As she spoke, Dana Cross tried to push The Crown Prince and Tanuki aside and walk into Villa No. 3.

The Crown Prince and Tanuki blocked Dana Cross’s path. "Uncle Graham," one of them explained, "I think you should all find a place to stay in the base for now. When the Boss and Sister-in-law get back, they’ll make arrangements for you!"
"If they don’t listen to you, then who do they listen to?" Dana Cross shouted, visibly displeased, but Graham Cross cut her off.
"Wait! Sister-in-law? What sister-in-law? Whose sister-in-law?"
The Crown Prince and Tanuki froze at Graham Cross’s barrage of questions. Five interjected, "She’s the sister-in-law we brothers acknowledge. She’s the boss’s woman, so we call her Sister-in-law. Is there a problem with that?"
"Nonsense! Lex has become more and more reckless! An ordinary woman from a primitive planet—how could she possibly be worthy of the young master of our Cross family!" Graham Cross’s words stirred discontent among the members of the Cross and Leroy families behind him.

"Uncle Graham is right. A Nightmare Beast is a rare find, but this one clearly has an owner. We can’t take it by force!" The speaker was Heath Cross.
"That’s right, and that child is adorable, like a little porcelain doll. Don’t hurt her!" Gloria Cross said, her own bright, large eyes filled with worry as she watched the Nightmare Beast.
