Nianyang’s face went dark. "He’s not crazy, he’s Shi Feng, the general manager of Shishi Real Estate Company. Don’t tell me you’ve never heard his name when you’re out schmoozing?"
"What did you say, he’s Shi Feng?"
Luo Lanzhen’s expression changed slightly. Her pupils shrank as she looked over at Shi Feng, meeting the sharp glint in his eyes.
"What, now you remember who I am?"
Lanzhen let out a short laugh. "So it’s President Shi. My bad, my bad."
Shi Feng ground his teeth. "Luo Lanzhen, drop the dumb act."
"Oh, President Shi wants to talk about some collaboration, right?"
Lanzhen touched her nose and put on a standard workplace smile. "Sorry, President Shi, you’re in real estate, I’m in clothing—we’re miles apart. Let’s just forget it, go find someone else."
Shi Feng stepped forward and sneered. "I’m not here to talk cooperation. I’m here to talk about that matter."
"That matter? Which matter?" Lanzhen looked totally innocent.
Shi Feng growled, "A month ago, at that xx gala in Z Country, you got drunk and asked me to take you back to the hotel. In the end you slept with me and then ran off. Don’t you dare say you forgot."
"You slept with him?" Nianyang sucked in a breath and gave Lanzhen a thumbs up. "Zhen, you’ve got guts!"
Lanzhen’s face flushed bright red. "Nianyang, don’t listen to his bullshit, who the hell slept with him."
Shi Feng let out a cold laugh. "Didn’t sleep with me, huh? Want me to list out all the moles on your body? Dare to sleep with me but don’t dare admit it. In all my life, I, Shi Feng, have only ever been the one doing the sleeping. You sleep with me and then run off, and toss me a hundred bucks on top of that. You think I’m only worth a hundred?"
Lanzhen’s face darkened. "Oh, cut the crap, President Shi. You’re a man at least, it’s not like you lost anything. What the hell are you whining about? Giving you a hundred was me doing you a favor. Don’t pull that wounded act with me. You’ve been around the block; this isn’t your first time in a woman’s bed. I was the one having my first time, did you hear me complaining?"
"You—!" Shi Feng was shaking with anger. Luo Lanzhen completely overturned his impression of women. Weren’t women these days supposed to be all conservative?
How was Luo Lanzhen this open? He was honestly a bit thrown.
"What ’you’? What are you staring at me for? Don’t tell me you slept with me and fell in love, now you want to marry me?"
"In your dreams!" Shi Feng snapped. "Old woman, I’m only 18, you’re already 20. Who the hell would marry you? Keep dreaming."
"Good, I don’t want anything to do with a little brat like you either. What happened that night was an accident. Just go back to wherever you came from."
"So you’re just gonna let me take the loss for nothing?"
Shi Feng’s temper flared again. Being this despised by Luo Lanzhen really pissed him off. All his life he’d only ever been the one doing the despising. He said righteously, "Let me tell you, Luo Lanzhen, I’m not that easy to brush off. You wanna settle it with a hundred bucks? No way. Go back and wait. Once I come up with a way for you to make it up to me, I’ll come find you to settle the score."
He finished talking and walked off. Lanzhen rolled her eyes.
Nianyang’s mouth was still hanging open. "Ah Zhen, what the hell did you do? This Shi Feng spends all day partying and fooling around, he’s not exactly husband material. How could you get mixed up with him?"
Lanzhen laughed. "What are you thinking? Like I’d fall for that little brat. That night at the gala I accidentally drank a glass that had been drugged. Shi Feng happened to be right next to me, so I asked him to take me back. The kid was actually pretty gentlemanly and took me there. Then once we got to the hotel, the drug kicked in, I couldn’t hold back and ended up sleeping with him."
