Water Overlord Latto, Level 20 Boss!

There were not many elemental creatures to begin with, let alone a Water Overlord. This would have a chance to drop an Elemental Contract which allowed the user to summon a Water Overlord to fight along!

To a Contract Summoner, this was priceless!

A Water Overlord had three attack patterns. The first was to swing its fist and deal AOE damage. But due to its slow attack speed, as long as a player was good and got the right position in time, it was not difficult to dodge the attacks.

The second one was to use the wave attack. It had a tremendous area of impact, and it would stop after it hit 10 players. Therefore, one had to just let the MTs tank the damage.

The third skill was a bit of a nightmare. It chose a target, like how it swallowed Lin Jie, and swallowed it into its stomach, killing it instantly.

The team originally had 60 players, but 2 of the Shield Specialists were swallowed.

But that did not matter much! With the effort of the crowd, the health point of Latto had dropped more than 20%! To Hell Plume, as long as Latto dropped the contract, it was worth it for these people to die!

Latto’s recovery speed was much slower than the damage it received, and it was dropping at a visible rate.

As a Weapon Specialist, the most powerful combo skills of Broken Wings could not be used against Latto. Each hit that landed on Latto only dealt slightly more than 10 damage.

That was still because the health points of Latto had dropped. If its health points were full, even Lin Jie could not break that defense.

“It’s going to swallow, dodge!”

Hell Plume shouted as Latto smashed its fist onto the ground. When it was lifted again, Broken Wings’ body was hanging in the air, struggling.

The recovery rate of the Boss was constant, but the damage output of the team was decreasing! When the members dropped to a certain number, the damage output would no longer match the recovery speed of the Boss!

With a loud sound, Latto picked up two people and swallowed them!

Its health points were restored to full value!

“Retreat!” shouted Hell Plume in alarm. He had given up the fight and decided to retreat.

Lin Jie was elated. It was much more worth it to kill a player than farming monsters. No wonder PK-maniacs loved Battlefield. The thrill in PvP was indeed addictive!

Furthermore, there was a Contract Book.

[Contract Book: Water Overlord]: Can be used by Contract Summoners. Players can summon a Water Overlord that can be contracted 10 times. Each time the attributes of the Water Overlord decrease by 7%.

The contract books of Contract Summoner were irritating stuff. For a Contract Summoner, as long as they found something suitable, they could contract it.

The contract books, however, sealed many creatures that could not be contracted normally. Such as the Water Overlord, or dragon creatures. After being sealed, these tough creatures could be contracted up to 10 times by the contract summoners, and each time their attributes would drop. If a player only succeeded in the 10th contract, only 30% of the original attributes would remain.

Therefore, Contract Summoner depended a lot on luck.

Looking at the darken name of Zheng Ziliang, Lin Jie decided to send him the wand and book.

Blink was the core skill of a mage, and it required level 20 to learn. It allowed the user to teleport in a distance of 15 to 20 yards. It gave the artillery mage the ability to teleport. It was the most powerful contain and anti-contain skill.

One book of it could worth more than hundreds of thousand!

Mages were the best for leveling, and thus one could reach level 20 first. They would then realize that Blink required a skill book! Players would kill one another for this skill book.

But it was the other skill book that made Lin Jie happy.

“The gold daggers you got… were mine. I want to buy them back. As you can see, the attributes of these daggers are not that good, and they are pretty useless for a warrior…” said Shadow.

“We… don’t have money…” Shadow’s voice was shaking.

“Then what you’ve got? Dark Gold of equivalent value would do the trick too.”
