"Yes, it’s really delicious, this is wonderful. I think this is the best outcome because we can still enjoy this happy mommy’s porridge tomorrow," Yu Ze joked.
"Since you all like it, let’s have this again tomorrow," Qin Xue said. She wasn’t sure if it was because she hadn’t cooked a proper meal in a long time or for some other reason, but seeing her family with such expressions made her feel she had been negligent.
"Yay." Actually, they just wanted to sit together as a family and have a meal, without really caring what they ate.
And this was the consensus; of course, everyone agreed.
For the sake of everyone’s taste buds, Qin Xue nodded and promised. Tomorrow she would make something different, like fish porridge, which she hadn’t made in a long time. Thinking about that fresh fish meat in the pantry, she realized she was really craving it.
