" Song Xiaodong stepped hard on the bus driver’s thigh. The guy’s words got cut off halfway by a scream of pain.

More and more people were gathering. After a while, traffic cops showed up. They knew Song Xiaodong, told a few drivers to move their buses, then took everyone back to the station. The bus driver who’d hit the old man shouted at Song Xiaodong, "Tianxiu Road, Jinxiu City tonight—if you’re a man, come!"

That night, Song Xiaodong went straight to Jinxiu City.

The driver who’d hit the old man and the other three who’d been beaten were all there, and they watched as Song Xiaodong walked in alone.

"Good, kid, you think you can fight, huh? I’ll let you meet my Brother Hu!" The driver who’d hit the old man walked up and said to Song Xiaodong.

"You’re gonna apologize to my wife, or I’ll have you spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair." Song Xiaodong said to the driver who’d hit the old man.

"Yo, you dare act this cocky on Brother Hu’s turf?" The driver and the others muttered among themselves for a bit, then sneered.

"So it’s him, huh?"

They were all crowding around Song Xiaodong, mocking him, when a man suddenly came down from the second floor of Jinxiu City. Suit, bleached white hair, a scar across his face. He spoke to the few drivers.

"Brother Hu, it’s this punk, he beat us up. He’s got connections in traffic police, they only grabbed us and not him!" One driver turned his head and said to the man.

Obviously, this was the Brother Hu that driver had mentioned.

Brother Hu walked through the crowd. The lackeys circling around Song Xiaodong stepped aside to clear a path, letting Brother Hu walk up to him.

"Kid, you’ve got some connections, huh? What’s your relationship with the traffic cops?" Brother Hu asked Song Xiaodong.

"What did you just call me?" Song Xiaodong asked Brother Hu coldly.

"Kid, I know you’ve got some background. Me, I’m the one who calls the shots on this street. You follow me, you’ll make real money in the future." Brother Hu said.

"You called me ’kid’?"

As soon as Song Xiaodong shouted, he swung a big slap across Brother Hu’s face, knocking out three of his teeth. Brother Hu spun in place, then spat out a mouthful of blood with three teeth in it.

"What the fuck are you all standing there for?"

A bunch of bare‑handed thugs rushed in.

Song Xiaodong kicked and dropped a whole swath of them, grabbed one guy by the collar and used him like a weapon, swinging left and right. In no time, the whole mob was down.

"Holy shit, this guy’s a monster!" Brother Hu saw things were going south and turned to run.

With a cold snort, Song Xiaodong lunged forward, yanked Brother Hu’s collar from behind, and slammed him to the ground.

"They hit me, so I hit you." As he spoke, Song Xiaodong stomped on Brother Hu.

"Aiyo, aiyo..."

Even more people came rushing out from the main hall. The bare‑handed ones had already been taken care of by Song Xiaodong; now it was the ones with rubber batons.

Song Xiaodong dodged left and right, slipping past several heavy swings, then stomped on Brother Hu again.

"Aiyo, aiyo... you guys, stop it!"

Only then did they realize that the one sprawled on the floor screaming was their boss.

The guys holding weapons all froze.

"You yield or not?" Song Xiaodong asked Brother Hu.

"Yield your fucking ass, just wait till I call my Brother Zhao!"

Song Xiaodong stomped him again.

"I’m gonna fucking tear your place down!" As soon as he finished, Song Xiaodong snapped his fingers. More than twenty Family Guards from the Su Family rushed in from outside, brawling with Brother Hu’s men, then started smashing every table and chair in the place to absolute shit.

"You, apologize to my wife!" Song Xiaodong pointed at the bus driver who’d hit the old man, now scared stupid off to the side.

"You’ve got balls, smashing up my place. I’ll fucking fight you to the death!" Brother Hu pulled a knife from his pocket.

"You know that in three seconds, you’re gonna regret everything you’re doing right now?" Song Xiaodong said to Brother Hu coldly.

"I’ll fucking stab you to death!" Brother Hu lunged at him with the knife, but Song Xiaodong used a clean, precise Bare-Handed disarm, grabbed the blade, and with a sharp "crack!" twisted Brother Hu’s wrist.

"Stab me to death?"

"Crack!" Song Xiaodong grabbed Brother Hu’s arm and twisted his elbow joint out of place.

"Aaaah!" Brother Hu let out a soul‑tearing scream that made his lackeys stand there with their mouths hanging open, not daring to move.

"Stab me to death?"

"Crack!" Song Xiaodong grabbed Brother Hu’s shoulder and dislocated the joint.

"Stab me to death?"

"Crack!" Song Xiaodong grabbed Brother Hu’s other wrist and gave it a shake—another break.

"Grandpa! Grandpa! I was wrong! I was wrong!"

"Too late!" From wrist to elbow to shoulder, Song Xiaodong kindly gave Brother Hu’s other arm the same full dislocation treatment.
