"Lex? What are you doing? I’ll put the seed in my space to let it root and sprout first, then transplant it out."
Archie chimed in, "I say, General Cross, you don’t want this Tree of Life for yourself, do you? It’s an incredibly powerful thing, after all."
Lex Cross shot Archie a glare. "Shut up."
Archie adopted a look of cavalier indifference. "Tch, I was just asking. Who wouldn’t want the Tree of Life? If it were me, I wouldn’t have bothered asking—I would’ve just taken it."
Lex Cross turned his gaze to Flora Bloom. "Flora, just hear me out first, then you can decide whether or not to let the Tree of Life’s seed bond with you."
’Once it bonds with her, and the tree merges with the heart of the Earth, her space will also fuse with the planet. Flora will be unable to leave Earth. But even if I tell her that, will she listen?!’
Earth’s life-level is higher than Flora’s. Once the Tree of Life is fully rooted in the planet, Flora, who would be bound to it in a master-servant relationship, will be trapped on Earth along with it.

Flora Bloom, Lex Cross, and Archie sat down inside the cave, in the area where Archie normally rested and cultivated.
"This seed of the Tree of Life can indeed stabilize Earth’s spatial integrity. Moreover, it can accelerate the evolution of any life in its vicinity.
If it were planted in Morhaven, everyone living there would benefit.
But Flora, do you know *why* the Tree of Life is a plant capable of supporting an entire space?"
"Oh for crying out loud, General Cross, can you stop being so dramatic? Stop beating around the bush! Just tell the little cutie why she can’t take the seed into her space to bond with it, and get it over with!
You have to realize, if any of the great families who’ve come here treasure hunting get their hands on this, an all-out war on Earth will be unavoidable.

"The spatial rifts are appearing on Earth for two reasons. First, external dimensions have torn through our reality to descend upon the planet. Second, Earth itself is evolving. This evolution requires a colossal amount of energy, which has caused imbalances within the planet.
The friction between these extreme highs and lows also creates spatial rifts. These rifts cause all kinds of the planet’s energy to leak out, which will ultimately lead to the failure of its evolution.
