Deep green vines suddenly shot up from under Five’s feet, wrapping around him tightly.
"Five, you’re all a bunch of scumbags! Whose fault is it that Flora’s face is like this? It’s Lex Cross’s! And now you have the nerve to look down on our Flora! Who do you think you are?!"
"Can’t you be reasonable!" Five looked at Cynthia Grant anxiously, his face pleading. "Let me go first! It’s not like I’m the one who dumped her. The way she looks now... who could possibly like that?"
"Oh, so that’s how it is! If I hadn’t gotten rid of the side effects, would you be disgusted by me too?!"
After saying this, Cynthia Grant suddenly realized what she’d let slip. Her mouth snapped shut and she said no more.
But Five, after a moment’s stun, suddenly sliced through the vines binding him. The next second, he appeared in front of Cynthia Grant.
"What did you just say? Me, be disgusted by you? How could I ever be disgusted by you?"
Cynthia Grant cursed herself for her slip of the tongue. Head down and face grim, she tugged on Flora Bloom’s arm. "Flora, let’s go. We’re done with this bunch of worthless men! Men are all trash!"
With that, Cynthia Grant pulled Flora Bloom’s arm, and they turned to go back the way they came.
Villa Three was a restricted area; no one could enter without permission. Just as Five was about to go after Cynthia Grant, a swarm of bees, each bigger than a man’s head, flew out with a great BUZZZZ, covering the sky and blocking the entrance to Villa Three.
"From now on, you are no longer welcome in Villa Three! Get out!"
"Whoa, this is a bit much!" Five stopped in his tracks, terrified, not daring to take another step. The surrounding crowd, which had gathered to watch the drama, saw the massive swarm and scattered, fearing they would get caught in the crossfire.
Lex Cross and Five exchanged a look.
An icy frost seemed to form on the corners of Lex Cross’s lips. The chill radiating from him felt like it could freeze Five solid.

Lex Cross’s thin lips were pressed into a tight line. His fists were clenched, and his chest heaved violently. It was clear he was on the verge of exploding.
The two of them walked away toward the mall, one behind the other. Shortly after they left, on a small road across the street from Villa Three, Kirk Warren was walking back, feigning the innocence of a bystander.
Her expression was relaxed and content. The curve of her lips showed she was in a very good mood.
’Flora Bloom, you’re finally getting what you deserve!’
She stroked a faint mark on her arm, her nails digging in so hard they nearly broke the skin before she relaxed her grip at the last moment.
She sneered, her steps growing even lighter.
’Flora Bloom, oh, Flora Bloom... If it weren’t for you, how could I have lost all my superpowers? A man like Captain Cross... you’re not worthy of him! Look, the scars on my body can heal, but you! You’ve become so ugly now. It must be karma!’
She strolled to Villa One and entered her home. A familiar figure suddenly walked down from upstairs and sat casually on the sofa.
This person had delicate skin and a face that radiated pure, adorable innocence. If she smiled, no man could possibly resist her ethereal, maiden-like charm.
This was Nina Rook, who had escaped from Lex Cross and his men and merged with Rita’s body.
"Well? Did they really break up?"
"No doubt about it! That little bitch Flora Bloom has already kicked Captain Cross and the others out of Villa Three!"
"Oh? Could they have been putting on an act for you?"
"No way. I was watching from far away, nobody saw me there! Nina, you said you’d help me restore my superpower if I confirmed this!"
"Something’s fishy. I think we need to confirm this further." A calculating glint appeared in Nina Rook’s eyes. It wasn’t that she didn’t believe Kirk, but she knew Lex Cross.
If a pretty face were enough to attract him, she would have long since claimed this powerful man who made her Divine Soul swoon.
Unfortunately, he was unmoved by any sort of beauty.
’Would a man who isn’t moved by beauty so easily fall out of love because that beauty fades?’
She was very skeptical about that!
But another part of her argued back.

Just as she was struggling with her thoughts, Kirk Warren suddenly spoke up.
"I don’t know what you’re waiting for! Maybe the only reason Captain Cross was so good to Flora Bloom was because she was beautiful! And don’t forget, that woman somehow managed to get pregnant with his child."
"It’s perfectly normal for a man to yield to beauty and the promise of an heir! Flora must have set up a honey trap before the apocalypse to scheme her way to the top. But she never expected she’d end up hideous."
"Just think, after she gives birth, Captain Cross will definitely want nothing to do with her!"
Kirk Warren’s analysis was very persuasive to Nina Rook.
’That’s right! Bloodline is paramount to the Cross family! That must be the real reason he was so good to her!’
"Exactly! With Captain Cross’s status, what kind of woman couldn’t he have? He just lacked something to tie him down, and Flora Bloom happened to provide it!"

Five and Nolan Jennings were awake, standing by the villa’s courtyard wall, their faces etched with worry.
They would occasionally look up at the sky, then glance around warily, alert to any changes in their surroundings.
Until, from the empty space beside them, came the soft voice of the invisible Crown Prince.
"Someone’s coming."
