Within a month, Morhaven’s original Adepts had all advanced to the Middle Level.
As for the ordinary people who previously had no powers, nearly half of them successfully awakened superpowers of their own.

Thus, they now had aerial transportation routes and a means for long-distance communication on the ground. Furthermore, in his spare time, Professor Micah improved the dispersal device and installed dispersal machines at various points throughout the Morhaven forest.
This allowed them to drive the forest’s beasts into different zones in batches, separating the more powerful creatures from the weaker ones. This, in turn, allowed the people of the Morhaven base to hunt in areas that matched their individual strength levels.
Additionally, Morhaven’s agricultural technology saw a breakthrough. Flora Bloom took some of the spirit soil from her personal dimension and spread it over the base’s farmland.
As a result, the Morhaven base was now self-sufficient in food, no longer dependent on the supplies from Flora Bloom’s dimension.
By this point, Flora Bloom was eight months pregnant, with just over a month until her due date.
In her past life, a harsh existence and poor nutrition had left Flora Bloom rail-thin. But in this life, thanks to a stable environment, better food, and a more positive mindset, she had clearly filled out.
The soft, healthy roundness made her look even more vibrant.
The sight of Flora, eight months pregnant and simply walking around, made Lex Cross a nervous wreck.
"Can you please stop following me everywhere? I’m just pregnant, not an invalid!"

Lex Cross looked at Flora’s fuming expression and suddenly broke into a smile. ’Am I going crazy?’ he wondered. ’Why am I so happy even when she’s yelling at me?’
"How is it not my business? My daughter says she misses her daddy. Besides, you need to rest!" With that, Lex Cross ignored Flora’s protests, swept her up into his arms, and started walking toward the villa.

Flora struggled to get down, but then she saw Caleb Bloom and Jade walking toward them.
"Mom, Dad, look at him! He watches me every day and won’t let me go anywhere. I’m dying of boredom!"
Seeing Lex Cross, Caleb Bloom and Jade immediately beamed. "It’s about time someone reined in this little hell-raiser! One day you’re flying off into the sky with that silly Golden Crow, the next you’re running off with that foolish girl Cynthia Grant."
"Young Thorne! You keep a good eye on her! She’s about to be a mother, so why is she still acting like a child? Hurry up and take her back for a nap. Pregnant women need lots of rest!"
And just like that, Flora was escorted back to their room by Lex Cross, who gently laid her down on the soft, cushioned bed.
She shot a vicious glare at Lex Cross. She kept glaring and glaring, until her eyes grew tired from glaring, and she fell asleep.
When she woke again, the sky was pitch-black.
Flora was woken by the RUMBLING of her stomach. She decided to go downstairs to find something to eat.
But then she heard voices from the living room downstairs. It was Neal Wallace talking with her father, Caleb Bloom, and a few others.

"From what I hear, they’ve completely run out of ammunition. The remaining Adepts are being worn down, wave after wave. I’m afraid they can’t hold out for much longer."
